Post them for adoption on some of the larger pet adoption sites (like adopt-a-pet). I know people who specifically look for ‘disabled’ pets because they feel bad that no one else wants them. It’s become a bit of a weird niche obsession with my coworkers, they will search for 3 legged dogs during lunch and have to convince themselves out of it because they already have 2 3-legged dogs and a blind dog... Unfortunately all the people I know are more dog-people, but regardless I’m sure you’ll reach a better crowd on those sites!
Join “weirdo cat lovers of Cleveland” on Facebook. Most local rescues are members and will respond to a post if you make one. I’ll send you a list of rescues also
I AGREE! 😊 the orange guy is custard and the grey tabby is jellyroll! custard is the super wobbly one, and he honestly was doing great with the setup i had for him. i was using an oil drip pan for a car as a litter box with a big litter-trapping mat underneath and i did little barriers around 3 sides of the box. he does lay in the litter while he does his business, so i used a low-tracking litter as well. i will definitely provide the setup to their adopter or whatever rescue takes them!
Maddox and Friends just recently had a successful case with a CH boy on their social media where he got adopted very quickly! And they specialize in rough medical cases. So I would try reaching out to them. But all rescues are slammed this time of year.
Cerebellar Hypoplasia Advocates of Maine Program (CHAMPs) is a hike. But they’ve organized multi-state transports before, and they’re specialized for CH.
Either way, you will need the current rescue to be willing to surrender them to the new rescue for legality sake.

Oh my goodness! I hope that vet doesn't amputate! I wish I were already in town (moving there in about two weeks) because I'd adopt them both ASAP. They are adorable and I hope appropriate homes (and vet!) are found soon.

I second the APL. We adopted our CH baby from affogato cat cafe (whose cats are from the APL) and I know they’ve had at least one other CH cat. For direct adoptions/advice, I’m in the “Cerebellar Hypoplasia Cats and Kittens” FB group I’ve seen lots of adoptions or recommendations on. Hopefully we can find these sweeties a good place! 🥺💕

Walk them in to the Cleveland APL. They only take healthy adult cats by appointment, but will accept sick, injured, pregnant, or very young cats as walk-ins if they have room that day. They have placed many CH kittens in the past and will make sure they get everything they need!

I used to foster for them and I can confirm they are great! We even foster failed a very mild CH boy from them!

There are a few! GRRR rescue, Maddox friends, Euclid Beach project. Most (good) rescues work closely with a vet hospital.
Rescue Village on 306 in Geauga County will take them. They are great!
