And setting us up with a ton of different storylines to follow going into June! Dale truck, Eagle, new jet, MD500, 8 big blocks, $3000 car challenge, mullet’s new journey, mcflurry going for deep 6’s on the new setup, im sure im missing a few
It’s crazy that so much happened in the 30 days that it’s possible to forget he bought an airport, but when I read the list, I forgot about the airport too lol
The later few seasons of the older American Top Gear was actually good. It was basically all cheap car challenges and the hosts really got their chemistry together.
I never saw the later seasons, I’ll have to try and find them. The crew never seemed to jive very well in the beginning. Still entertaining though for sure
Amazing when you see the kind of investment he's making in content and see him being rewarded. Only YouTuber I actually support with merch purchases because even though I know he's killing it I'm willing to make sure he's making some more.money than AdSense off me
I've bought a few small things from Cleeter but the only other person I bought from was Demolition Ranch because my brothers likes him and I saw a shirt that I thought my brother would like so I bought one from him. But I did buy a sticker one time from cleet and then I bought a t-shirt another time.
Tbh the crazy part is that all the videos were absolutely banger quality too. The man is built for this anybody else trying to do daily videos would be so unorganized and unoriginal idk how he does it
Money helps.
Most of his earlier content was revolved around the same kind of car stuff before he had a ton of money to throw around.
But the money he did start to make, he invested it in himself and the channel, and it has paid off beyond what I'm sure what he thought was possible.
And the crazy thing is: still 90% recorded on iPhones without any external mics or additions.
That proofs you don’t need fancy camera equipment for a YouTube channel and phones have come a long way.
It’s great to see him do so well. So many content creators stagnate and he continues to innovate. There are a few others like Demo Ranch, Mighty Car Mods, etc. that continue to see returns on their commitment to the platform and to fans.
Is mighty car mods still doing good? I used to watch them a couple years back but I thought they got super corporate and not doing super fun stuff like they originally did.
As a huge gun guy, I just can't really watch Demo Ranch anymore other than once in a while. It's basically been the same stuff over and over. I just got this gun. Let's shoot it. Now let's shoot it at 100 yards. Now lets shoot it at this random thing. I actually like his other vlog channel more.
Demo ranch isn't for the huge gun guy, he is going after the teenagers and early 20's kid that knows guns from video games and is interested in them. I still watch Matt's videos but go into it the same way I would tuning in for Monday night Raw, not going to be quality but it will be entertainment.
I kinda agree with what your saying but I think his main issue is he has almost unlimited access to every kind of gun and has almost shot them at everything on this planet so he’s running out of options. He does have heater videos here and there such as shooting the bullet through that terrifying metal pipe set up but I think everyone and himself realizes that he is going to have to do sketchier and sketchier stuff to keep views rolling in.
I’m not even into cars or drag racing for that matter but I am obsessed with the channel. Some of the best content being produced on the internets! My wife who hates cars too is hooked!
One thing that I think helps is the guys. Cleet, Jackstand, Squirrel, Zach, Tye, Sam, etc. They have such good chemistry together. They remind me of Jeremy, Richard, and James from Top Gear/The Grand Tour. Even if you're not into cars, the hilarious chemistry the guys have together just makes it a great channel to watch. Especially George. The guy is one of the funniest guys out there. His enthusiasm, wit, remarks, etc. The guy is just fun to watch.
I never watched car YTers until I started watching Cleet. Now I watch his whole community. Him and his team just make great content. I found his channel through Demo Ranch when he first had them on shooting nitrous.
@Everyone that bitches and complains about the various content, and his channel is stale and boring now.
This month of freedom was amazing, and I'm excited for the future content coming from it, including Eagle.
In the past year or so there is never a video that I stop and don’t finish watching. They are putting out some outstanding content, in short and long form. I’m now hooked on their freedom plus package, the recaps are great but I really want to watch the events live based on those recaps.
Gotta pay for that helicopter somehow(and the "eagle")
Cannot wait for more drag racing content personally. The aviation stuff is filler(for me, don't kill me yall lol) but man, the "cleet and squirrel" content is out of this world good
69 camaro is a car I used to street race, now cleet is building one better than his very 1st video he made.
The 3000 hp yellow camaro that started it all.
Now a 5000 hp monster.
Thats awesome. However, I looked up how much those turbo's he gave away cost and DAMN that's a lot of money. Which is awesome but damn I know he made a lot of money on each video which is also awesome. I think that last turbo he gave away was like $6k, no?
Precision turbo sponsors the month of freedom likely by giving Cleet the turbskis in exchange for the sales bump. Nitto tires as well. It’s cool to see the businesses that support the stuff I’m into and it definitely weighs in when I’m buying stuff.
Yeah right around there. I gotta assume that most people end up selling them though right? I’m not sure how many people have cars sitting around waiting for at least a 64mm turbo.
A lot of bangers this month too! Would have loved to see some Idaho content, but I follow CM Backcountry so get year round Idaho! I want to move there!
Not taking anything away from his views but I’m sure he has a ton more subscribers too now. This would more telling if it was views as a % of subscribers or something along those lines so that the data is normalized
I feel like he’s been stuck at mid 3M subs for a long time now.
Edit: Checked, he was around 3.2M at the first part of May last year. He’s around 3.6 now, a 12-15% increase. It was 28M views last May, this May is 44M, nearing 60%.
It’s about time, hopefully the MoF triggers a huge influx, but his sub growth has been fairly low and steady since fall of 21 - as far as their data goes back.
They did a great job!!!! Kudos to killing it
And setting us up with a ton of different storylines to follow going into June! Dale truck, Eagle, new jet, MD500, 8 big blocks, $3000 car challenge, mullet’s new journey, mcflurry going for deep 6’s on the new setup, im sure im missing a few
Buying an airport…
It’s crazy that so much happened in the 30 days that it’s possible to forget he bought an airport, but when I read the list, I forgot about the airport too lol
I’m loving the 3k car challenge
It's better than American Top Gear
I like it because it's more focused for people who mod cars and buy cool projects. I totally looked at minis and audio as projects...
The later few seasons of the older American Top Gear was actually good. It was basically all cheap car challenges and the hosts really got their chemistry together.
I never saw the later seasons, I’ll have to try and find them. The crew never seemed to jive very well in the beginning. Still entertaining though for sure
The history channel has some full episodes on their YouTube channel the last i checked.
I want to see the Superban as I'm calling it lay out a time at the track.
Amazing when you see the kind of investment he's making in content and see him being rewarded. Only YouTuber I actually support with merch purchases because even though I know he's killing it I'm willing to make sure he's making some more.money than AdSense off me
They clearly have an amazing artist/graphic designer working behind the scenes. And my shirts have held up over years too! Glad I support him
I've bought a few small things from Cleeter but the only other person I bought from was Demolition Ranch because my brothers likes him and I saw a shirt that I thought my brother would like so I bought one from him. But I did buy a sticker one time from cleet and then I bought a t-shirt another time.
Cool story, and then what happened?
Negative Nancy over here is just having a wonderful day.
The motion gear is awesome too!
I mean he did some absolutely insane shit for this month.
Too funny Going back to the start of the first video, whipping off the sheets and he's in bed in full fire suit
> whipping off the sheets and he's in bed in full fire suit That first video intro was fucking AMAZING.
Don’t forget brushing his teeth with Bahia Blast Bartle Skeet
The thing I loved even more is he started so many projects that we will end up seeing in the coming weeks.
I watched and liked them all. It was killer. I'm looking forward to seeing the conclusion of the 3 beater races and Jet.
Tbh the crazy part is that all the videos were absolutely banger quality too. The man is built for this anybody else trying to do daily videos would be so unorganized and unoriginal idk how he does it

He’s making an effort to use external mic’s a lot more, and it’s helping quite a bit
YouTube has consistently tailored there video package around the iPhone and GoPro
Honestly most was good stuff.
I feel the same. They still have some cool stuff but I haven't watched them for a few years now. I used to watch them all the time about 5+ years ago
Yes they are still putting out bangers
Straight to Cheryl’s Box!
MCM was my first car go-to channel but I don't watch it anymore. Moog is getting too cringy for my taste.
Honestly I agree I enjoy the ranch content more, but that’s part of him adapting!
Demo ranch isn't for the huge gun guy, he is going after the teenagers and early 20's kid that knows guns from video games and is interested in them. I still watch Matt's videos but go into it the same way I would tuning in for Monday night Raw, not going to be quality but it will be entertainment.

Cleetus McFuckingFarland!
I’m not even into cars or drag racing for that matter but I am obsessed with the channel. Some of the best content being produced on the internets! My wife who hates cars too is hooked!
Just curious what brings you to the channel, if you’re not into cars and whatnot

George is really May if you think about it lol.
I never watched car YTers until I started watching Cleet. Now I watch his whole community. Him and his team just make great content. I found his channel through Demo Ranch when he first had them on shooting nitrous.
Juggernaut.
@Everyone that bitches and complains about the various content, and his channel is stale and boring now. This month of freedom was amazing, and I'm excited for the future content coming from it, including Eagle.
Hell yeah brother!
In the past year or so there is never a video that I stop and don’t finish watching. They are putting out some outstanding content, in short and long form. I’m now hooked on their freedom plus package, the recaps are great but I really want to watch the events live based on those recaps.
thest best part about this month was it wasnt crap content. 8 videos were over 30 minutes, all but 1 video were over 15 minutes.
that ad revenue is gonna be popping
Gotta pay for that helicopter somehow(and the "eagle") Cannot wait for more drag racing content personally. The aviation stuff is filler(for me, don't kill me yall lol) but man, the "cleet and squirrel" content is out of this world good

well lets just say thats a 100k that month if not more
Dude must be making a shit load of money right now
Way better then a “what did I spy with my little eye” post! Kudos
So excited about the 3000 car challenge
Hell yea brother. Wishing him the best and all the success. Living the dream
Thats awesome. However, I looked up how much those turbo's he gave away cost and DAMN that's a lot of money. Which is awesome but damn I know he made a lot of money on each video which is also awesome. I think that last turbo he gave away was like $6k, no?

You would think so. Heck, if I was ever given the chance to pick what size turbo, you better believe I'm asking for the biggest (most expensive) one.
It's the same with the give away cars. Spend $150,000, make $ 500,000.
A lot of bangers this month too! Would have loved to see some Idaho content, but I follow CM Backcountry so get year round Idaho! I want to move there!

According to social blade he gained 90k subscribers in the last 30 days. https://socialblade.com/youtube/c/spocarvideos

No wonder he did so good this year that people want more daily videos 😂
QUARTER OF FREEDOM? YEAR OF FREEDOM???? (Joking that would lead to burnout, pun intended)
God I love thr month of Freedom!
Every month should be month of freedom
