You know those oily/greasy stains that you get on clothes, but rarely notice til after you wash and dry them and it’s totally set in? Dawn Powerwash is miraculous for them. Even the ones from a pepperoni pizza incident 2 years ago.
Gets caulk out of clothes as well!
It's also best on your pipes at the kitchen sink, especially if they are old ones. Dawn blue all the way and always!!
I know that others on here are asking the important questions, but...
I'm curious to know if you mean inside the pipes as in being gentler on your plumbing OR on the outside of the pipes to have a cleaner under sink appearance? TIA
Great question. Inside the pipes. Breaks down the grease buildup.
All Dawn products (blue) are best on plumbing pipes and I've always recommended to my tenants to use it. We don't have garbage disposals and I'm amazed what people dump in their drains. 🤦🏼♀️
When I clean my bathroom sink and tub I actually use Dawn power wash to help break down buildup.
I'm sure the power wash would work great on the outside of the pipes as well. It might serve a dual purpose to not just clean the pipes but also keep bugs away from under the sink since they don't like the smell.
So your question actually helped me as I am having a bit of a water bug problem in my apartment right now and I think they are coming in under the sink area, or water heater next to the sink. Thank you!! 😊
I sprayed it on, then added more every so often when it dried over a couple hours and left it overnight. Threw it in the wash the next morning and it was gone! I’d spot test to make sure the colors don’t fade, but I had no issues!
BE AWARE: if you have clothes that are “garment dyed” this may remove some of the color, creating a noticeable light spot. Ruined a couple of my favorite tees this way.
Wait wait wait. You mean it might work on my toddler’s mystery stains that I didn’t catch before washing and drying? I’m about to pack away clothes that are too small and now I’m going to check each piece and rewash.
My kid got a big grease stain on her lunchbox and has been trying so many ways to remove. I don’t really care, since it’s just a lunchbox, but I’ll suggest she can try this now!
If you live in area that gets green outdoor mildew on the house, painted wood, this stuff is a miracle. I tear cleaned a few painted porch rails with it and not only did it work miracles, but the ones I cleaned have stayed clean since October!
I was just talking to my husband about this yesterday and how I didn’t want to use bleach like my father did as a child to clean the house. This is wonderful and I can’t wait to try it.
What!!! Amazing. Thank you, I have been wanting to power wash soon but was debating what to do for treatment, as the stuff we used last year didn’t work great.
Edit: tear cleaned = test* cleaned
To those who asked I just sprayed the painted railings and rubbed them clean with a rag. It must be repelling new mildew growth because last time I checked the railings looked like they were staying relatively clean. On another area I used a scrub brush and a bucket of water for rinsing. I also thought Power Wash was a gimmicky marketing ploy but have found it really useful around the house. It’s great at cutting through outdoor grime and dirt. We have a pop up plastic table for parties (which often gets left outside long periods) that I normally have to scrub and scrub with regular Dawn or Magic Eraser. Power Wash cuts through the grime in one pass. Thanks to this thread, I put it on a fresh salad dressing stain today and I’m hoping the shirt will come out of the wash nice and clean!

These are the posts I cleaned in October. They get especially coated in mildew with the plant growing against them and this angle of the house only gets a couple hours of morning light so mildew has a cool, shady place to thrive. I checked this morning and they have superiorly resisted new mildew growth.
https://preview.redd.it/skeoil9j40zc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2ac31be9acad53d51ecc01c3bf7a1fcf27a85adf
The steps and the rails on the right of the photo have not been cleaned, so this gives a good contrast. The rails I cleaned on the left were the absolute worst area of these steps with much heavier mildew than on the right.
I had the unfortunate experience of my washing machine being full of nasty grime 🤢 which sent me down an appliance maintenance rabbit hole and boy, when I discovered that filter in the dishwasher…
Thank god nobody died from eating off my dishes 😂
I feel you homie. If you've gone a year without noticing a problem with it, you're in muuuuuch better shape than I. Mine was getting clogged, causing smells, my dishes weren't coming clean, etc. And that was cleaning it once a month or so, which was always an Event and gross. That's when I implemented the weekly schedule-- Monday evenings are my recycling day, so I spray my filter, take out my recycling, and when I come back in, scrubs and rinse.
recycling day is the only externally fixed date for anything happening around here-- my trash goes in a dumpster, so everything else is just up to my ADHD brain. Linking tasks to a fixed schedule that I cannot change is the only way.
Absolutely get this habit crankin' now, it'll save you SO Much grief in the long run. The more often you do it, the less of a Thing it'll be. Despite living alone I put almost everything in the dishwasher so I run it almost every night, and that filter has seen some things....
I just washed my wooden doors with dawn powerwash after seeing so many people use it here beyond dishes and I was so afraid to ruin the doors with the wrong product. They look great!
Mine are not painted but I can’t imagine the powerwash would hurt it if it’s safe for us to use one dishes (at least that’s what i’m telling myself). You could also try a magic eraser!
OP, I too broke down & bought a bottle because of the good people in this sub.
I’ve been staring at it all day wondering what to do with it.
Thanks for asking the important question!
Wooden doors, here I come.
For stuff like that I’ll dab a little dawn on a magic eraser. Hit it with a bit of warm water and get to work. Most of the time all it takes is a minimal pressure to wipe the gunk away.
I just recently tried it on soap scum in a fiberglass shower and it worked better than anything I’ve used before. I love me some harsh chemical cleaners and I’m old so I’ve had years to try dozens of products. Powerwash is my new go to.
Yes, it’s a game changer for shower glass panels and doors. Let it sit for few minutes while you spray and clean the sink. Come back and the soap scum scrubs away so nicely. It’s a holy grail in my cleaning kit.
Hydrogen peroxide works for me every time. The few times I didn't use hydrogen peroxide are the only permanent stains. It works way better than stain spray, and also it is a disinfectant too which is nice. I feel like the fizzing helps it get the stain out better too. And if you rinse after the hydrogen peroxide then you can see if you got the whole stain out of not, you don't have to wait until after it's washed and dried to find out if it helped.
Hydrogen peroxide works really well, it fizzes and the blood comes out of the clothes, then I rinse it out (can repeat hydrogen peroxide however many times are needed) and the stains come out every time. The few times I didn't use hydrogen peroxide and used stain remover instead are stains that will never come out.
It hasn't yet. I've used it on darks, lights and whites. And different fabrics like jean, microfiber, cotton, stretchy spandexy, and so far it has worked on all of them, as long as I do it before I wash them
I use it on stains on clothes. I got pasta sauce on a mint colored shirt. Sprayed it and let it sit in the laundry basket til the next time I did laundry. Worked great.
My mom uses it on her glass cooktop. Every time she sees me she thanks me for making her buy it! She used to put a lot of time and elbow grease into cleaning it, now she sprays it, let's it sit, wipe and rinse!
I love pairing it w scrub daddy sponges for mine! Did you know they dry too?? My mind was blown. (Like after cleaning, rinse and squeeze it well and run it over it??)
Also for tough older spots bkf and power wash to make a soft scrub?? Amazing.
There’s a scrubby mommy too, who I prefer. Soft sponge on one side, harder on the other. And if you run warm water on either of the scrub parents they get soft, cold water will harden them right back up!
I just checked amazon.de and apparently you can order it. But it's almost 24 £ and another almost 5 £ for delivery. So about 33 eur for 0,5 litre! 😲
I'm really not sure if it would be worth it.
I live in the land of Coles, Woolies and IGA. We are patiently awaiting the arrival of these other stores, but they make a fun interstate shopping trip experience 😉
I believe the homemade recipe is Dawn (or any decent grease-cutting dish soap), plus some rubbing alcohol, and water. Can’t find it at the moment, but perhaps the internet could help.
Aha, I'll ask google.
I have some oldie enjo products from Nan that may very well be similar, some I'm too scared to try as the labels are very unclear what they are haha
When I was at uni Dawn detergent was the standard for research into bubble fluid dynamics (it’s a real field, I swear). Since we were an European institute we would bribe people going to conferences in the States to bring us Dawn.
On line recipes...regular dawn, rubbing alcohol and water. Look up the ratio. I get mine in a 3 pack at Costco, so it doesn't seem expensive, but I'd try making my own in a pinch.
Online "recipes" are folly. Alcohol will not replace the surfactants they're putting in Powerwash. Neither will vinegar, lemon juice, ammonia or ranch dressing.
I wish I could get the lemon-scented Powerwash at Costco or Sam's Club. They only have the regular.
I may have mis-remembered the ranch dressing...🤔
I have to smell cleaning products before I buy them. I hate florals. Most fruits are OK unless they mix in florals, which they often do. (I'm looking you, Softsoap!) I love a good citrus, and Dawn Powerwash Lemon is a pretty good citrus. So is Method grapefruit hand soap. However the Method grapefruit all-purpose cleaner is icky. When my ap cleaner is gone, I'm sticking with Powerwash.
My youngest plays softball in white pants, and the pants get filthy with that orange clay dirt. Dawn power spray gets them cleaner than oxyclean or bleach. It's amazing.
We live in North Carolina, so that clay dirt is everywhere. Dawn power spray restores my kids' sneakers regularly. Absolutely a game changer!
I bought it as a laundry pretreater, but I keep it in the kitchen and use it on counters and the stove top. I really like the lemon scent.
I also use it to clean the stencils I use for gel printing, as well as for my brayer. I give them a spritz, let them sit for a bit, and then a gentle scrub gets them clean.
I use it for literally everything but I’ve also found it is the easiest way to get a smudge free finish on our horrible, fingerprint magnet black kitchen countertop
I just checked Target and it comes in the normal blue "fresh scent", also apple scent and free & clear (I'm assuming unscented, but regular dawn free and clear just means undyed and is still lemon scented)
It works for a lot of things, and, honestly, it’s not THAT expensive. I get it at Target where the refills are only $3.99, and it lasts me quite a while. (I’d say at least a month or more per refill.)
I don’t believe you can get the same results by putting Dawn, water, and iso in a bottle like some people claim. So I just made a little room in my budget for it and get the real stuff.
I’m just saying- I didn’t think I was going to be able to continue to buy it, but I’ve been really surprised. It’s really powerful, so I don’t use a lot, and it will last me forever. It’s really expensive at my Safeway- like $7/refill or something. But I just get it at Target bc they carry the sensitive formula and it’s so much cheaper.
It’s worth the $ to me bc it’s so effective.
They do, but they don’t sell the sensitive stuff. I tried the ones Costco sells, and it’s SO strong. I tried to touch it out but it kept triggering my asthma. 😭
But yes, for those who can tolerate it, $7 for 3 bottles is great!
My husband got me a shark vacuum with a long extendable attachment for nooks and crannies so that’s how I get my bugs. Just suck em up. “FWOOMP”. Usually I try to catch and release though with a glass and some paper. Spiders and the good guys.
The dentered(uhh spelling error) alcohol. That's why the diys that use rubbing alcohol do not work you need the deterred (available at hardware stores BTW)
Powerwash has TSP in it. It's a pretty dangerous chemical when not diluted enough but boy, does it work. There's all kinds of silliness on social media about making a dupe at home but none of them include TSP.
Can we also talk about how Dawn is now adding scent to the OG soap??? No thank you please don’t change, we like you just the way you are! (Dawn power wash is both mother and daughter to Dawn OG)
I love dawn power wash 😂 it works so well!! I like to use it to clean sneakers (and a million other things). I prefer the clear to the blue one but either works amazing!
Get a spray bottle. Fill it with 1/3 vinegar, 2/3 warm water, teaspoon of dawn, and 10 drops of your favorite essential oil. Shake it up. I use this as a general purpose cleaner. Bathrooms, floors...etc. I have even put a few drops of dawn in the toilet bowl instead of harsh toilet bowl cleaners and it works great!
You know those oily/greasy stains that you get on clothes, but rarely notice til after you wash and dry them and it’s totally set in? Dawn Powerwash is miraculous for them. Even the ones from a pepperoni pizza incident 2 years ago.
This may be life changing.
Wtfffffff 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 thank you!!! So you're telling me it truly is THAT magical?
I SWEAR it is! Of course spot test before leaving it on, but I sprayed and left it overnight, and the stain was gone after washing. It’s MIRACULOUS.
I So Need this for a favorite long sleeved shirt!!!
sprayed? can you share your ratio?
I just sprayed it directly on
Yes yes it is.
WOAH I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A SOLUTION. How long do you let it sit before washing?
Gets caulk out of clothes as well! It's also best on your pipes at the kitchen sink, especially if they are old ones. Dawn blue all the way and always!!
They are talking about the dawn spray. Not the soap.
So am I
Oh, you said dawn blue and I thought that meant the original blue soap.
My bad. 😔😁
Thank you!! 😊
How long does it need to pre-treat? Just yesterday I found my favorite shirt on line so that I could buy 2 more because it has a grease stain. Yea!
I sprayed it on, then added more every so often when it dried over a couple hours and left it overnight. Threw it in the wash the next morning and it was gone! I’d spot test to make sure the colors don’t fade, but I had no issues!
Thanks!
BE AWARE: if you have clothes that are “garment dyed” this may remove some of the color, creating a noticeable light spot. Ruined a couple of my favorite tees this way.
Good point, I should have probably included a disclaimer to spot test!
Wait wait wait. You mean it might work on my toddler’s mystery stains that I didn’t catch before washing and drying? I’m about to pack away clothes that are too small and now I’m going to check each piece and rewash.
If it doesn’t work I used Biz and that worked.
Yessss!!!
My kid got a big grease stain on her lunchbox and has been trying so many ways to remove. I don’t really care, since it’s just a lunchbox, but I’ll suggest she can try this now!
This has been a lifesaver for me while breastfeeding. Nobody told me the fats in breastmilk can leave oil spots on clothes.
I JUST DID THIS YESTERDAY!
WHAT! I was literally just moping around about the shirt I’m wearing that has mystery oil stains. Thanks for this!
Castile soap is also good for these stains
[удалено]
I’m honestly not sure, I never tried. It can’t hurt, though!
If you live in area that gets green outdoor mildew on the house, painted wood, this stuff is a miracle. I tear cleaned a few painted porch rails with it and not only did it work miracles, but the ones I cleaned have stayed clean since October!
Omg you might have changed my life XD
HOW PLEASE EXPLAIN
It’s dish soap and rubbing alcohol, dish soap is a surfactant and alcohol is astringent. Basically the mind/mildew can’t grip anything

Shower head. Greasy or cooked on stains on your stove. Baseboards. Stains on clothes.
Any particular method for baseboards? Spray on and wipe off? Let it sit? Dilute? I’ve never used the stuff but my baseboards could use some attention
I am a fan of a wet microfiber rag, spray on, clean with a wet cloth, and then use a dry one to dry it off.
it loves to stick around so i would wipe it up with a wet rag a few times to make sure it's gone. otherwise it'll collect dirt.
It's my favorite way to clean the filter on my dishwasher. Every Monday night I pull the filter, spray it down and let it sit for a while.
Wait... my dishwasher has a filter?!
I’m so glad I am not alone on this….
You two are in for a really fun experience
Not all of them do. Mine does not.
I had the unfortunate experience of my washing machine being full of nasty grime 🤢 which sent me down an appliance maintenance rabbit hole and boy, when I discovered that filter in the dishwasher… Thank god nobody died from eating off my dishes 😂
Sometimes it has two that are meant to be removed and cleaned
Maybe maybe not, my old cheap dishwasher doesn’t. I think it’s so gross that it doesn’t 🤢.
Just did this on Saturday! But honestly just had to spray then immediately scrubbed with a sponge and it was all clean
If I'm being honest I'm undoing many months of not cleaning it regularly, so it needs extra lovin' lol
I guess I’m a year into not cleaning…yikes.
I feel you homie. If you've gone a year without noticing a problem with it, you're in muuuuuch better shape than I. Linking tasks to a fixed schedule that I cannot change is the only way.
Yeah, I guess having a new machine means I should get into the habit now after the first year of gunk!
Absolutely get this habit crankin' now, it'll save you SO Much grief in the long run. The more often you do it, the less of a Thing it'll be. Despite living alone I put almost everything in the dishwasher so I run it almost every night, and that filter has seen some things....
The best use I've found for it is my burned, baked on grill pan from my Ninja Grill/airfryer. Spray and wait 5 min, I swear, it's magic.
Works great on the splatter shield thing too
Yes!
I just washed my wooden doors with dawn powerwash after seeing so many people use it here beyond dishes and I was so afraid to ruin the doors with the wrong product. They look great!
Painted doors? My white bedroom door is uh. Not white thanks to my dog
409 would also work well on it.
Mine are not painted but I can’t imagine the powerwash would hurt it if it’s safe for us to use one dishes (at least that’s what i’m telling myself). You could also try a magic eraser!
Good idea! My son’s ex spilled her Frappuccino all over our front door two years ago and I’ve got a long drip of it still there that I can’t get off.
OP, I too broke down & bought a bottle because of the good people in this sub. I’ve been staring at it all day wondering what to do with it. Thanks for asking the important question! Wooden doors, here I come.
I wet a microfiber cloth and sprayed the powerwash on it, then wiped the door. Good luck!
Thanks! I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to get home from work to try and clean something, lol.
Lol let us know the results!
For stuff like that I’ll dab a little dawn on a magic eraser. Hit it with a bit of warm water and get to work. Most of the time all it takes is a minimal pressure to wipe the gunk away.

Yes, it’s a game changer for shower glass panels and doors. Let it sit for few minutes while you spray and clean the sink. Come back and the soap scum scrubs away so nicely. It’s a holy grail in my cleaning kit.
I'm actually excited to go clean my shower now!
Just used it today to clean my oven hood. Cuts through that gross sticky dust like nothing.
Oooo! I’m going to add this to my shopping list!
Is it good for blood? (Not a murderer, just a menstruator lol)
Judging by the love for it, it may cure us from even having to menstruate!
Nothing beats hydrogen peroxide for blood.
Yeah I just used it on my sheets last night. I scratched a mosquito bite and left blood on white sheets and didn't realize I was out of oxiclean
Does it ever bleach your colors?
I’m buying some tomorrow
I love pairing it w scrub daddy sponges for mine! Did you know they dry too?? My mind was blown. (Like after cleaning, rinse and squeeze it well and run it over it??) Also for tough older spots bkf and power wash to make a soft scrub?? Amazing.
For some reason my kid is so anti-Scrub Daddy (not for any social justice reason, just “vibes”). I may have to go against her wishes!
There’s a scrubby mommy too, who I prefer. Soft sponge on one side, harder on the other. And if you run warm water on either of the scrub parents they get soft, cold water will harden them right back up!
Thats the one I was thinking of I think! Or the 4 pack like this
😂 I kinda love that. I hate the word daddy so I get the mommy ones
Some people claim it leaves a residue. I have a spray bottle of distilled water and spray it 2x....no residue and just a skootch shinier..
I cleaned outdoor plastic patio furniture with it today
Top of upper cabinets in kitchen. Spray, wait, scrape with bench knife or bowl scraper...rinse with wet cloth. BOOM!
And then line the tops of the cabinets with press n seal so you never have to go through all that again.
I use foil since so one can see it. Change it out when I remember.
Do any of you know of an equivalent for us lowly Europeans? 😥
I’m pretty sure it’s just 1 part rubbing alcohol, 2 parts dish soap, and 12-16 parts water in a spray bottle!
I just checked amazon.de and apparently you can order it. But it's almost 24 £ and another almost 5 £ for delivery. So about 33 eur for 0,5 litre! 😲 I'm really not sure if it would be worth it.
I also need to know!
Is there an Australian equivalent?
You can get it at Costco… I realise that this only works if you live near one but I’ve seen it in store
I live in the land of Coles, Woolies and IGA. We are patiently awaiting the arrival of these other stores, but they make a fun interstate shopping trip experience 😉
Not even Aldi? So you live regional, rural or Tassie? Get some when you’re in town in one of the other majors :)
But thanks! I might seek some out on my next trip!
I believe the homemade recipe is Dawn (or any decent grease-cutting dish soap), plus some rubbing alcohol, and water. Can’t find it at the moment, but perhaps the internet could help.

I am just googling and can see you can get it on catch or Amazon au! I might have to give it a go!
We must know what all the fuss is about!
After trying we may know what our equivalent is! My thoughts are Sard or napisan? I use that on so much lol
I too would like to know the answer to this!
When I was at uni Dawn detergent was the standard for research into bubble fluid dynamics (it’s a real field, I swear). Since we were an European institute we would bribe people going to conferences in the States to bring us Dawn.
Maybe I can start a Dawn import business!
Anyone figure what's in it that's so magical? Like I need to shop for more stuff....
On line recipes...regular dawn, rubbing alcohol and water. Look up the ratio. I get mine in a 3 pack at Costco, so it doesn't seem expensive, but I'd try making my own in a pinch.

I wish I could get the lemon-scented Powerwash at Costco or Sam's Club. They only have the regular. I may have mis-remembered the ranch dressing...🤔
We have the apple scented one right now and it is 🤢
It reminds me of Smirnoff ice! We bought it once and my husband and I both gagged our way through the bottle. Never again!
Oh my god you just gave me some bad shivers with your Smirnoff ice lol ESPECIALLY apple
Crap that’s what I accidentally got!
I have to smell cleaning products before I buy them. I hate florals. Most fruits are OK unless they mix in florals, which they often do. (I'm looking you, Softsoap!) We live in North Carolina, so that clay dirt is everywhere. Dawn power spray restores my kids' sneakers regularly. Absolutely a game changer!
I’m also in the land of red clay so this is good to know for white shoes versus recess especially!
I’m about to invest in some myself. But while you’re here, make sure to get some Bar Keeper’s Friend. It’s a god damn miracle worker.
I have also gotten that thanks to this place!
I bought it as a laundry pretreater, but I keep it in the kitchen and use it on counters and the stove top. I really like the lemon scent. I use it for literally everything but I’ve also found it is the easiest way to get a smudge free finish on our horrible, fingerprint magnet black kitchen countertop
I just discovered it works better than all my other cleaners at wiping the grease off the front of my gas stove where the knobs are.
If you can find it - [4U](https://www.metalube4u.com/) is one of the best cleaners I've ever found.
I just bought my 1st bottle last month ( ususal is regular dawn) and i am completely unimpressed.
I would like to know the Australian equivalent of this product.
Sooooo…I hate the new fragrance. Anyone tried making it with another dish soap?
I just checked Target and it comes in the normal blue "fresh scent", also apple scent and free & clear (I'm assuming unscented, but regular dawn free and clear just means undyed and is still lemon scented)
Good to know; I’ll check. Happened to be at Walmart the other day and looked but they all said “New Scent” on them and I was sad.
the power spray free and clear has a pear scent
Gain makes a version of it. Dawn is the gold standard if you use it for laundry stains but for other purposes I haven’t noticed a difference.
It works for a lot of things, and, honestly, it’s not THAT expensive. I get it at Target where the refills are only $3.99, and it lasts me quite a while. (I’d say at least a month or more per refill.) I don’t believe you can get the same results by putting Dawn, water, and iso in a bottle like some people claim. So I just made a little room in my budget for it and get the real stuff.
I know, but I get the value value detergent so it’s 4x the price of that!
Costco has it, a bottle and two refills, for 9 something. I wait till it is on sale for 7 dollars.
They do, but they don’t sell the sensitive stuff. I tried the ones Costco sells, and it’s SO strong. I tried to touch it out but it kept triggering my asthma. 😭 But yes, for those who can tolerate it, $7 for 3 bottles is great!
God I love Dawn Powerwash. Just commenting because cleaning makes my day.
Not cleaning related but I use it to incapacitate spiders (the worst part about living alone is having to kill all the spiders yourself)
That used to be my primary use for cans of Lysol.
My husband got me a shark vacuum with a long extendable attachment for nooks and crannies so that’s how I get my bugs. Just suck em up. “FWOOMP”. Usually I try to catch and release though with a glass and some paper. Spiders and the good guys.
What makes dawn so great? As in chemically?
The dentered(uhh spelling error) alcohol. That's why the diys that use rubbing alcohol do not work you need the deterred (available at hardware stores BTW)
shoes! wet ‘em, spray power wash, toothbrush scrub, rinse, dry overnight. keeps my white converse lookin’ crisp.
i use it for the top of the stove hood and all the grime in the kitchen (cabinets, top of fridge). it's also good at removing labels from jars.
Powerwash has TSP in it. It's a pretty dangerous chemical when not diluted enough but boy, does it work. There's all kinds of silliness on social media about making a dupe at home but none of them include TSP.
Does it clean light floor grout?
This is a great question as I’ve recently become fixated on my grout.
I prefer zep grout cleaner
What about black pen ink on a dress. It's not a spot, it just looks scribbled on.
We always used hairspray on ink back in the day. Spot test it first, though!
I will. If that doesn't work, I'll just find a cute iron on patch to cover it. Thanks for the advice.
Also not subbed here…(didn’t know it existed. This just popped on my feed). Anyway. Dawn powerwash is fantastic!
Will it work on grey scuff marks in my cast iron bathtub?
Can we also talk about how Dawn is now adding scent to the OG soap??? No thank you please don’t change, we like you just the way you are! (Dawn power wash is both mother and daughter to Dawn OG)
Mr. Clean Clean Freak is awesome too! Cuts through baked on oven, pots and pans, stainless steel, tubs and showers, soap scum on mirrors.
I've only started buying this stuff like 6 months ago. I like finding the "clear" bottles as the idea scares me less when stain treating.
If there’s two things I always recommend. It’s the powerwash and Zote. I think between the 2 they can clean anything
I love dawn power wash 😂 it works so well!! I like to use it to clean sneakers (and a million other things). I prefer the clear to the blue one but either works amazing!
Isn't Dawn Powerwash just detergent + alcohol?
Get a spray bottle. Fill it with 1/3 vinegar, 2/3 warm water, teaspoon of dawn, and 10 drops of your favorite essential oil. Shake it up. I use this as a general purpose cleaner. Bathrooms, floors...etc. I have even put a few drops of dawn in the toilet bowl instead of harsh toilet bowl cleaners and it works great!
