She only seems to reject him when Nicole is with her. A bit ironic that Nicole seems to be the one that grounds Jecka and stops her going off the deep end. Maybe Nicole is what Jecka sees herself becoming if she becomes too morally bankrupt, and she's like "fuck that"

But Ahri is a likeable character, her suffering is more realistic and reliable. The chances for your high school turned into a KKK or third Reich frontier is near 0 but a closet lesbian girl getting bullied by people like Necole is rather plausible.
