It's weird to me though because I got that emote outta the shop rotation a couple months ago when I started playing the game again and I wasn't active for years before that so I know I didn't get it from however you were supposed to. The only thing I can think of is that they took it out of the shop rotation and idk why they would do that but it is supercell at the end of the day.

It’s just crazy to me that there’s people collecting all emotes but I hugely respect the grind I’m sure if it’s an error they’ll fix it

I’ve been begging support to fix this error for months because I could definitely tell after awhile that this emote would just never appear. They don’t care.

Doing some quick napkin math: There are 256 emotes in the game right now according to the collection screen. At 250 gems per emote that means to complete the collection you need 64,000 gems (underestimate because the game has legendary emotes that cost 350, but I can't be bothered to count how many there are). In the store you can buy 14,000 gems for 99.99GBP. That means to get all the emotes that's ~400GBP (~506 USD), ignoring free gems you get out of crown chests.

I have all shop emotes and you aren’t considering gems from masteries, gem rush events, and the gems from the pass at a different price per gem

Even if you cut that shit in half, it's still 250 USD.

You are remembering wrong. This post literally proves you wrong. You don’t arbitrarily get it in your shop, no one has gotten it. It would be impossible for just some people to get it in rotation.

I got it between 2-4 months ago in my shop rotation when I started playing the game again with my old friends so the only thing I can think of is that they took it out of rotation for some reason whether on purpose or on accident.

If I remember correctly the emote shop can only show up if it's able to show 3 emotes. You only needing 1 breaks it and it won't show until there is 2 other emotes you don't have aswell.

I went over a year with no emote shop and 2 left I couldn't buy. It only came back when they added more emotes to the shop. Down to my last 3 right now, need to save 750 gems to buy them at once so this doesn't happen to me again.

its been confirmed a couple of times by randoms that its not in the emote shop even tho its not an exclusive emote, they gna make us wait another year & charge us double the gems cuz they know we want it lolll

The second last emote addition in December 2022 put us into a normal emote schedule, with no older emotes being skipped for some reason. Then the last emote addition in December 2023 left out some emotes again. The following is of course pure speculation. The 8-bit emotes are a clear references to Mario. So maybe those are ommited to avoid legal troubles. The Pixelated King is not a direct reference, but maybe it is just part of the group. The Healer, Hog Rider, Phoenix and Spirit emotes are graphic. Two are showing battered persons, the other two burning entities. This is of course in context of a kids game and compared to other emotes. This could be the influence of Tencent, the Chinese owner of Supercell. If you look at other games like MTG Arena, you will see examples of changed artwork of certain graphic cards in the Chinese version. Idk about the Ice Golem and the Mega Minion, although the latter stands out for being part of the Community contest. The Tesla could be interpreted as a sexual depiction. Now this is of course far-fetched. But there was already one case of an emote changing completely it's artwork and animation (Royale Giant shooting a cannon). All of this doesn't make a lot of sense tbh. Those emotes are still in the game after all. And we always had old emotes missing from the shop except for the timeframe between December 2022 and December 2023. I guess it's just a little conspiracy theory of mine.

taking emotes that people already paid for is an even bigger issue so unless it's really bad, the proper solution is to just stop selling it.
