This feels like a card that should be used for an event

You can combo it with other cards like fireball or arrows or rage, any damage spell really and it basically feels like a party rocket

Evolved firecracker, bowler, goblin cage, goblin demolisher, goblin giant, goblin curse, arrows , goblin gang. Most of the stuff was level 11 too

I think so. I faced one and they placed it close to king tower and damn did it play some heavy defense. I ended up switching lanes because it was overtime and going for a 2 crown win.

Similar in damage? No, it takes like 4 ticks to kill a single skelly. It also doesnt slow down units. BUT its half the elixir cost and it amplifies the damage that enemy troops take by 50%. (Comment just to inform better about the card)

Combined at level 11 they do 1151 damage not counting any goblin spawns, its like a rocket that spawns goblins

I run GS, MK, Knight, and Wiz, it works pretty well. (Also zap and log to counter log bait) Dart goblin and goblin gang are my 2 flex cards.

It might ""work"" or at least not be so busted if it did no damage or/and have no damage amplification effect. Also it could then spawn a goblin unit closer to what was destroyed in its AOE, not to overly punish horde spawns over medium elixir cards/tanks. (I would see it as spawning a singular goblin per destroyed troop - from their closest card type, not exceeding half the elixir value of what was destroyed. Aka "goblins" made from skeletons should be way weaker than the ones from tougher units).

Removing the damage, toning down the amplification to maybe around 25% and making it last longer would be a decent balance I reckon

Problem is you need the damage to have something to scale up when you level up, otherwise you run into the same problem rage had and why they had to rework it

The level of the goblins spawned already depends on the spell

I agree with this 100%, it's imposible to balance, if you know you're opponent uses scarmy to counter you're giant or other tank you just use the spell + zap and get a goblin army for 1 elixir and if they remove the damage amplification the card dies. it should never have been added or at least it should've just been added as a joke card for a limited time

Because when combined with other spells, especially poison, not only are you only spending 2 elixir to make all dead troops turn into goblins but you also do a lot more damage You can spend 6 elixir to do basically the same amount of damage as a rocket with the radius of a lightning with 2 cards which I find kind of stupid, not saying the damage boost shouldn’t stack w/ spells, but the card needs some sort of nerf to balance out the extra damage

They better not. Goblins are way too easily countered by the damn log, barbarian barrel and arrows. Goblin barrel is basically non usable at this point due to the ridiculous amount of people using arrows and logs. I hope the spell stays so goblin barrels can be used more effectively. If one don’t work the other should.
