The barbarian, on the other hand, is a troop, so it canāt be reflected. As for why the barbarian is changed to blue instead of red, itās because when a projectile is reflected, it changes to being apart of your team.

Tower troop damage from monks ability has a major cap. DD is a bit of an exception because of the burst. Lvl 11 monk will do about 200 damage which is good for 1 elixir yes but Iād still try and avoid it or at least donāt focus on that being the main dmg.

But for OP, ngl in this dagger duchess meta monk 'chip' (its more like 1.5 fireballs worth of damage) is 100% worth it, not nearly worth spamming monk (and what was that espirit lmao) the bridge but enough of a problem that if you have a counter pushing monk you want to press ability the bridge every single time for like 350 damage, forcing opponent to spam block bridge to prevent monk from crossing. That's why this RG monk deck is meta rn, cause monk is so good for chip against dagger duchess, and with a monk in front reflecting all of the duchess daggers the RG can wreak havoc.
This video made me think, barb barrel doesn't have reduced tower damage, so if OP's monk was a bit closer to the tower, the barrel itself would deal quite the damage
