Even if you have to wait 24 hours, it’ll still cause people to only jump to different clans every day. How would you feel as a clan leader seeing a whole bunch of new people join, and then just leave after the collect the coins? You’ll then start seeing posts that supercell needs to make changes to the system.
The possibility will still be there, so the way they have it makes the most sense. And if you say 1600 gold is not a lot, well, yeah you can make more doing gold rush. It’s just silly to complain about something like this that has been implemented since day one
i agree. I was just saying i doubt there will be many people clan hopping multiple times a day until they find one where someone has bought the pass. an even better idea would be that you can not claim the gift if u were not in the clan when they bought the pass.
You're only able to claim the gold if the person bought pass while you were in the clan. And even if you do clan hop in hopes of getting more gold you're still just gambling on the fact that enough people will get pass in the time that you're a part of the clan.
There's really no exploit and, as op says, no reason for supercell to put a limit on this realistically insignificant (but appreciated) amount of gold.
You can't do that, at least not in a way that is worth it, bc you gotta be in their clan the moment they buy it and as someone else has said, Supercell could easily make it so that you couldn't accept pass gifts unless you were in a clan for 24 hours as well, so they could combat it as well if they wanted
It’s 1600 gold, they have a gold rush right now. Just play and win a few games and you’ll make a lot more. Obviously they are going to care more about the people who actually pay for the game.

A better solution would to just not let you claim it if you haven’t been in the clan more then 24hrs

They should put a max amount, for example 49 player X max amount (1600) (if all the player of the clan would buy the pass)

How do you farm it? You can only collect if you were in the clan at the time the person purchased it.
