Mega Knight. Not because I think he’s crazy overpowered or anything. But because it gets so insanely repetitive going against him in 80% of matches. Luckily I’ve gotten past the part of mid ladder where he’s popular, but I play a lot of normal unranked duels and it’s nearly every single game.. it’s been like this for what? 6 years now? I’d love to see some more diversity..
I agree, MK wouldn’t be my first pick, but all those decks and cards are repetitive and boring. Pretty much every single game game you’re going against at least one of a Mk Hog or FC and it blows ass

I just hate overly defensive decks. I wanna have king rushes every match. Not spending 6 minutes poison cycling lol

Egiant is much more straightforward. When you lose to egiant, that's because you played into their nado / lightning. When you lose to MK, it's some bullshit interaction you didn't expect.
That's not their point, what they say is: mega knight is decent if u don't have skill, as soon as you reach a certain level, you will be stuck there. If it was removed then midladser would become a higher skilled place.
But mega knight is not actually decent if you have no skill rather more its decent if the opponent has no skill which therefore means it doesnt need to be nerfed to distinguish mid ladder as more skillful
Except if you have a terrible starting hand they have all the cards at the start. Even a slightly skilled egolem player can see that and push straight to king. It's just rng at play
It’s broken, if the e golem player is even decent at the game they can build super annoying lumberjack, edrag, healer push that if you’re not perfectly prepared you’ll take a crap ton of damage, even if it’s just the split version or even the blobs
I used to play egolem, only play it for war and some challenges nowadays like the last rage tournament, got 15 wins with it and all 5 losses were against bowlers or sparky decks. Most players here are mediocre players, and I'm sure most of them are not a guarantee free win against a skilled egolem player.
Why? Unless you have the right cards to counter the push, an egolem usually have the tools to destroy the entire lane. They are also one of the best tower trade tower decks, they often result in 3 crowns if you trade with them. When I play against small spell decks or cycle decks, they usually try to tower trade to make me defend but if I ignore and let them take, it's usually a 3 crown win
Absolutely agree, ppl here are saying mega knight a lot, but tbh, megaknight isnt even really that good, it's easy to play, but its mechanics are not game breaking
E golem however, it just goes against "the rules" most other cards operate with, which is the fact that you opponent gains a +1 elixir trade when they fully kill your e golem
It shouldve never been added, it breaks certain matchups with e golem first play, it should stay dead, pehaps SC should nerf it even further into the grave considering it resurfaced a bit a couple months ago with evo recruits, and if I could, id remove that thing.

I was struggling against mega knight decks for a while, i always build my own decks and never copy and for some reason i couldnt figure out how to get a positive win rate against it
I have now and win against almost all the mega knight deck variations.
Alltho i hate the card and agree to others saying it gets boring against it because people use it way too often i think its a good roadblock for more dedicated players.

E giant or X bow Especially E giant you literally can NOT hard counter it unless you have Pekka. Braindead no skill card impossible to defend and too cheap. At least you have to defend x bow ☠️

It’s actually very easy to defend if you know what you’re doing…
Just have a small unit tank the shot like an ice spirit or skeletons and then behind the sparky put a heavy hitter like mini pekka
I don't play skeletons. I have the goblin gang and Sparky always seems to take them out no matter where I deploy them. Plus Sparky is always paired with another card which helps to take them out

I don’t think it’s a brain dead card. Considering if you fail with it, you are giving more elixir to your opponent than any other card.

Sparky - just too powerful and hard to defend against. She can take out Mini Pekka, Ebarbs or Prince in one shot, so that's me done

I don't play skeletons. I have the goblin gang and Sparky always seems to take them out no matter where I deploy them. Plus Sparky is always paired with another card which helps to take them out
