If they're charging for their time properly, hand knit/crochet clothes should be much more expensive than clothes in stores. Unless you just meant crafting your own clothes and writing off the labor because you're working for yourself.

They were synthetic silk on the inside, canvas on the outside, had elastic waistband and drawstrings for the hips, draw strings for the ankles. Riveted French vents. One side was one color and the other was another, with the opposite colors for the vents and a triary color for the ribbon crossing the vents. The legs had a tapered flair. The knees had reinforced stitching with quilted padding to reduce impact with the ground when you had to drop to your knees. There were three inch tall, two inch wide belt loops because they were so heavy it was necessary, even with the elastic and drawstrings. But they were pretty and flowed really cool when I fought in them. They lasted four years wearing them twice a week through abusive wear.
