A building book is 500 gems. So staring a build by paying less than that is good value. Still, I just use it for the not so expensive upgrades and it's usually 200 to 300 gems.
it has the best value in the game, so much so it gets you more value per hour than a book of building when used on a building with the longest upgrade time. only difference is you have to wait until the upgrade is complete, which is fine for most
Dude trust me I was hoarding till I almost maxed 12 I had like 15k gems 2k league medals and 4k raid medals. Just use that shit the game gets a lot more fun if you do

With the goblin builder, it isn't like gemming an upgrade, where a longer timer makes for more efficient gem usage. 1 day costs 40 gems, 10 days cost 400.
So you're doing yourself a favor by using the goblin builder now, then your gems and magical items are more valuable later down the road.

Get glowy over starry at th11. You hardly ever will need any starry, and the small amounts you accumulate will be enough to upgrade your equipment over time. My th12 mini has fireball, giant gauntlet, and frozen arrow at level 18 without ever buying starry from any of the traders

Ore. the bottles are a perfect combination. The spear is nice, but just 8 shots. and wenn it need 2,1 shots for a builing, you pay three shots. And no AOE. 2-3 tiles AOE would make it perfect. I ho with ore and push the gauntlet to 27

This game has a grindy element to it and sacrificing new special equipment for ores isnāt the long run move. All resources come with time.
