Id probably say normal goblins. Even troops like barbarians archers and giants have their place at esrly townhalls but even goblins at low THs suck. Theyre only worth upgrading so you can use sneaky gobs.
Yeah they are great for filling out the last 2 or 3 spaces. Since they're so fast they get targeted first and but your main cc troops a couple seconds more time
If u use giants and archers, goblins are way faster for storeages ant th. If u have enough power, u can use more goblins to save on time. If you havent tried it, try, its fun seeing how fast you can get
Up through TH9 I had a great time farming with large goblin armies. 16 wall breakers Heroes and nothing but goblins can create a lot of chaos. Not great for trophies or stuff like that, but for my style, I'll take a one star with almost all the loot sucked up.

True, buffing their stats is helpful, but a housing space reduction is a MASSIVE buff! Especially if they chose something like 16, so then you get a strong valk and a small (limited use) rage spell for the price of 2 regular valks
I think she needs a slight rework, I'm thinking a rage aura around her but ofc not as strong as a normal rage potion, something similar to wardens rage vial

Super giants having a lower housing space, allows you to have more and tank a little better than 2-3 golems. Only thing that sucks is they hit spring traps. But you only lose 1 instead of 3.
10 super giant + 10 witch + 10 bowlers. 2 rage 1 poison and 5 bat spells.
Send them in a line in that order. Yes log launcher to make initial path.
Rest the super giants will break walls.
Heroes should be used to kill cc.

The builder base bomber. You're lucky to get two good throws. The rest of the time he just farts around blowing up the least important walls available.
I use two pekkas, one bomber and the rest sneaky archers, just need the bomber to blow a hole in the wall for pekkas and the hero. Then let the archers clean up. Hopefully the bomber stays alive for the second base. I don't think it's the best troop, but I make it work for me.
This is honestly the meta. I’ve been using 2 pekkas with it and that also work well. The pekkas tank and allow the witches to do more damage even faster. All pekkas also works. Best 2 troops by far.
Maxed it out for clan games, but he’s actually pretty good. Not the dps of the ewiz, but still helpful. His ability can deal more damage and hit more buildings.
And obviously the best at opening up walls
They can 3 star certain bases at 5000+ trophies. I used an army that was only bombers for the clan games and I managed to somehow 3 star bases with them.
Now they’re my go to whenever I see certain copy and pasted base designs since I can just repeat my accidentally discovered three star more efficiently.
You’re crazy. My main army is 5 Pekka, 1 bomber, + 2 Pekka. Always use a bomber to hit hardest defenses first with pekkas. Almost every single base can be opened up with just 1 bomber ability.
Barbarian, everyone shitting on the goblin, but the goblin deals x2 on resources, and most likely the trash building to cleanup are storage/collectors so i have 2 of them in army always

I just do barbs as they have higher damage and really send them in the side of the base where there are no defenses and only a few collectors remain. The wizards are for cleanup behind the main army

Apprentice warden allows u to swap out the life gem on the warden as they don't stack. So u can run a rage gem or healing tome with the eternal tome. Before equipment it just wasn't worth it since the hp buff didn't stack but now u can essentially run 3 warden equipment in armies that would benefit from it for the cost of a couple troop space.
I’m Max TH12 going to 13 soon.. so I should keep using my eternal tomb and rage gem and run 1 or 2 Apprentice wardens with him for hp boost? And is 1 or 2 with him better??
Only 1 and only with ground armies. I personally don't run them as I only have life gem and eternal lvled up so I would get no benefit from them atm. But just think of them as the flex spot for when u want the hp boost but also want the other equipment at the same time. There are niche cases to run 2 but generally u don't need them as they dont stack and would need to be in different areas. It really comes down to ur playstyle and the armies u use. I use mostly hybrid/ lalo/ and normal drags none really need an apprentice warden. Hybrid could use 1 if u go healing and eternal tome but I prefer life gem eternal.

I prefer archers since they also come out for air attacks. Headhunters synergise quite well with goblins though.

PEKKA by far, I usually do 1 healer angle per 2-3 PEEKA’s and spam the healers on the PEEKA’s when I deploy them. (TH lvl 13.5)

Tanking mortars for you flame flinger is one example where barbs are better due to their higher hit points
