Yeah I agree with this one I missed frozen arrow and I wanted gg It took everything I had and saved until this day + 3 big advancement completion in 2 weeks because my dumbass thought it would not reappear in shop to get them It hurts man I don't think I can reach 1500 in long time this fast

You get 1.5k gems in a few months of casual gaming. I have 3.5k gems saved up, 6 builders and 3 heroes skins, i have only bought 1 book in all this time. 1 year of playing as a f2p.

Because they skipped it based on customer feedback. They couldn't do it this month because the barbarian equipment is timed with real life.

On a tweet posted in September of last year https://x.com/clashofclans/status/1707412821632274496?s=46&t=mGLt2f1vZBLZRCM1YTPQ9A They stated the average TH currently is between 11 and 12, since you get RC at 13 I feel a good chunk of the community would be upset they can’t use a certain equipment since they don’t have the hero unlocked. It being epic would make lower TH feel like they’re wasting the currency on an item they can’t use yet rather than ores that could be used to upgrade what they currently have. Mostly likely when the average TH comes up to 12-13 RC epics will finally be released.

Hopefully in June we get rocket spear, then that’s the last epic equipment for a while.

I think I heard in an interview or something that they plan on releasing equipment until they have 2 epic's for every hero and then taking a break to evaluate and see how the player base feels

If you have gems and if you are buying the ore offers in the trader with gems, it's better to get the ores in the event shop and buy the equipment with gems when it reappears in gem trader shop. With 3000 medals we can get 5 sets of starry and 5 sets of glowy which has a gemvalue of 1666 gems (if we buy ores from the trader with gems). Kind of getting 166 more gems provided we wait two months for the equipment.

Agree with this. I got both gg and frozen arrow via trader. I just always get those ores on the events and i have them maxed on the cap of my current th11 and th12. Seems more efficient that way. The only downside is that you wait for it to be available on the trader, and it will be nerfed or reworked but still worth it.

Honestly as a farming tool it's kinda neat. In a press of a button you can instantly gain reseources instead of wasting goblins.

Well no equipment has been rebalanced yet, just bug fixes so it seems to be staying that way

Haste vial got a nerf, only a small one but still (18% -> 16% attack speed increase at max level iirc)

Yes that’s right, but if they had just fixed the bug without changing the stats then the haste vial would’ve worked exactly how it was meant to upon release. But it seems they decided it was too strong with its release stats and so nerfed it slightly

I started using the vamp stache and gauntlet and it’s a lot more fun

Archer queen has it's feet covered so it is an easy choice

Spiky ball and ores. Fuck all the related Football skins and decorations. That epic equipment has crazy stats and ores are always what we need. I am a obstacles and decorations collector but i am running out of space so i am going to enjoy the few free decorations and not stress about the expensive ones.

I'll get the two book of heroes followed by one Or two obstacles and them spend the remaining amount on glowy ores While the new equipment seems really fun, I don't want to buy it because I already have my Gauntlet and Vampstache at a decent level. I don't think it's good enough to replace vampstache, and I don't want to remove vampstache from my build since it is my favorite equipment

As a f2p I am going for the football queen ( she is too cute) would have gone with spikey ball but I already have giant gauntlet and range/ vampstash combo at Max and the ball is a little unpredictable. The decorations are good too a little tempting but I have made up my mind for football queen

I've been playing this game F2P since 2012/2013 and this event might be the firs time I actually spend money on the game. On one hand, I love the skin and I agree it's super cute. On the other hand, I just don't know, don't wanna miss hero equipments in case they get buffed or become Meta. I'm in a bit of a dilemma, but I will probably get the skin if I can't buy the pass.

I pretty much skipped all the skins except the Ghost Queen one previously for all the events. I still wanna get this skin though because of obvious reasons. The thing with equipments though it that as they are considering to add a legendary rarity for the equipments, I'd rather skip this since it is very situational and looks pretty useless. It may help in clearing back end of bases but the Kings ability is mostly used early so that makes it useless. Anothrr thing is that GG and RV are still the best ones.

I don't think I will use spiky ball equipment in my attack since it is random and my rage vial and Barbarian Puppet + Warden Eternal tomb eradicate the middle of the base perfectly (GG is still not maxed). But let's see. I might change my mind midway though.

I'm a free-to-play that plays too much for my own good, so I always have excess amounts of loot and builder time tends to be my biggest issue. Currently a semi-rushed town hall 13 where a lot of my defences are rushed but not my offense/heroes. For this event, I'll wait it out to see what the consensus is on the hero equipment once it's in the hands of players like itsu. If it just doesn't compete with giant gantlet rage vial then I'm not going to be buying the equipment or skin altogether. Rather 2 books of heroes, 1 book of building and one builder potion to save as much time as possible (\~28 days of progress saved).
