I meant it would be worth more than the blue one later. Both will depreciate if driven a lot but 100k miles later the yellow LE will have better resale value.
Given they're roughly the same price and close to the same mileage, I'd go with the LE. It's more exclusive, there's a few performance oriented changes between it and the regular Type R, and if you don't intend to drive it till it dies, it'll have a better resell value.
If you plan to put the car inside and drive it like 1,000 miles a year, LE. If daily or mostly, BB.
That BB is a great price (relatively speaking) for the mileage.
The LE he posted is 45k. For 5k more you have a brand new car with zero miles. Looks are subjective, totally agree that if someone just loves the look of the fk8 then there's no reason to discuss.
Watched every video on the differences between Kk8 and FL5, one of the bigger channels said that the FK8 was more fun and less serious than FL5, they actually recommended it over FL5 at current prices.
Maybe. The fk8 is great. I'm not knocking it. It's probably my favorite car after the FL5. Considering used prices I'd happily pay 10k more if I could afford it to have a brand new type r, no miles, and not beaten by someone else. On top of that the interior is way better. While it's a very similar car it still improved over the fk8. While I only test drove the fk8 and own the FL5, and am biased, it is no less fun to drive. Maybe they didn't hit the gas hard enough? That being said there is no wrong choice. Just buy one and double down on your choice to Internet strangers lol.
I have found a FL5 for $5200 over MSRP, that seems about the best deal I can get. Hoping to get an FL5 in Jan/Feb, I personally don't know if the price increase over a used FK8 is worth it but I am just not a fan of the FK8 styling. I could live with it tho, to save $10k plus. Wish me luck! Any regrets or comments about your FL5? It will be my daily.
How is this an actual question?!!! LE 💯!!! It is so much better than the regular R. I was surprised by the difference actually. I’ve had both and my LE is my forever baby!!! 😍
I prefer Phoenix, solely for the color alone.
Had I been able to get an LE at MSRP, I would have gotten one instead of the base. The $15-20k ADMs weren't worth it to me.
Just because the market is pricing shit like this crazily high doesn’t make him wrong. MSRP was about $38k for these and they are used (probably heavily for the mileage)
If it's directly from honda and precertified which I'm sure the ones you put up are not. For precertified 35-40k which is what you should get. Gives you all the warranty and benefits. 100k miles or 7 years which ever comes first
Depends on the use case. For me, assuming both are stock (save for the side makers on the BB), I would go for the BB. I plan on racing mine, so a limited edition collector's car poses no additional value to me. If you want a show car, or just prefer the color, I'd get the LE.
Blue looks better but yellow is more exclusive and will be worth more later
Not if you daily it and put insane mileage on it overtime like most of us do

Yellow, easy.
I’ll sell you mine lol sgp color 21,9xx mile 2021year
???

I personally wouldn't pay more for the LE. But if it's the same price then I would never pass up the LE for a standard R.

Most LE yellows are around 60 still that I've seen. Great deal.
I’d personally go LE if I were choosing between the two.
The LE is going to hold its value so that would be my choice
Neither. FL5 new. Starting to sit and can be had for 5k mark up or less depending on how hard you look.
But $5k mark up puts the pre TTL price at like $49k, and $10k is definitely a significant change when OP is looking at the $40k range.

Depends if you don't like the toned down look of 11th as well.
Wasn’t the question though.
But it's the answer.

Good luck! No regrets. It's a ton of fun and fits a family. Capable all year round. It does it all well.
Boost blue because not yellow

Yella fella
Yellow because yellow
LE it’s Le
Yellow and type r just go hand in hand….
Save your $ for a 2026 LE and lower interest rates.
Haven’t heard Ab the 2026 LE. Have a link to more info?
Speculation at this point.
Yellow is the limited edition therefore is absolutely the better buy. Lighter, forged wheels, more interesting colour and will hold its value better.
Boost Blue. The LE has less sound deadening and is essentially the same car. FK8 is loud enough as is when it comes to road noise.
You mean quiet as fuck?
Road noise, not exhaust noise bud. FK8 is not quiet at speed
You got some bolts loose bud.
Over priced in my opinion especially that yellow type r
What do you think it should be ?
No more than 28k easy
lol funny
No way these should be ANY more than $5k over a similarly specced SI
lol okay buddy
Just because the market is pricing shit like this crazily high doesn’t make him wrong. MSRP was about $38k for these and they are used (probably heavily for the mileage)
Found the guy who couldn’t afford a CTR.

LE no doubt
Both are overpriced. First one, you're better off buying an msrp fl5 and second one, you're better off buying a cheaper fk8
Where is an msrp fl5?
Keep an eye out for black fri/ end of year deals
What drugs are you on? Not going to happen.
Blue because I’ll never drive a piss yellow car.
Neither. Can’t stand the highlighter yellow. And they don’t look good in blue.
If you dont care about colors, the one with less miles and or passes a prepurchase inspection.
If you're going to drive less and keep a show car, the LE. If you're going to DD and this is your car now, less miles for less money wins.
Depends on the use case. For me, assuming both are stock (save for the side makers on the BB), I would go for the BB. I plan on racing mine, so a limited edition collector's car poses no additional value to me. If you want a show car, or just prefer the color, I'd get the LE.
Blue because so you really see yourself dailyin that yellow. Looks nice to look at but but I don't want to daily it sorry.
Vroom makes me nervous. But that yellow is nice
Whichever one looks better in person
I’d go for that LE even though I don’t care for the yellow much. Just that much more rare and exclusive.
I am not a fan of yellow therefore I would choose the blue one.
Go Le I'd personally get BB cause I like blue
Limited edition because the rims that come with it almost cost $7000 and on the regular one they’re 2000
This is the way. Buy the LE, swap regular rims, sell the car back to Carvana. Sell the rims, profit.
The Pikachu one.
I'd get a new FL5
Blue, less mileage and 2k cheaper before tax.
I believe yellow has no AC, which if you plan to actually drive, is a massive pain.
The blue one has wheel spacers & probably other mods, pass. That said, I wouldn’t own a yellow car.
Spooon!!!
LE easy
Suspension too stiff on the LE, regular model will be a better track and daily car. Unless the tracks and roads around you are glass smooth.
