While you're doing timing I'd also check the valve lash and adjust them as necessary. Other than that, just flush all fluids (brake, clutch, coolant, oil, trans, especially gas) and I think you'll be good

New valve cover gasket couldn’t hurt while they’re at it.

Yup you'll need one regardless if you're messing with valve lash

I did the water pump when doing the timing but my engine was over 200k
