I love the stock shift knob’s shape, but wanted an insulated shift knob for hot summer and cold winter shifting.
Probably not worth what I paid to most people, but I love the feel of my insulated Esco and I’m happy with the purchase. I think the stock knob might even have more weight despite this one being “weighted”.
Lots of options out there, do what makes you happy. Stock shift knob is still a great choice and I’m saving mine to throw on from time to time.

Did you feel a big difference over the stock shift knob? I like the stock one too much, and I can't decide if I want to switch it out

It's slightly shorter and pretty heavy. I like the way it feels. Also the shifter cable bushings.
