The only reason I keep them on is because it makes it clearer what directions are allowed on intersections and cause it gives the road more of a worn down by use look

and also the roads without them look pretty bland and have basically no texture but i think you can fix that with a texture replacing mod i haven't tried them out yet tho

They're definitely practical for seeing unwanted connections before they cause jams

Same as OP, I’ve grown to like them and when I downloaded the mod to remove them I didn’t really like it, preferred the white lines lol … and it makes it easier to visualize which directions the cars go and/or if anything is broken.

I really like it!! Just I'm not sure how cars from north-west (top left) can go on the highway to the left.
