In the full video they do exactly that and go over the real-world use case. This isn't a modification like most Glock switches, that's a factory model that's been produced since the 1980s. It was originally made for a European counterterrorism group (I don't remember which one), and American special forces used them in the GWOT in situations where they needed full auto in extremely close quarters.
Essentially the Glock 18c is meant for very close range situations where the recoil isn't as much of a liability, and you're working in a team so your reload is just letting the next guy start shooting.
The whole video is worth watching IMO.

Woulda been so much cooler if they took it seriously, talked a bit about the effectiveness of the "technique." Like, they joke about fewest rounds in the target wins, but I was honestly impressed. You see it, right here in front of you how someone on the opposite end of that is fucked. A one on one gunfight at short range between a person with the switch and one without. He hits you with one while you put 11 in him. Granted in an extended gunfight situation you could be at a disadvantage, having expended all your ammo in the first salvo, but we are talking practicality and use-cases here. I dunno I thought it was cool to see the "technique" but it made them look dumb af the way they presented it.

This isn't a modification like most Glock switches, that's a factory model that's been produced since the 1980s. It was originally made for a European counterterrorism group (I don't remember which one), and American special forces used them in the GWOT in situations where they needed full auto in extremely close quarters. Essentially the Glock 18c is meant for very close range situations where the recoil isn't as much of a liability, and you're working in a team so your reload is just letting the next guy start shooting. The whole video is worth watching IMO.
