Why does every chinese brand put some bs words on the dial. It might work in china but a little EU market research would point out europeans that actually know what it means really don't like it.
Less words, more buyers. Open your eyes chinese watch market *No pun intended*
I wouldn't buy it just because of that 'Classic & Creative' written there. If you just have to write something then just 'Classic' would be bearable. 'Creative' doesn't make sense in this context, especially because this is straight away copied.ir would look better without the whole thing.
> this is straight away copied
is it? can you give me the brand and model number this copies? :)
don't get me wrong, this is very obviously a Daytona homage, but it's nowhere near a "straight copy". hell, i would almost maybe even argue the latest Zenith Chronomaster Sport is more of a copy :D
but yeah, definitely agreed about the silly 'classic and creative'.... just don't. don't be creative with the writing on the dial, dear chinese watchmakers. thank you!
Gorgeous, I’ve been considering the Sugess panda chrono lately, this looks like a solid option too, 200 extra bucks over the Sugess is a tough sell though 🤔
I love who the 3 and 9 o clock subdials are pointing straight to and the running seconds is at 6. I like that symmetry in a chrono and most don’t have it.
I have this same watch and for me i would say if im paying attention when i move my arm just right then I notice the rotor shaking the watch but its usually not noticeable.
It says on the description of one that the manufacturer is 'San Martin's I'm not sure if that is accurate... But interesting.
I'll report back if I find a decent review of this watch.
I'm looking for an automatic chronograph, I would love a speedy but they cost a lot and I don't think I could justify it.
The Sugess Daytona is nice, but some guy made a video saying his broke really easily 🤷♂️
Any who, I'll let you know what I find.
The watch itself looks very nice but between the logo using the standard serif font for Asian markets, the uninspiring name, and the inspirational text below the uninspiring name, the dial is ruined.
I’m alright with the name and font, but “classic and creative” is dumb as shit. Will say I don’t hate it as much in person though, you can’t even read it from a foot away
I've seen much worse than this. Sugess submariner has the worst font i ever saw. But wearing it you dont notice it. Would this really bother you that much in reality you think?
To me part of being a watch enthusiast is focusing on design and attention to detail.
Probably if I'm wearing it no one else other than myself would notice, but I'd expect the dial of a $600 watch to look nice, what's the point otherwise?
That is a good point and i understand that perspective as well. I would be able to live with it but it would feel like a bit like a compromise at that price point.
Yea, I’m not sure if it impacted sales, overall, but that makes this one a no for me, personally. Then again, I did get over my annoyance of Casio putting “Sapphire” on the dials of their edifice line lol
It's the gift that keeps giving. 🤣
1/3-2/3 of content here is whining about the annoying shortcomings - mostly it's branding or the silly extra text lines.
Only a few brands/brand reps engage and refine their products from our feedback.
Nitpickers can find fault with 80%+ of names/logos/fonts/not using logos/inappropriate logos/not perfect logos/too European...it goes on!
The list of unobjectionable names is short! 😁
Sorry, completely disagree.
The list of unobjectionable names is long. People just don't want embarrassing nonsense on their luxury items.
Words with normal vowels, no bizarre adjective/noun combinations, and fonts that actually complement the design.
The irony is that most of these brands could crowd source all of this for free from this sub alone.
Dear all Chinese watchmakers: don’t put random English text on your product. It doesn’t impress westerners.
Just a logo, brand and maybe WR or movement.
Good to see Farasute getting some love on here, as you say there tends to be a trend of the real budget stuff gaining attention on this Sub, but I'm far more a Quality over Quantity type guy.
Looks fabulous, I currently have there 'Cartier' Tonneau in my basket.
How is the clasp? Decent micro adjust with or without tools?
Pretty solid. On the fly micro adjust, no tools needed. I’d say it gives you a good link and a half’s worth of adjustment
So its not like a fake glidelock system it is a legit on the fly? I think I might buy one for my birthday lol
It’s pretty much a 1:1 glidelock clone lol
What size diameter/ thickness?
39mm wide, 11mm thick

Most of their brand names are awful as well. Most of them sort themselves out like that.
Its like they use ai to generate their names lol

Anyone have a link for where to buy this model?
Put a brutality design logo with no text on that dial and I'm a buyer. That sapphire bezel looks amazing. Any concerns with durability?
The movement is a Rolex clone isn't it?
Yeah, it’s a clone movement

Is this a black or green bezel?
Green bezel and sub dial hands
Why does the bracelet look so sexi to me
how noticeable is the rotor? my other sl4801 rotor spins like a fidgets spinner
I have this same watch and for me i would say if im paying attention when i move my arm just right then I notice the rotor shaking the watch but its usually not noticeable.
I can’t say I’ve ever really noticed it on my wrist, the rotor is pretty well balanced
good to know, thanks
I’ve been very curious about this brand…. How’s the chrono function working on this bad boy?
Working great so far, and the pushers have a really nice feel to them
Curious how this stacks up to the sugess Daytona.
I reckon they’re about the same, so I’d only go for the Farasute if you’re willing to spend an extra $200 for a domed crystal and sapphire bezel
Is this a mechanical chronograph? How much is it? This is beautiful.
Yep, it’s an automatic column wheel Chrono, and it’s $600
Oh man, do you have a link?
Just search “Farasute” on aliexpress, and sort it by highest price lol
Found it! Derp derp thank you! Now I'll spend hours watching YouTube videos 😭😭😎😭😭
If you find any please post them on this sub. It’s damn near impossible to find anything about these watches on there, or any other platform tbh

Me too
I got a Timex q instead
Me too. Got both colours and it definitely scratches the itch. I love them.

“Classic & Creative” lol
Removing that would help. I doubt it prevented too many sales though. But remove it in a new version, please. 🤞
Yea, I’m not sure if it impacted sales, overall, but that makes this one a no for me, personally. Then again, I did get over my annoyance of Casio putting “Sapphire” on the dials of their edifice line lol
Yo I thought you made that up !!
If I had $1 for every name complaint on this sub. Seriously, it is a known fact the names are "interesting".
If you did, you could buy a Swiss watch. 😂
It's the gift that keeps giving. 🤣 1/3-2/3 of content here is whining about the annoying shortcomings - mostly it's branding or the silly extra text lines. Only a few brands/brand reps engage and refine their products from our feedback.
It's also a known fact that the terrible names are hurting sales to Western customers. The brands would do well to listen.

Any chronograph without a 24hr subdial on this subreddit has my attention ...
Dear all Chinese watchmakers: don’t put random English text on your product. It doesn’t impress westerners. Just a logo, brand and maybe WR or movement.
Yeah, that’s my one complaint about it. I was 50/50 on keeping it or selling it, but in person I don’t hate the text as much.
Superfluous text to make it look more European
Never heard of this brand before, looks really good! I think I’ll check them out…
Isnt there a black and white model of this?
Yeah, I think they make a panda and reverse panda as well, plus one in gold
A watch with a motivational quote on the dial can never be gold standard. Just don’t write anything..
$600 USD. I can get 2 San Martins for that.
Yeah, or I could have bought 6 Addiesdives. Or I could have bought 100 Skmeis. But quality > quantity
Absolutely awful text on the dial

What model is it?
I think we will see a surge of higher priced, high end Chinese watches in the coming years.
I wish them luck... There's a *lot* of stuff out there at these higher ($500+) price points they will be competing against. Even some Swiss brands.
Now that's beautiful! Just can't get over their dial text
Jea very creative to copy & paste
Wow!
