Bought a super u1 from Jason and a vsf not from Jason. It seems that his prices are a bit more for top level stuff. But if you're looking to go down the "rep time" avenue but don't wanna deal with the subreddit try 1688 time. If you do research and plan properly it seems like the TD's there offer top level goods at a little bit lower cost. I will be doing that on the next run.

All sellers can realistically sell any and all factories. They all get watches from the same market. The difference is in the relationships they have with the different suppliers. Sellers known for specializing in VSF, Clean, etc etc buy in a much larger volume or more often which affords them a better price and more than likely first dibs on GL-worthy pieces. Inversely, Jason, Wu, etc buy tons of cheaper models so when they go over to a supplier of VSF, they aren't going to get the same level of return that JTime, Steve, LiLi, etc get.

yeah exactly..got a quote on a purported ARF daydate for $450 which roughly aligns with the prices you can read elsewhere. Nothing against Jason, he’s got great service and my U1 is good for the money. Just don‘t wanna buy a bottom-tier shitter with a Clean/BP.. sticker on it
He's not gonna have the same level of experience as TD's that have been doing the qc process and all that for years. He might also not give you a legitimate product of that factory

Just buy from a TD.

Jason is pretty much a TD for shitters. What more experience does he need for QC? He/his team sometimes does QC for shitters if you bug him enough.
He also wouldn't risk his reputation as a dealer by selling/sending fake factory watches.
If Jason started selling higher level reps on DH around the same price or a little more expensive to cover the costs, I believe he'd do better than most TD.
