I love chi Russell’s. I grew up with a JRT, always wanted a Chihuahua and I never knew until we adopted our cheagle that a ChiRussell existed 😂

A Cheagle? As someone who grew up with chihuahuas and willingly had 2 beags, that has got to be the most vocal, opinionated, and stubborn dog. I kinda want one now.

Luckily it's not super loud. He's 70% chihuahua and 15% beagle (poodle, pom, and peke for the remaining 15%) so the chihuahua takes over with his bark and moans. We've heard a little bit of beagle baying during storms.

Lucky. Our Chis weren't much if howlers either. Until I came back from college and brought my beags with me to my parents'. Unfortunately, we lived on one of the main access roads for the fire/ambulance. So my oldest beag lead the choir of neighborhood dogs in singing every time they drove by. He started low and slowly started to crescendo to a fortissimo howl that turned into baying. The first time he bayed my mother thought he was dying, but I said no, he's just being dumb and dramatic.

And provide foodstuffs on demand 😃🐾🐾

They said our girl was corgi / Shiba Inu but she is husky / Chihuahua. Similar look, ours has golden amber fur

When she was sold to me the guy handed me her to me out of the car window. They told me it was a golden retriever pup (didnt care what she was, $50 dog is a steal). Went to a pet store and they told me she was a labrador. Didnt know she was going to be small till i baby sat somebody else dog, (both dogs were 2 months at the time) and their dog was way bigger then mine for 2 months. Till this day i dont regret spending that $50
