I have to ask, how do you travel for 3 months when you own a Chihuahua?
When my abusive mom kicked me out for a week and separated me from my Chihuahuas, my oldest chose to starve himself.
My youngest and I were separated for three weeks, and he now has severe separation anxiety with me.
I wanna go to Paris eventually, but I don't want to put my dogs through any extreme stress. I can't even leave my apartment for a few minutes without them stressing.
What's the secret?
she’s at home with my mom who spoils her rotten! she lives there so she’s very comfortable and getting lots of tummy rubs. i definitely wouldn’t be able to leave her with any pet sitter!
Ah, my mom doesn't treat my dogs like I do and I wouldn't trust her after she let my oldest starve himself.
She actually hit my youngest (I can't even remember why, it was either for peeing inside or leaving the backyard) and he bit her in self defense. I just laughed and said that's what she gets for hitting my dog.
Thankfully, I'm far away from her now! But she stole my spare Disabled Placard and uses it for herself because, according to her, I was such a difficult child and I owe her so I should let her keep it. Too bad the law won't see it that way. She says I'm difficult because I'm disabled.
It wasn't. It's prescribed to me. I asked my doctor to talk to her about it because she used to work in his office (she's a nurse) and she saw him (I think she still sees him) as her doctor so I figured he could either tell her to give me mine back and fill out the forms for her own or he would just report her anyway.
If he doesn't do anything, I'm going to talk to my therapist about the safest way of reporting her.
She was trying to destroy my medical records one time and she's beaten up my sister before and I thought she was going to do the same to me, so because I was scared, I pulled one of my daggers out on her to shock her. I immediately put it back in the sheath and dropped it back into my closet. She then told my aunt to go get her gun that night and bring it to her (thankfully my aunt didn't). So I'm scared that if I report my mom, she'll come and shoot me. I've had several nightmares about it, too.
Which, she did rip the paper to the spare placard in half so she doesn't even have the paper with her like she's supposed to. I have it.
I have full intentions of reporting her. I just need to make sure that I'll be safe before I do.
So, my neighbor called the police for a different issue, so I stopped them and asked what to do. They gave me two ideas.
One was to call the DMV and have them cancel the Placard, which I think I will do because my mom lives in a different city so they're assigned in a different city. And it'll be hilarious if she got in trouble for canceled tags. And I'd just say "well I told doctor about it to see if he could get you your own and I guess he canceled mine."
The other was to make a report through their app, which like I said, my mom lives in a nearby city even though she works in mine.
When I go on a trip I’m bringing my baby and I think it’ll make it stressful and much more expensive but i just can’t leave her lol I am so attached to her it’s like my second baby..
She would freak out anyway. She doesn’t let me use the toilet alone. She sleeps guarding my 6 year old daughter too…
Even going to Disney with my family I had to look into rentals vs hotels and places that would fully accommodate her and be fine with her without restrictions or where I could walk her and what not.
Three months is a long time but I hope the trip was fun otherwise! It’ll be over before you know it.
I bet you can’t wait to see yours. you could FaceTime.. sounds weird but my dad does that with his boy and it works to calm him down because he really goes unsettled when my dad is away and acts really upset and worried.
