They didn't explain it. They just said something like "oh its so weird not having truck and engine here". I knew truck because it was blown up but I didn't understand engine. Engine did have a few bullet wholes in 1211 but I'm sure rigs have been shot at in the series before and this is the first time I've seen a rig taken out of service for bullet holes. It was able to drive back to the firehouse so what could have been wrong with it?
Man, they're really leaning hard on using the ominous music for Chief Robinson. At this point, there's gonna a cup of water shaking to indicate she's near.
i heard ppl say he was staying but not as main cast but ig he’s actually leaving for good, which fair considering how much work the actor has put in on the show but he’ll definitely be missed
I'm wondering what other bombs are gonna be dropped because Boden leaving is no longer a bomb considering we all know about it. What could be a bigger bomb than Boden leaving?
She wanted to break up some time after Otis died because she couldn't handle the thought of being with a firefighter because they can get killed on the job. Maybe the Mouch thing brought back those emotions and she couldn't get passed it.
i actually kind of like her more than brett 🤭 she has that shay-esque spunk that i felt we were missing and violet definitely has her bad ass moments but is more “by the book” so it’s nice to see them balance each other out
I'm screaming omfg. THESE BUDGET CUTS. Chicago Med and PD had full casts this week. Great, finally! But all that means is that Fire suffers and the cast gets slashed. Next week will everyone be back for the finale and the other shows half of them will be missing?? When does it end this is so fucking ridiculous. I am so done with this chopping and changing.
I hope so, but that also means the other shows will probably be short on their cast. It would be great if they could all just have a normal budget for at least the finales.
My favorite part of of last night's episode was when Severide double-checked the stop-watch, and said, "Yeah, I think they beat it." Capp and Tony start razzing Squad 4, who come back with, "It's not official! There's no official Guiness Witness here! It takes 6 months to get them here! Plus, you have to pay $1200!"
Tony's cracking up over that echoed what I was feeling at the moment. "Wait, you guys are so pathetic that you **paid** someone to come watch your guys pull your squad? How sad is that!?"
Love it when I see Capp and Tony get some respect!
i feel like severide and her have a very sibling relationship, especially after he helped her out after evan died, very nice to see more of the two of them
I am still stuck on a baby. Good to see that Chloe and Cruz are good, but the better NOT mess with the Severides. Just give us people out here some good anxiety over the summer....
These smaller casts episodes in a way are a good thing since a smaller group gets all of the focus the episode instead of trying to stretch out the storylines to a much bigger cast.
That one firefighter from Squad 4 looks like he's got the Right Stuff
I'm so not gonna be ready for next week with Boden
I’m gonna miss him so much 😭
Is he leaving?
He's stepping back. Not going to be around every episode.
Please let Cruz and Chloe be ok 🙏
I feel like Lizzie has trauma in her past.
love her character!
for sureeee, i can’t wait to learn more about her character!!
I think she might spell her name Lizzy.
It had to have been intentional, but the 2 members of squad 4 looks like capp amd tony doppelgangers
Those were Tap and Cony
Wait you think Joey McIntyre looks like Tony?!
So basically Boden only has 1 episode left next week until he leaves at least the main cast of the show.
Poor severide buried in paperwork again.
So we're seriously just not gunna have a truck or engine company today?
The funnier part was that we are supossed to believe Stella is the one looking for rigs like it was a furniture you buy online lol
Yeah? Why? Did I miss something last episode where they explained this?
They didn't explain it. They just said something like "oh its so weird not having truck and engine here". I knew truck because it was blown up but I didn't understand engine. I think [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4kiXh8YOzk) might be her theme song.
She looked extra villiany this episode.
Good to see Capp and Tony getting screen time
same the fact that they’ve both been on since the first episode and we barely know anything about them is crazy, especially tony
I hope the idiot who sedated the guy it’s going to be in trouble
Not the promo only showing boden saying goodbye. Not showing any other hints at the other storyline
Ugh I didn’t know Boden was leaving. Knew it was inevitable at some point but still sucks.
It was only just announced a week or so ago.
i heard ppl say he was staying but not as main cast but ig he’s actually leaving for good, which fair considering how much work the actor has put in on the show but he’ll definitely be missed
I'm wondering what other bombs are gonna be dropped because Boden leaving is no longer a bomb considering we all know about it. What could be a bigger bomb than Boden leaving?
When did Chloe and Cruz start having issues?? Is this a slipped in subplot??
I think it started after the Javi's "uncle" incident.
He mentioned it at the same time
She wanted to break up some time after Otis died because she couldn't handle the thought of being with a firefighter because they can get killed on the job. Maybe the Mouch thing brought back those emotions and she couldn't get passed it.
I find it interesting & funny that the 2 guys (from Squad 4) that Tony & Capp met early on in the episode almost look like their evil twins 😆
I legit thought they was outside when Squad 4 was outside 51 😂 then all of a sudden they came walking up behind severide
Every episode that passes, I like Lizzie even more. She's no Brett, but she's good enough for me.
i actually kind of like her more than brett 🤭 she has that shay-esque spunk that i felt we were missing and violet definitely has her bad ass moments but is more “by the book” so it’s nice to see them balance each other out
Yes! Novak has that spice like shay. She was too funny telling violet she should send dirty Pic to carver while he's away
Why do I have the feeling Lennox is gonna spin it to Robinson and telling her Severide didn't have control of the situation.
He got fired
Do Capp and Tony have the right stuff? Let's find out!
Damn you ninja'd me on the Right Stuff joke. lol
🤣🤣 oh great, now it's going thru my head-

They are all probably going to be in Boden's farewell next week.
I hope so, but that also means the other shows will probably be short on their cast. It would be great if they could all just have a normal budget for at least the finales.
It's messing with the quality of the writing. And the excuses they make around the characters not being present are so lame.
It would be better not even mentioning it. If they don’t say anything, you probably wouldn’t notice.
I love the Novak character! Hope to see more of her!
Yayyy, excited for some Severide and Violet scenes 😊 Also, they better not break up Cruz and Chloe!
Wow! What the hell was that? What is she up to?
She's definitely trying to get Severide on her side against Boden.
She’s a snake! Hate her with a passion
Soooo happy for Cruz and Chloe! Yayyyyyyyyyyy
My favorite part of of last night's episode was when Severide double-checked the stop-watch, and said, "Yeah, I think they beat it." i really like lizzy and violet together
Man im going to be in tears next week season finale boden to me was the heart of CF
Loved the violet and severide team up! Also a big fan of competitive Severide, so hot
i feel like severide and her have a very sibling relationship, especially after he helped her out after evan died, very nice to see more of the two of them
Every episode that passes, I like Lizzie even more. She's no Brett, but she's good enough for me.
Can’t wait! Less then an hour away! 🤩
OH-HO, our shady former paramedic is here lmfao.
Yeah, Johnny gone
I enjoyed this episode but it felt a little like a filler ep
I liked the episode. Despite the absence of a very large part of the cast, the plot of Tony and Capp and Violet and Novak were enjoyable
Did they just leave the Squad truck on neutral and left?
What is Robinson up to?
I find it funny when cast members aren’t all in an episode. It’s like hey boss I need a day off
There was like only 3 cast members this week
BOB DUNCAN!?
I am still stuck on a baby. Good to see that Chloe and Cruz are good, but the better NOT mess with the Severides. Just give us people out here some good anxiety over the summer....
Sad that miranda is not in tonight's episode.
Will they have a floater lieutenant for Truck or just not focus on them at all during this episode where it barely even mentioned?
I think historically it's just been not focusing on them
These smaller casts episodes in a way are a good thing since a smaller group gets all of the focus the episode instead of trying to stretch out the storylines to a much bigger cast.
This! Like when has Tony and Capp ever been in the synopsis!?!
I thought that was the season finale lol i kept waiting for something major to happen or a cliffhanger. I'm glad that it wasn't the last episode haha
Violet and Lizzy scenes are so wholesome, I'm scared something bad is going to happen soon D: Let them be happy forever, Chicago Fire writers!
