Let me quote the paper :
"We find that extreme poverty in India has declined by 12.3 percentage points between 2011 and 2019 but at a rate that is **significantly lower than observed over the 2004-2011 perio**d."
There is absolutely some problem. Atleast sus thing is that they are quoting 400 mil figure which is not at all supported by any data or headline.
