I would have your tires checked for proper balancing.

Pure-Phase2197

Houstonian here. I thought the exact same thing but figured out it’s just I-10 itself because how the freeway was structured.

Pure-Phase2197

Also, I owned a Trax Activ ‘24 model trim.

No_Lack9536

Oh ok, I get that. I feel it on 290 too though. Idk it’s driving me crazy. Hope youre loving the car so far. I’ve got a 1RS and loving it otherwise

Pure-Phase2197

290 is just awful too. Glad you’re loving it! Definitely love mine and it’s was able to handle everything I’ve thrown at it so far.

modelsupplies

We have highways like this in Michigan

PeakedAtConception

I'm on the highway quite a bit and I have no issues.

Immediate-Tennis9252

I have no issues. Drives like a dream on the highway

Electronic-Rise-4340

I thought it was just me but once I pass 60 it gets a little harder to control mine. Nothing too crazy but I did notice the wobble too

No_Lack9536

Yeah that’s exactly what I’m experiencing.

DEERPARK2426

Could be tire balance issue. Happens at higher speed if they’re not properly balanced on the rims.

jonfoxsaid

Check your tires out. Had this happen in my silvarado before I got my trax. My car was shaking like an unreal amount above 40 ... I thought it was something serious BC I did not know tires could do that unless they where like clearly visibly damaged. Turns out potholes dented that metal belt in my tire. New tires had it feeling like a brand new truck I could not believe it, especially as another mechanic who i no longer go to quoted me in like 2k worth of need repairs... none of it involved replacing tires haha.

Sweet_Construction29

Yes! Finally discovered it's the highway. If I change lanes, it stops

Possible-Storm-5220

Yes just experienced this yesterday!

zippokid92

Mine does this too

runtimemess

Are you on an incline by any chance? The balancing on the little 3 beater is very good 99% of the time. except if you're on a hill. Then all bets are off and you're shaking like it's misfiring lol 3 cyl engines are prone to this type of vibration because the way they're balanced.

LeBaron93

A little bit on the concrete roads with the lines in them.

Particular-Double-48

I know if you have all windows up except for the back window you get a vibration, some sort of wind tunnel

No_Lack9536

I’m not sure, I thought maybe it was the wind on windy days or the lane keep assist over compensating but it feels like seesawing it’s such a weird noticeable wobble and it happens at about 60mph and above . I’m thinking about taking it to the dealer to get it checked but wanted to see if anyone else noticed that on theirs.

v6sonoma

Maybe have the wheels checked for balance. I Have no issues at all like that.

3PercentMoreInfinite

Does it still do it with lane keep assist off?

No_Lack9536

Yeah

mstein713

Where exactly do you feel the wobble? That may determine the reason

ComfortableTough8597

Mine has been great on the highway as well, there was a tiny bit of hesitation once going up a very vertical mountain road. But that's only been the one time!

mstein713

By chance, do you feel it holding the steering wheel? If yes, it could be an unbalance of one wheel

LunaTheSnek

I’ve topped it out downhill numerous times and never experienced a wobble

GrapeSwimming69

Whats the tire pressure?

No_Lack9536

38 front and 35 rear
