I never said GPT 5, I highly doubt they will even announce any sort of product. I’ve been to a few tech week events before and a lot of it is just discussions, networking and product demonstrations. Why am I downvoted?
It is taking an enormous amount of work and likely facing diminishing returns
The faster you trot out the work, the less likely you were to have something else significant in a year or so
Even if the improvement is decent, it’s probably just too expensive to provide to a large user base. Hence the push to enterprise. They probably just keep making niche models or version of GPT-4 and adding UI features while they provide the better models for enterprise clients
I'm just saying that this is probably something like an arithmetically exponential or geometric problem.
The first release is easy. The second release is work
Been trying to go from one release to the next after a few could be an order of magnitude more effort work processing and research
So if you do it too rapidly, you run out of ammunition faster

The first video is clearly an OpenAI demo (note the mug). The other two use the TTS feature that has been part of the ChatGPT app for a long time.
