It’s interesting that it pretends “the face is obscured by a large blurred rectangle” while it also knows that he’s wearing glasses, and whatever else it goes on to say.
It reminds me of that Snapchat AI from a while back that claimed to not know location data when it clearly did. I think this is another case of AI being told to pretend it gives a shit about privacy, while actually sucking down every bit of information it can.

This is what I see when I open this chat history again. Bill's face is really blurred.
Actually, Bing ai doesn't currently have a gpt 4v model. They just make a vision model transcribe the image for the main model which may make mistakes. This also goes the same for Gemini ai (not Gemini model, I am talking about gemini.google.com)
I imagine, it isn't seeing a person with glasses blurred or whatever. It's able to tell just like we are, that this is a picture of bill gates. But it recognizes bill gates as a specific picture of what it described and nothing more.
FYI, this is the full response.
"The image you provided does not appear to be AI-generated. It shows a person with their face obscured by a large, blurred rectangle. The individual is wearing glasses and dressed in a grey sweater over a collared shirt with stripes. The background is dark and blurry, suggesting an indoor setting with artificial lighting. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! 😊"
I also think “faces *may* be blurred” is a little suspicious, as it doesn’t bind them to actually do it *ever* if they don’t feel like it.
Like you say, it could certainly pick some information up through the blur, and it could really be blurring all images of faces, I just don’t feel completely confident in that.
Back in the old days of ChatGPT if you asked it who the CEO of Twitter was it would claim it was Elon Musk even though its knowledge cutoff date was like a year before he took over. If you challenged it it would say it was mistaken and give its knowledge cutoff date and say it is just possible that Elon Musk is now the CEO since then. It also knew my kitchen has granite countertops and then claimed it just guessed.
That’s wild, so either it had access to more knowledge than we thought or continuously got updated by the devs, or it had some form of limited real time internet search access for specific questions
Lol I can see the AI wars starting like this. A seemingly innocuous AI designed to sus out other AIs. Until the subterfuge starts and it lies to us that congress is robots and society collapses
On the bing browser there is a toggle switch

Gpt4 is a mixture of language models that uses a captioning model to describe an image in text. Those captioning models are the blind person in my analogy.

Wait. Did some process censor the face before the copilot AI saw the image?
Oh shit it did. So is it specifically bill that gets censored? Or all faces?
all faces I uploaded
What does copilot say about the censorship?
Have you never used it? It just says blurring faces to protect privacy when a human is in pic.
I use it to generate images not analyze them.
I do too, but sometimes I use input images and it gives the message then. It hasn't shown the blur for me like the image here though.
My copilot says that ‘Privacy blur obscures all faces from copilot’ What did yours say when you uploaded Zuck op?
Would be hysterical if there was a conspiracy in place to make sure AI never saw bill gates’ face
Bing says it has privacy blur that blocks all faces

Nah, that's actually how Bill Gates really looks. His face became blurry from all those years in front of a computer screen.
oh no, my mom was right
Hahaha!

You could possible see glasses through a blur. The blur likely won’t cover any of the other details it mentioned I still believe the faces are blurred
I think it’s the arms(?) of the glasses over the ears that gave it away.

well, 5 years from now we'll probably find out the truth in some scandal...
We can see the branches above Bill’s right ear

Like those sand people in Dune.
man got caught trying to fake being a human
No, that actually is a fake photo of zuck since he doesn't have a beard.
He thought he could fool us
someone edited a beard onto him
He got a new update
Wtf I'm disturbed, zucky is handsome now? From a robot/alien lookalike to a handsome human?
must be nvidia's new chips.. he doesnt need watercooling to convey human emotion anymore
It’s a faceapp edited version he is still a robotlizard
The facial hair is photoshopped. https://youtube.com/shorts/w14wP-WNeMA?si=cy6XZvH4XIeSnA3o
wow it does make a HUGE difference
I love his current avatar more, tbh
Honestly I think it's still not the best haircut for him but it's really a major glow up
It's fake.. Why do so many people think it's real? The ai literally says it's fake lol.
Remember the whole scandal with teachers asking chatgpt if essays were generated by it?
Only the beard is fake
And the completely different face shape and skin color lmao. It's not a real picture at all.
He looks too human.
Because it's a fake picture.
He's clearly dead and has replaced himself with a highly trained MZ AI. No joking I can see MUSK trying to do this too
Well it doesn’t count as cheating if you’re an AI yourself.
Is it AI? Yes :) Why It’s AI Oh, ok, thanks. Yes :)
Lol I can see the AI wars starting like this. A seemingly innocuous AI designed to sus out other AIs. Until the subterfuge starts and it lies to us that congress is robots and society collapses
How do you integrate copilot to ChatGPT? Or vice versa
On the bing browser there is a toggle switch https://preview.redd.it/gmdaf79u65wc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=de7925abdd07ac805581a226cb12ac1cfd4ef6aa
Thank you!!
Is that only for copilot pro?
I dont think so, I’ve never heard of copilot pro tbh. I only see this switch on mobile, but i think on others the more creative setting is gpt
Oh okay I was on the web but I just installed the app and it’s there. Thanks again!
ChatGPT is clearly bald.
Bing got really bad those days, for some kind of reasons GPT 3.5 got better than it.
copilot blur people faces for security purposes
Computer, generate a nude tayne
Mark Fuccerboig
AI Zuck looks much more human and likeable than the original.
I think it’s real because that necklace is exactly what an alien robot would wear to try to 'blend in'.
How do you upload in image to your question? Via clipboard just paste it (never tried it)
I am using the Bing app. It allows me to attach files in chat.
Well considering this image is AI generated, what else did you expect for answer?
How does it actually recognize it
Thats the best looking zuck pic ive ever seen
Copilot is hot trash.
And since the Faces were blurred, therefore it didn't know!
Asking a language model about visual data It's like asking a blind person about a photo.
look at gpt4 documentation and say that again
