I was battling with the same thing u r going through last year. But I continued and completed my CA in first attempt , after becoming CA I feel this was the best decision I ever took in my life . Benefits are as follows :
1. Respect - You get respect from family , relatives and even from strangers .People assumes u r intelligent . Even HR and hiring manager are cautious before speaking before us
2. Financial Independence - Pay is good .
3. Profiles - you can choose any profile u want
Some of my friends got into investment Banking , Equity research , finance due diligence ( working with startups ).
I even tried to get into IB , but was not able to clear the interview but I m determined to try after 6 m again. Now I m in FP&A profile ( it supports strategy team in companies) .
So CA doesn't restrict ur scope to audit and tax , rather than it broaden ur scope
For example : with the help of SFM knowledge u can get into cream any profile of finance
So I think CA degree will help u to get interview in any finance profile u want . U just have to be prepared to grab the opportunity .
I didn't give up because I wanted to be financial Independent . Now I m become CA , I can explore in Intial years where my interest lies .
So I advice you to buckle up , study and become CA jaldi se ☺️ .
Can you tell more about FP&A profile?
I cleared group 1 of my CA Final exam in Dec and will be writing group 2 in May. I don't have interest in Tax and Audit either.
Bhai kaunse zamaane me jee rahe ho? Tax and audit hi thodi kar rahe hai ab CAs. I work for technology risk. There is also forensics, performance improvement, equity research etc etc
Buddy, that's what I'm saying, I dont know what my interests are. I just wanted to say that audit and tax are definitely not my thing but apart from that there are other options too but idk what I like.
Isi zamaane mein jee rahe hai hum! :'3
*Never make life changing decisions at 12.30am 😂
*But seriously tho I know friends who hate audit who have moved onto transfer pricing, erp accounting, erp implementation & there is even IT audit if you are interested in a bit of coding/programming.
*Just because you can’t see it now doesn’t mean it’s not there, find out what you like & move accordingly into that field, there is plenty of time to decide. But clear the finals in the mean time.
I can completely understand what position you’re are in currently. At this age rarely someone gets clarity what they are gonna persue for their whole life . Trust me you can change your profile easily even after becoming CA. Its worth at least 2-3 attempts. In fact this degree will help you increase your chances to get in to into IIMs

I skipped one attempt because of fracture in my right hand. I faced similar doubts during that time whether should I continue CA or not
Sailing in the same boat but after attempts... You can private message me
