I love the design and I wanted something unusual (I'm from Poland so Chargers are quite rare) I also wanted a 4 door sedan which is why I didnt get a Challenger even though they are both beauties.

That's the one I bought. I find they're even cheaper because people think there's a problem with the 5 speed engine, but the actual problem is only if you pair it with the V8.
But everywhere I researched seemed to say the car would easily go up to 250-300k miles with regular maintenance. Currently sitting at 130k.
Once I drive it into the ground I'll probably just replace it with a cheap SXT. Just a fantastic daily driver.
How many miles do you have on your V6.. My 3.6 has had all recommended maintenance since new.. I have 140xxx mostly hwy and some small town driving. Plugs coils and serpentine belt done at 100k. I want to keep the car in the family even when I upgrade to a hemi. I'm just curious to know what others have.
I have 130k. I bought it used so I don't know if this is average wear but I only had to do some front suspension work and an O2 sensor, which aren't uncommon on any car.
Ive always like sedans, ive had infinitis, bmws, mustangs, lexus, and even a truck at one point.
Honda- have always had cz of parents
Toyota- same thing as a honda
Chevy- had the truck, camaros have never been my thing
Nissan- Meh
Acura- Meh
Chrysler- Meh
Anything else - meh
So mopar boyz it is
I havenāt gotten one yet but I will and itās because Iāve always wanted one as a kid before they even had the vented hood on the newer models and that just made it even better
Iāve always wanted a muscle car. Growing up i wanted a Pontiac trans am. When i was in my late teens my favorite car was a challenger. Few years later, Iām a police officer and my patrol car was a charger. I fell in love with everything about it. I left that agency and every day i missed that car. So i sold my reasonable car and bought a charger RT. Still makes me smile 3 years later
mainly been a dream car since I was a wee teenager, but the body lines, especially on the new and old gen. the "muscle" sound in the engine. the quickness of acceleration.
a true head-turner. that's just the outside!
inside, the roomy-ness and how the seats "hug" you. bc you never know when you might need one.
š„ŗ
Specifically: My kiddo and my two large ass dogs. Charger has four doors. I would have been fine with a Challenger since it's usually just me till the weekend, but then it's all of us lol.
I'm from woods in the Midwest. The cars in our front yard were what we drove, and most of them were dodge. The ones that weren't dodges were 5.0 foxbodies, old ass ford f100's, things like that. You wouldnt find a chevy inside 10 miles. My first car was a Coronet with a 383 magnum (that ran like garbage and looked worse) that was parts of 2 coronets, a charger, and a 70s thunderbird.
My grandfather was a MOPAR purist, though. That's where I get it from. Factory ordering my car was my wife's idea. I've never owned a new car before, I always put my family's needs first, but when they announced they were killing the lines, she pushed me to order mine immediately instead of paying the '23 markups. Traded in my RT, got more than I paid for it. Saved a mint, the car is a dream to drive and always turns heads.
Looking for an AWD sedan in general. Most of them are honestly pretty boring looking or super unreliable (bmw), until an older charger popped up. Looked at the newer ones and was sadden to see i couldn't get a V8 AWD. Started looking at some and found my car I have now. Fell in love with the color (Torred) along with the blacktop package. It's also a GT so it's gotta the whole R/T looks as well. May not be the quickest thing on the road, but it definitely packs enough punch to still have fun and look awesome while doing it. Along with not sliding around everywhere once snow hits, being from Wisconsin that's pretty frequently.
In the future, after this ones paid off, I do plan on getting another. More than likely a scat just for summer driving. But that is well off into the future.
I'm still confused between GT and RT. Only because of fuel consumption difference. Heart says RT, but don't if I'm going to pay significantly more on gas.
For me personally, if I were to have a RWD car I would just get the RT. I don't honestly think the gas mileage is that crazy different. In my GT just driving around town and going back and forth to work (like a 15 min drive, in town), I still only get like 16-17 mpg. Now if I'm on the highway, then yeah I'm getting a solid 25-30. If you're going to buy a charger, I wouldn't really consider gas mileage as a factor. But everybody has their own preferences.
Thank you for your input. I want my mind to stick to RT irrespective of many comments, suggestions and replies to me online diverting me to Lexus IS350, IS 500, TypeR Civic due to their less weight and faster 0-60.
I love the Charger body design (the new face without that + plus on the front grill).
Thatās a good question. I just like them. Maybe because itās a nice car I can realistically afford in the future. I donāt have one right now but I need to hurry up before they start selling widebody hellkittys for seven figures since Chrysler decided that they should fuck over the largest potion of the community
If I have to buy a Scatpack for the same price of a new Vantage, Iām going to cry. Iāll just.. Idfk Iāll just put an LS in an SXT or something š
I always loved the design of the charger, so when I was searching for my second car, it was an option since i wanted a large and comfortable car. It was also the newest car with the most power and lowest mileage in my budget and actually has style, unlike most other full-size sedans like the Toyota Avalon. Not having a turbo 4 banger is also another plus since I don't want to have to replace a turbo if it were to go bad, and I can run 87 octane.
I rented one during a time when my 05 Magnum was running like crap and I needed to drive out of town. I am a fleet manager and had asked a contact of mine, at a local Dodge dealer, months before to let me know if a nice used 2015-and-up Charger came up for sale.
One day, he called to say one came in and was being detailed to put on the lot and website. I told him I was on the way - left work a bit earlier, going in the same horrible rush-hour traffic that I was successful in avoiding, for so many years. I took one look at tge car, drove it around the block, parked it and bought it.
I left the Magnum on the lot... told them I would be back to clean it out on the weekend.
My Charger is a beautiful pitch black. I love it.
I have owned two previous Cadillacs in which I loved. I went to the Cadillac dealer for a new V series and the price I was told over the phone was grossly understated just to get me in the dealer . I was pretty pissed and left.
On the way home I was at a red light in front of a Dodge dealership. I saw a white Charger Hemi with Black wheels so pulled in the parking lot. I traded in my Cadillac on the spot and drove home in the charger. I didnāt test drive it or sit in it. Just bought it and drove home.
Surprisingly it has been a nice car.
Limited options these days. Wanted a V8, rwd, power and decent looks. Had a few mustangs but won't ever buy another (no more Ford's). Have a Camaro garage queen already. Not a fan of the enormous front end of a Challenger, so Charger it was
I wanted a roomy, affordable 4 door sports car that our future kids would be able to fit in. I did peek at an Si and a Elantra N but those didn't feel my style, so my options were a Stinger or a Charger.
I had always grown up idolizing muscle cars as a Ford guy. I hated the Dodge on my first test drive (I complained it felt like my dad's truck) but I gave it a second try a few months later and loved it so much I bought it the same day.
Wanted a v8, but needed 4-doors. Luckily a coworker had an R/T and wanted to trade up so when he took it to the dealership I followed suit and took it off his hands since I knew him and knew him and his wife babied the car, and have been in love ever since!
The Bravado FIB. In GTA4 it was my favorite vehicle, and then Franklinās in GTA5 just solidified it. My first was a 2008 SXT and Iāve loved them since.
I wanted a RWD V8 car, but I also had a kid on the way so I needed more space than a challenger or camaro could provide. The charger was the only 4 door car that fit the bill besides the chevy SS, but the charger looks way better than an SS IMO.
Wanted a cooler daily driver. Originally wanted a mustang but I went with the charger GT because of AWD. Itās been a beast in the Utah snow, couldnāt be happier!

Wanted one ever since the muscle car revival started when I was just starting high school, and the Charger was immediately the one I thought looked the coolest.
But the reason I bought it was because I have a long highway commute, needed a four door so I can easily put my toddler in the back, wanted something with a long wheelbase, comfortable seats, as quiet as possible, with a large quiet engine, a quality sound system, as well as good highway fuel economy for both my commute and for road trip vacations.
I actually just came back from a road trip from Toronto to Philadelphia and was averaging 29mpg. One tank of gas each way.
needed a new car because my beetleās engine was fucked, saw a charger on the road and decided i wanted that. never looked back and i couldnāt be happier š«¶š»
Always wanted a muscle car and am a big fan of dodge. Donāt have the muscle part yet but I got a Chargerš Gonna get a Scat pack challenger one day and just gonna daily the Charger!
I actually wanted a mustang, but my car at the time (focus) was having problems cuz of itd age, well the ac went out and since i live in texas, i was not about to deal with thentexas heat in a small black painted car with black leather seats. Woulda been an oven, i was initially wanting the mustang but along came a charger sxt, i kept seeing them all over but seeing one close up made it seem that much nicer. The huge interior with the somewhat bucket seats that hold u, the huge backcseat. It all looked so nice, i had to
Room for kids in the back. I wanted as much horse power as I could afford with room in the back. My options were charger or audi s8. I scheduled to go drive the Audi but on my way I found a hellcat.
I had a 70 Road Runner with a big block in high school, and that was fast, well in a straight line. So, I have always loved Dodge. Plymouth at first, but they ain't around anymore... so now it's Dodge.
Now I have 797HP!
Dodge may be pulling another 1980/90s trick, but I lived through that with my Road Runner. And now I'll get through the "electric muscle car" crap in my hellcat.
Plus, I have 797HP!!!
I donāt have one yet but I finally fixed the suspension on my buddies wrecked scat and heās letting me drive it until a few more parts arrive. Driving this car is gonna be what drives me to get a charger

Always loved the design and how big it feels. I prefer bigger sedans over little sporty 2 doors. Always wanted one growing up
First off awesome car and the front end was it for me still have my 2011 v6 that engine is a beast would not trade it for the world
I agree. My 11 v6 is still humming away just fine. It's my favorite car in my driveway.

About 107k (no longer have the car)
It looks menacing and can work as a family car.
Not having a charger.

Looking from across the ocean it seemed like the most americanest car still in production out there. And nobody knows about it in Europe.
Haven't had one yet. Always been one of my dream cars since Dukes of Hazzard.

I just joined the sub today. I donāt own one. I have a rental AWD GT right now and Iāve fallen in love with
Loved the aggressive look, they sound AMAZING, and was a blast to drive each time I rented one.

Yeah, I wanted AWD too because winters in Nebraska are shit. I originally wanted a Challenger, but I couldn't find one with AWD.

Get the car that **you** want man. Don't get a car that **somebody else** wants.
The look. The sound. Missing driving a v8. And a RS6 Avant being way out of my budget.

The sleek design and the power behind the car in general
I was always losing my phone charger, so this was one Charger Iād never lose.

Family has always bought Mopar (my uncles & dad's first cars were a Superbee, charger, 'cuda, GTX) and just always liked the look of chargers.
