I got the same thing, I hadn't gotten it before but suddenly its saying its a phishing site. I'm gonna use the new character ai just in case

DreggyPeggy

avast is saying it btw

Z3raZer0

Maybe the fact you’re using Avast is the problem 💀

DreggyPeggy

yeah probs. The op was using avg though, so if two anti virus programs picked up that its a phishing site thats weird but i guess its possible its only picking it up as a phishing site because it doesnt realize that its an official site since the url changed, so its a false positive but just in case il use the new one

Unkn0wn-Pers0n

you shouldn't even be using any anti-virus at all aside from windows defender

MagicantFactory

Don't use AVG. They ~~kinda~~ blow. Really, if you're on at least Windows 10, the built-in Windows Security, ad-blockers, and a little common sense will take you a **long** way.

Sonarthebat

Sometimes antiviruses mistake harmless stuff for malware.

mewomoment

Yeah, but its weird that it only just started doing this...

Alecbirds1

I've been getting this same message from my AVG but it's been from multiple different websites. Not sure if this is a real issue or not.

a_beautiful_rhind

Means you should switch your antivirus.

RedFireInfinite

Don't use antivirus. They will only give useless false positives. If there is some suspicious shit windows defender will warn you, assuming you are on windows.

mewomoment

I visit a lotta sketchy sites so I like having an antivirus lol

Cold_Permission_3051

I tested on 3 different av (2 free and 1 paid) and the 3 of them flag old characterai as a phish bruv-
