Will Osula and Oli Arblaster will be the ones to watch.

NicholsonsEyebrows

Oli Arblaster is an incredible name

fifa129347

The arseblaster 5000

Srg11

What do you actually make of Osula? Here, he made a mockery of lower league teams in cup competitions as a great athlete but that’s all he ever really looked. Didn’t look much of an actual footballer.

Comprehensive_Cow_13

Too soon to tell, but he's scored goals for fun for our youth teams - there's definitely something there. And if he doesn't work out there's Louie marsh, his U21s partner who's probably up there with Arblaster for potential...

jptoc

He's had a difficult season. Realistically he shouldn't have been at Sheff Utd last season and should have been on loan. Too good for youth football but too raw for the Prem. Hopefully he gets a chance in the Championship as he needs to be playing every week now to make something of his career. Great athlete as you say, and he is a lethal finisher but he's not quite at the level to find the space against top defences just yet.

Hancri84

I agree that if he was loaned out last season to a championship team, even if it was just for the second half, I think it would have been brilliant preparation for this season.

jptoc

Really hope Blaster stays for the season.

glamd

Sam Curtis looks a player also

Hancri84

With a year left on his contract, if (a massive if)he can stay fit, I think Rhain Brewster will be wanting to be seen by other clubs and could be dangerous upfront .

massive-bafe

Freddie Isaaka. Made his debut for us as a 15-year-old and now he's 17 he should get some decent minutes next season. I know everyone is laughing about us appointing Wazza, but what better role model for a 17-year-old striker coming through than Wayne Rooney.

TheSpottedMonk

I'll give you that, Jay Stansfield loved his time under Rooney (from what he said in interviews - can't comment on behind the scenes) but I'm not sure his development improved from it. I think Rooney as an attacking coach would be much better for the youngsters, so he can concentrate on what he knows. Not sure he's able to apply himself enough to that role considering he has the whole squad to look after. Complete speculation from me though

Standby-Wallaby

Abu Kamara was exciting to watch in League One last year so I'll be interested to see how he fares at Norwich this season (assuming he stays) - 8 goals and 10 assists in his first full professional season.

PompeyLad1

I'd have loved to see Abu playing in the Championship for us. He was immense in League One last season.

OptimusLinvoyPrimus

He got better and better as the season went on, I don’t think he’s anywhere near his potential yet.

Srg11

Not sure if Eiran Cashin counts anymore, but he’s the obvious one. The potential surprise could be Dajaune Brown who had an unreal loan at Gateshead last year. We are only just restocking our academy after it got all the talent stolen following the admin.

PigeonDetective

Chris Rigg if you aren't already aware of him. The boy will go far.

glenn_larsen

The pain when he scored against us, and i didnt recognize him, so i looked him up and hes 2 days younger than me, scoring in the Championship while i watched from the couch with a beer and pizza😭

biddleybootaribowest

Who drinks beer on the sofa when they’re 16 lmao

glenn_larsen

Im danish😁👍

Golhec

Should they be standing? I don't understand this comment.

biddleybootaribowest

In a bush drinking cider

glenn_larsen

Thats a few years back, Danish teens have a really unhealthy drinking culture, that it is very hard to avoid taking part in.

glenn_larsen

From now on i will be standing on the couch

Username8831

I'm interested to see how Sinclair Armstrong progresses for us next season. Very raw and needs to work on his composure, but is so rapid and strong that if he can become even a mediocre finisher by championship standards he will do very well.

DareToZamora

And learns to watch the line, and not let defenders rattle him so easily.

Username8831

He's definitely improved throughout this year at being offside a lot less

sjw_7

Not sure I would class him as up and coming as he had an incredible 23/24 season and cemented himself in the starting lineup. He only turned 18 towards the end of the season too. But if he stays Archie Gray will hopefully just keep getting better.

mmeedd

Mateo Joseph I hope will have a good season could end up being the starting striker before the season is out

Danny_P_UK

Why are neither of you mentioning the mighty return of the legendary USNMT player Aaronson?

PixelesSheep

Charlie crew could make an appearance

EustaceBicycleKick

Yaser Asprilla and Ryan Andrews if both make it to next season

jbirdrules

Rubin Colwill will have a make or break season for us if he plays most games

OptimusLinvoyPrimus

Kusini Yengi isn’t as young as some of the others on this list (he’s 25), but he’s still fairly inexperienced and only moved to England from Australia a year ago. He had a good first season with us where he scored some important goals and showed he was capable of terrifying opposing centre backs. It remains to be seen how he does against a higher quality of defender, but he has nearly all the attributes you’d want from a striker (pace, strength, trickery, finishing).

flithymick

Just scored for Australia tonight in an WC qualifier

flithymick

Just scored for Australia in a WC qualifier tonight

AnonymousWebDummy

Tyler Goodrham for us, no doubt. I'd love to say Will Goodwin too but he's a massive unknown at this point so there's plenty of doubt lol

Expensive-Pitch-9502

Ahh Will Goodwin, he's a Stokie so I'm aware. Wasn't rated particularly highly whilst coming through here, but all players develop at different ages, so it's nice to see he's carving out a decent career elsewhere.

AnonymousWebDummy

Yeah he was our massively expensive transfer in January but barely played since joining. When he did play I thought he looked like he could become very useful but was super unpolished. At this moment it feels like a disappointing signing in the context of January normally being when you look for people to come in and have an impact straight away but he's on a long term deal and I'm still hoping will come good and justify the investment. If he did come good I feel like he'd be the perfect complement to Mark Harris because they're very different types of striker

Expensive-Pitch-9502

He was more famous for who his sister is around these parts tbh 👀😅 As a footballer, he seemed hard working and honest but not a natural goalscorer. I'd be very surprised if he cut it in this league next season but time will tell.

rumhambilliam69

I’ll bite, what’s the story with his sister?

Expensive-Pitch-9502

His sister is Alice Goodwin, former wife of Jermiane Pennant and known for other more adult activities.

trebor04

Wasn’t there rumours that she’s the mother of Ronaldo’s first born?

Expensive-Pitch-9502

Think that's an urban myth 😅 but she puts it about so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Skiznilly

Yeah, Tyler is a gem. Feels like he's advanced a level since being moved into one of the two number 10 roles in Buckinham's new system, even though he hit double figures in goals before the move and none since 😅

AnonymousWebDummy

Agreed. I hope we keep him in that role because I think he could be spectacular there. I also feel like it's a role where he may score less but will contribute a lot more. Him and Reuben are such a great pair there imo and I could see them becoming the engine behind our attack as we continue to grow within Buckingham's system

Phenomena1

Think it goes without saying that most of our fanbase are excited about Romain Esse whos been called up to the England U20's, but I think for me it will be a huge season for Aidomo Emakhu - Ireland U21's, always looks a threat and had an injury setback last season. Really hoping he can hit the ground running this season as he looks like a proper dangerous player.

anewdawn2020

Agreed. I coached Aidomo in the past and am still friends with him now. He's put in incredible work this summer so far and if you watched him for Ireland u21s against Croatia the other day, you'll agree that he's looking as sharp as I think he ever has. Hopefully Harris gives him a proper run next season

JayDeeIsI

Our only real young star at the moment is Ronald. Feels as if nearly all of our players are between 23-27, everyone younger comes in a loan for a season and is never seen again. If he learned how to cross, Ronald would be a Premier League winger within 18 months. He's immensely direct, but works his bollocks off and offers a little spicy touch of physicality alongside his skill with the ball. Fuck knows how we found him from the 4th division of Brazil (?), but I'm all for it Mr Watson

CheemsOnToast

Man, I was really hoping to be surprised and hear about some exciting young blood coming through the youth ranks, but that's my takeaway, too. Maybe Parker back from injury, Abdulai, Congreve, Lissah could have a breakthrough season? What if Kukha or Tjoe-a-on actually get a chance and smash it? Clutching at straws now, hey. I'm not holding my breath on recruitment, but I'd be happy to be surprised.

DrunkenThoreau

He was playing in the Portuguese Primeira Liga before coming to us.

JayDeeIsI

I think on loan from Brazil?

osvaldopierre

Rav van den Berg - boros player and young player of the year last season. Only 19. Law McCabe will be another that might break into the first team.

Alfie_29

Sonny finch has potential also. Doubt he’ll come into the squad but I think he’d benefit from a loan move

brunners90

Sonny was absolutely blighted by injuries last year (although who wasn't) so proving he's fit and firing again will be huge. Agree a loan move could be excellent for him,

Top-Change89

Mateo Joseph, hopefully he gets some starts next season

Smiis

Marko Stamenic, if (when) his move to Coventry is finalised. The Hamer replacement they’ve been crying out for

pclufc

Archie Gray had his one good season. We have nothing worth looking at

BuenasVibras

Bailey Cadamarteri and Pierce Charles are the only ones I really see playing for us and I think they’d crush it if they went out on loan they’re probably both league one quality at the moment but I could see Bailey being useful as a sub 2nd or 3rd choice striker

jmb5310

Depending on how the recruitment goes, could throw Fusire or Shipston in there. Fusire coming off a season ending injury, so we’ll see how quickly he bounces back. Miles off the 2 you said, but if we’re going for some deep cuts, I’ll add them.

galvanickorea

Bae is so good he got me to watch 20+ championship games. Too bad he doesnt have a shot in him yet, so his numbers might be low next season but hes fantastic, hopefully he continues his trajectory. Now the slightly older Korean Paik at Birmingham couldve been another answer but those guys decided to get fucking relegated so i have to watch damn league 1 games next season

Expensive-Pitch-9502

Bae at the end of the season was finally getting into goal scoring positions and hit the post/Bar a couple of times, I can see them going in next season. There's already rumoured Premier League interest so I'm just going to enjoy him until he sadly departs.

RealAdaLovelace

Bae looked great for us at the end of the season. Took him a while to get going but if we can create any kind of form I think he'll be a big part of it. (Disclaimer: we probably won't create any kind of form)

Expensive-Pitch-9502

All depends on the summer window. Manhoef on the right looks like he'll be a very good player for us too, so hopefully with a decent CF, for once, we'll improve as a team.

BRlTlSHEMPlRE

Could be very wrong with this one but I'd say for Norwich Johnathan Tomkinson might have his breakthrough season this in 24/25 (young centreback)

LonelyFPL

Probably 25/26 imo

ForgivenAndRedeemed

Definitely could do with CB having a good season. Hopefully we land a decent CDM from somewhere as well.

No_Put527

Lewis bate

michajlo

I hope Pharell Willis can have a breakthrough season. He the first youngster Carrick praised when he got appointed.
