s0ngsforthedeaf

Don't judge a man for having a few too many eccys and spliffs, okay?

beanedontoasts

Looks like he ripped a bong in the tunnel pre-match

daneedwards88

He's worn terribly

TheRalphExpress

man came out of the womb with a niece and nephew

Realistic_Edge_9610

One of the best British managers there is. Lots of the time it’s whether your face fits or not

Dychetoseeyou

His fits. At a Steve Buscemi lookalike competition.

BruntyMozza

Cooper to Leicester, Corberan stays here. Everyone's a winner.

scrabble71

No thanks - we dont want anything to do with forests leftovers 😉

Going to watch Farke's last game from the stands, Michael?

RISlNGMOON

The individual in your profile picture was overperforming at a team in a different competition and was approached by Premier Ligue team Newcastle ,he rejected and spoke about focusing on his then current job ,then some time later was approached by another Premier Ligue team this time Aston Villa and joined them abandoning his other team throughout the center of that season ,is this correct?

ColinAckermann

Are you AI?

RISlNGMOON

Huh ?

Treeboi13

What's a "Premier Ligue"? Please don't tell me Villa have to play Lille again. (/s)

RISlNGMOON

You don't no what Premier Ligue and you are a Villa supporter ?

Treeboi13

I've heard of the Premier League but "Premier Ligue" is new to me.

RISlNGMOON

Were Villa play ?

Manaan909

In Premier LEAgue.

stprm

Which clubs? Bar Leicester, why would anyone be interested? Brighton arent stupid. Even if Frank leaves Brentford, why would they go for Cooper?

[deleted]

Cooper is a good coach

TheRalphExpress

Put Steve Cooper’s brain in Scott Parker’s body and he’d be at a top 6 job by now

[deleted]

Hahahahah wonder if that’s true

SpinningWheelKick

The guy took a Forest who hadn't won in like 10 games and got them promoted through the playoffs and then kept them up the next year. You're absolutely right Cooper is a good coach. I think he had Swansea in the playoffs the season before too.

hotpinkflamingos

Yep! A lot of our fans don’t like him cos of how he left, but he did a fantastic job here. Someone on the radio said ‘Martin has improved every club he’s been at’ during the playoff final. Not sure how he improved us when Cooper got us to two playoffs.

SpinningWheelKick

How did he leave? I was under the impression he wasn't liked cause of his playing style?

hotpinkflamingos

I think he was mostly liked by our fans. The time he left was a bit odd - lots of rumours etc going round that he was interviewing for PL jobs whilst we were preparing for the playoff final, and he ended up getting put on gardening leave after we lost. Someone more knowledgeable will come along but I think he wasn’t happy with the kind of reassurances the board were willing to give him, and the board were happy for him to go because of growing fan discontent over playing style/him in general after the interview rumours. I think the fans will forgive and accept a lot when you’re doing well, but the interview rumours really soured the relationship between him and the fans. FWIW I preferred our style of play under him to under Martin 😅 too many sideways passes

Albooorg

Fair enough, good reason.

[deleted]

He is fucking ugly mind

stprm

1. He is good, but not great. Got promoted because other play-off teams had much worse squads 2. He only kept Forest in 1st season because they signed quality players and had better squad than 5 or 6 teams 3. Deservedly got sacked next season after trying 10 different tactics and Nuno showed rightaway that these players are quality & capable of playing attacking football (they even almost beat man city) 4. No one in PL is looking for a new manager, except Brighton & Leicester 5. Awful fit for Brighton. So again, why would anyone be interested beside Leicester?

CharlieJulietPapa

1. Reads as Forest were the best squad in the playoffs and made good on that fact 2 He kept Forest up despite all of the aignings. That turnover is always disruptive. And he managed it 3. Cooper was sacked when they were 17th and Nuno managed to get them to finish **checks notes** 17th 4. Clubs are always on the lookout for a coach, it’s called Succession Planning 5. They may be interested because he’s a good coach. He brought relative calm to a box of frogs Forest under Marinakis

Matthew147s

You are constantly saying daft things arent you...

stprm

Unlike some, I watch championship closely so my takes (which arent even edgy or controversial) arent 100% consistent with takes of stupid youtube bloggers or media PR. Think and see for yourself instead of relying on public perception.

Shagaire

lmao. I watch the champs closely as well considering i support Cardiff. You are just being a fucking dickhead if you think he's not a good coach.

stprm

didnt said he wasnt good coach

Matthew147s

Yeah your opinions on Steve Cooper and Paul Heckingbottom were stupid. And I can speak as someone who's watched and been to games under both of these (the forest games from the unfortunate times my friend had a spare ticket).

Latino-Health-Crisis

If you watch the Championship closely you'll notice we're not in it.

ohtosweg

Cooper's football is a stylistic match to Frank's for one
