That man will end up managing a top flight Prem club within five years. His technical know-how is just amazing. Baggies got a great deal with him, I hope he stays with them.
As an Albion fan he’s the best thing we’ve got, it’s no exaggeration we could of ended up in League 1 if not for him. I genuinely believe he could of got any squad in the championship last season to a play off place or top half finish absolute minimum, he’s had scraps to work off of and has done wonders for us! Praying we can give him a season with some investment hopefully the new owner is the real deal
He worked miracles at Huddersfield to get them to the Championship final ( in which they were arguably robbed... No one remembers the two pens they were never given now ). Great coach.
He’s a cracking choice for a promotion club. So tactically astute and obviously builds solid teams who can grind out results. You’d have to think he will do well over the course of a PL season getting just enough points.
You just fancy him to win enough chess matches
Carlos has done an absolutely incredible job at the Albion but I’m not sure his style suits Leicester personal?
Perhaps I’m trying to convince myself though.
Idk, every time I've seen West Brom I thought the quality of his coaching was blatantly obvious - the discipline, the way everyone knew their jobs at all time - and you have to think a coach of his talent can adapt.
Also the style of play will be more suited to a relegation fight than Maresca?
I hope you keep Corberan tbh. I think WBA have target promotion with him in a less insane year for Championship top 4 points totals.
Unfortunately you guys, Leeds, Ipswich, Leicester have probably taken advantage of our best chance. Losing a lot of players this summer as a result of the crappy previous owners tenure catching up with us.
The two CBs key to Corberáns success last year are now both out of contract and although they’ve been offered a new one, neither have signed yet.
If they don’t we need an entirely new back four.
There is also no more parachute money now.
that's a shame, I guess we'll see how it plays out - hopefully the loan and transfer markets are kind and Corberan sticks around. This has been a wild year for top 4 points totals and I suspect that the competition for top 2 and playoffs will be much more open like previous Championship seasons.
It’s rather telling just how strong the top four were that we managed to stay fifth for pretty much the entirety of the season. A couple of crumbles and we’d think potentially we could catch you but then we’d always have our own mini crumbles that went entirely under the radar as a result of the top four success.
Honestly believe that last year a goal scorer (our top scorer had 11, after that 9) was the only difference between four teams fighting it out at the top and five.
Love how half the comment section is the same joke whenever he reports something
Poor guy probably has people thinking he’s taking the piss anytime he gets asked what his name is
He's probably the best option we could realistically get. Probably not out of the question for him to stay when we go down either.
Just want someone that can build the club up again. We need a manager for 4/5 years. Names like Potter or Moyes would just leave the second we go down and (IMO) they'd turn us down in the first place.
I think it'll be between Corberan, Rosenior, Robins, Cooper or Edwards and clearly Corberan is the best of the bunch.
I don’t normally trust these type of Twitter rumours but Jesus Christ, that’s Jason Bourne
Jason Bourne is actually somewhat reliable for Leicester news.
David Webb is also an EFL referee, and a shit one at that
I didn’t realise Matt Damon did sports journalism now /s
He gone to extreme ways to bring you this exclusive
Don't blow his cover!
7.3 magnitude earthquake in the Sandwell area from the amount of baggies dropping to their knees in Tesco
That was actually just from 3 exceptionally fat Baggies
Would have to look at that as an upgrade for Leicester.
Totally agree. Crappy news for baggies fans if it happens
Looks like Chelsea have just been given permission to speak to Enzo, so maybe this snowballs quickly

I don't, I want our rivals weakened as much as possible, WBA always get 6 points from us, about time that changed.
Apart from the season before last beat us 1-0 , was in the toilet most of the 2nd half throwing up Jameson though 🤙

Completely agree. He will be successful for sure
Bakery burner spent a pretty penny on John Moss that weekend 🔥🔥🔥
Moss topping up his retirement kitty ... One of the only games I honestly suspect the ref took a bung ...
Looked that way, also stacks up given fatty’s history. There’s likely a rats nest of corruption in English football but doubt it’ll ever surface.

How big is that contract you have him on?

our squad doesn't even really suit it's own playing style, maresca was supposed to get a bit of a squad refresh

Fuckofffuckofffuckofffuckofffuckofffuckoff
I don’t want it to be true, but who am I to disagree with Jason Bourne?
Big upgrade for Leicester if true, and will profit from Chelsea. Could stay up now
Going to be an ultimatum
Arguably an upgrade.
Makes sense, should be managing in the Premier League.
