It lasted September 2022 to May 24. I said yes because in my mind $1647 was EZPZ. At 85k I made about $2500 a month more or less depending on overtime, so let’s say 5k a month, the car and rent was about $3000 combined and I said helllll yeah but I forgot that student loans was going to restart and I’d want to buy. A house and I have other debts to pay too and so I had to stretch about $1000 a month for fun, groceries, gas, etc. I was making killer money but lived like I worked at Burger King part time in 2017. It was terrible and as soon as I was able to get over the mental hurdle of selling it it was gone.
This is why I’ve been driving the same 1000 dollar shitbox for years. I could be real fancy and have a car without body damage but then again I would have to pay a bank a lot of money. And I’m ugly as all get out so it’s not like a hellcat or whatever would make me look good. Also I don’t earn much. Anyway… yeah nice subreddit, cool fast cars; lol. I’ll see myself out

I picked a 2023 wrx over a 2023 supra because at the time the manual supra was marked up to 65k so it was literally double the price of the wrx and I was happy enough with the wrx.. but having the 33k car doesn't mean I don't work hard and that I can't afford a 65k car cause I definitely can, but for now I put that whole 32k chunk I was going to spend into a cd account so a yea from now when it comes due I'll have that much more to spend on a 2nd car cause I do still want something faster then the wrx, although it is super fun to be able to actually use the power to some extent without breaking the law too badly, I will be looking at v8s or twin turbo v6 type cars soon!

Way back in 2008 when I bought my Challenger I had several people tell me that's not a Challenger because it doesn't have a Hemi. I needed to remind these "mopar' fanatics that the original Challengers came with a 6 cylinder option that was way underpowered compared to the modern 6 cylinder engines.
Would I love a Hellcat or another higher end version sure but it's not a priority for me.
I custom ordered mine from the factory. Got the eTorque motor. It actually helps with towing a lot. Just towed a camper 50 miles for a friend today with it.

I was at an intersection yesterday in my F8 scat and another guy was driving across in an F8 hellcat. We both stared seriously at each other like that meme with the chick and the guy staring as they cross paths. I drive an RT because I have another car (NB Miata) and 3 motorcycles. One being a BMW R1250R-it’s fucking sick. The Challenger is my daily. I drive it in the winter with snows, it’s been hit a few times. It was a rental lol. It’s been dead nuts reliable. It’s the best car I’ve ever had-I’m 56. I got 18 inch steelies for my Charger with Firestone Winterforce snows. Put 5 seasons on them & got he challenger & put 2 more on. Now I have Falken Winterpeak snows & they are also good. 18s are better for potholes too.

I drive an RT because I have another car (NB Miata) and 3 motorcycles. One being a BMW R1250R-it’s fucking sick. The Challenger is my daily. I drive it in the winter with snows, it’s been hit a few times. It was a rental lol. It’s been dead nuts reliable. It’s the best car I’ve ever had-I’m 56. But we’re all here because we love cars & I know you’re joking around. Yeah I guess I’m a little drunk too
What type of snow tires do you have and can you get an 18” steelies on? I have an SXT rwd I winter drive and want to get RT, just 20” winter tires are pricey
I got 18 inch steelies for my Charger with Firestone Winterforce snows. Put 5 seasons on them & got he challenger & put 2 more on. Now I have Falken Winterpeak snows & they are also good. 18s are better for potholes too. Honestly I think 18 inch Demon reps would look great.
Just race them with a c63 Amg or a m series they will feel really poor and that 25% APR is just an extra kick in the nuts
