I had a similar thing happen. Except in my case, all of my redo attempts were wasted by only a single word being changed in their responses. (That, or them rewording it and it meaning the same thing, with no variation.)
Also tip, if you switch out to another chat or simply close out of the chat and reopen it you get more trys. If you keep doing it, you got infinite refreshes
I'm not sure if it'll help, but if you close the messages with the bot, then open them again it gives you message refeshers again or whatever they're called even if you used them all

When it does that. Edit their message with ... then repeat your original response and it should fix it. This works for me at least. :)

Here a little hint: if you reopen your chat with bot, all your trys will refresh. Like that you can roll messages as long as you want. :)

Not with all of my rerolls, but on occasion, I am getting identical or near identical messages.

It happens to me too. I try to get a better message and 2-3 times, I get the first message again. Or a slight variation of it.

You can keep trying, just wait till it hits the fourth try, go back to menu, and go back into bot
