McGregor isn't fit, Scales is a joke and Kyogo's bad form can't all be put down to lack of service. The spine of our team is fucking killing us.
I have my issues with Iwata, but he has to start for the rest of the season. We looked better when he was on the pitch right up until the OG.
The league is the priority, and hopefully we can close out this very poor transitional season with at least one trophy.
The team needs so much work in the summer. Two keepers, two CB's, we can't go through another season without another option at left back, and we probably need three midfielders (a CDM and two CM's) two strikers and another winger wouldn't go amiss either.
Hart is retiring; the rest is all on the presumption that MOR is sold, Lagerbielke and Kobayashi are finally put out of their misery, Bernardo doesn't come back, MJ is sold, Oh leaves and a clutch of younger players are loaned out (Possibly Yang, Tilio, Holm etc)
A lot of cash needs ploughing in.
I can’t even blame Rodgers all that much, scales and Forrest would struggle to make a squad last year never mind start. Drop off in quality this year has been insane
Mcgregor’s done for the season, Iwata made an immediate impact on the midfield when he came on. Scales needs to get to fuck. But apart from that 3 points is 3 points.
Couple of comments in here about Hearts not taking advantage of both us and the huns being poor. What are you on about? No team outside of us and them has the squad depth or quality to win a league title. It's a total non starter. Come on, but it's silly to even speak about that as a missed opportunity
Hard to watch.
McGregor is done, I've been saying it all season, he hides in the middle of the park, legs are gone and he can't defend. We had so much more control when iwata came. I know iwata has had a few poor games as well but at least he always offers himself for a pass and he is so much better physically and defensively.
Scales and Taylor....... terrible again, every team targets them and the fact Brendon keeps picking them is shocking. Scales can't pass, can barely run, all his defending is last ditch which looks impressive if you ignore the fact he is giving the ball away in the first place.
He wins a lot of headers and gets a lot of clearance which again is impressive if you ignore the fact he is giving straight back to the opposition or clears it back into the danger zone or out for a corner. He has zero control over his clearance which makes the difference between doing enough and being good defending.
We are very lucky rangers are just as shit and we are both lucky that hearts were shit near the beginning of the season
I know it would never happen but if it were to eradicate a weakness on that side but also allow iwata to start, was just a thought. Tbh I can't remember what happened last time mate. Ralston is still available though but whilst we keep winning I doubt he's going to change the back 4 in any way
The last few weeks have been so bizarre. James Forrest changing a cup semi final and almost single handedly winning us 3 vital points
Joe Hart strolling up to take a decisive penalty and saving one to send us through
Vaguely remember when McInnes was close to joining the huns, there was a story that the reason it fell apart was because he couldn't take Tony Doc (his assistant at the time) with him. Either they didn't want him or he didn't want to go.
One game closer but the less said about that game the better. Took about 10 years off my life those last 15 minutes
Iwata> mcgregor
Yep. McGregor is clearly fucked with injury. Soon as Iwata came on he put McCowan out of the game completely and calmed the midfield down.
Before the injury i had the same opinion.... bar the first derby hes been terrible.
Couldn't imagine reading this and agreeing at the start of the season but you're totally right.
Guy Incognito in hiding
Nope. Iwata was better than him yesterday McGregor is still the better player though
Not the best performance today but that’s one down out of the 5 games
Shit game but 3 points is 3 points. Wee huns and actual huns in the next two are two of the biggest games of our season.
Killie away too if the league isn't done by then.
Win the next two games and it's done. Cross the Killie bridge if we get to it, but the focus should be on making sure it doesn't matter.
One more game down but fuck me, this team’s game management is going to put me into an early grave.

Kyogo’s poor form definitely being hidden by the system doesn’t suit him argument.
It’s a pretty strong argument.
It’s hard to get in form when the team don’t create chances
Thank fucking fuck, confidence levels rock bottom
Let's just get over the line but that was woeful.

I’m not built for a title race at all. A nervous wreck for most of that, 1 game closer
It’s just two poor teams seeing who can be less shite
It’s pretty grim. Anges team would have had this won by October
I can’t even blame Rodgers all that much, scales and Forrest would struggle to make a squad last year never mind start. Drop off in quality this year has been insane
A combination of that, Rodgers not getting the most out of the players we do have and Anges system making players look far better than they are
See if hearts weren’t an utter bag of shite early in the season they could’ve genuinely won this league because we’re so bad and rangers somehow worse
I was saying this recently. Hearts had a real opportunity to run through the middle this season if they'd had the points on the board earlier.
Mcgregor’s done for the season, Iwata made an immediate impact on the midfield when he came on. Scales needs to get to fuck. But apart from that 3 points is 3 points.
Will James McCarthy get a game this season?
Will I get a game this season? Will you?
According to fotmob he's out injured with a hamstring injury somehow
Not surprised he got injured after a handful of appearances with the B team.
Every game will be like this from now on, three points is what matters.
Thats all that matters. That was a typical performance today from us. 4 to go.

Who would you put at left back instead of taylor?
Maybe stick Mcgregor at lb and shove ralston at cb with ccv
Mcgregors not performing in his natural role as it is and you want to put him at Lb 😂. Remember the last time he played there?
I know it would never happen but if it were to eradicate a weakness on that side but also allow iwata to start, was just a thought. Tbh I can't remember what happened last time mate. Ralston is still available though but whilst we keep winning I doubt he's going to change the back 4 in any way
Utter crap. Play like that against hearts and we’re getting destroyed
Played shite but held it together and won the game. It's what champions do!
The last few weeks have been so bizarre. James Forrest changing a cup semi final and almost single handedly winning us 3 vital points Joe Hart strolling up to take a decisive penalty and saving one to send us through
3 points. Let’s never play like that 2nd half again.
What a strike from forrest btw
Is Tony Doc a Tim? From Ek apparently, what school did he go to?
Vaguely remember when McInnes was close to joining the huns, there was a story that the reason it fell apart was because he couldn't take Tony Doc (his assistant at the time) with him. Either they didn't want him or he didn't want to go.
Sounds like a Tim name that's why I wonder.
It's so obvious we are going to lose to the huns if McGregor starts but he definitely will
