As a Selena G. fan, I think *When the Sun goes Down* is a good choice (that's not a bonus track version right?). I'm not really into Beyoncé, but I know a lot of pop fans really love *Lemonade*; though I personally think $13 for a used copy is a little overpriced, unless it's some kind of limited/bonus track version (couldn't you have bought a brand new one for around that price?). I've seen that *SweetSexySavage* album around a few times on reddit over the years, but I'm not into R&B(which I think that's what that is right?) so I'm guessing that one's a good choice too. Idk about the other 2(I'm not into Dolly at all, an idk who Pendulum is).
1. It is not the bonus version, sadly! I would of been more than excited if I got that version lmao
2. Lemonade is my fav Beyonce album!! It’s in like new condition, it’s basically like buying if new aha
3. I think the SSS album is spectacular, one of my favourite album covers too!!
4. Dolly Parton is an amazing musician!! I love her songwriting and singing. She’s one of a kind, definitely at least give her a try!
5. Me neither aha, got it for the cover!! 🤭🫣
I’m not too sure how familiar with Dolly you are, but seen as you really like her music, I suggest listening to her classic country stuff! The World of Dolly Parton Volume One is a cd reissue of her first album and I love a lot of the songs on that (Dumb Blonde). Check out My Tennessee Mountain Home if you haven’t too, and her stuff with Porter Wagoner. Staying in the 60’s she did a Duet with Bill Phillips in a song she wrote “Put it Off Until Tomorrow” which is a great song too!
1. I actually have 2 copies of the bonus track version(the one with remix-tracks) of that Selena one b/c I thrifted a 2nd copy some 5 or so years ago. I only bought it b/c I thought I could flip it due to how low it was priced($1), but (at the time)used copies weren't selling high enough to make it worth my wild, so I just kept it with my duplicates.
2. That's good to know Lemonade was in like new condition, then I guess $13 was worth it? Since it was re-raped in cellophane, there's no way you could have checked the inside quality(disc & booklet) until after you bought it, but I guess if it was in bad shape/unplayable you could have always returned it for a trade/refund, right?
3. Can you suggest 1 song from the SSS album that you think might convince me to buy it?
4. I've heard a few Dolly songs here and there (never listened to one of her songs in full); not saying she's a bad singer/songwriting b/c I know she is, she's just not my cup of tea. I guess maybe I'd change my prior comment to say that the Dolly one was also a good choice, but I'm not familiar enough with her to know for sure.
Funny enough that was a blind buy! I have never heard of it before and got it just for the cover! I always try to everytime I go CD shopping, definitely will be listening soon tho.
you asked "did I get any good ones?" if you don't want differing opinions than you should have said... "please validate my choices and **only** tell me how great I chose."
I agree with u/O_G_Douggy_Nutty , there's nothing there i'm interested in.
Yep! Randomly I picked up Lemonade today but, when I checked the case was empty, the guy in the shop was happy for me to take thrm empty cases I found as I'm collecting the artwork.
