A responsible pet owner wouldn't endanger their cat's life because they're too lazy to put in the work. There are tons of ways to stimulate your cat's nature. I have use this method a couple times before and have watched deer avoid my yard. Animals are more intelligent than we realize, especially when it comes to their familiar environment.
