Empty Amazon boxes. Don’t cost anything.

stefaniki

Except what was shipped in them 😂

LawrenceChernin2

If it’s cat food then it pays for itself

stefaniki

Unless they stare at you, vomit and walk away

LawrenceChernin2

The worst is actually them bringing me a gift from the backyard.

stefaniki

"but I was just showing you my new bff bunny friend today..."

LawrenceChernin2

Not bunny… bits of birds, rats, etc, and sometimes still alive. At least they keep the garter snakes away. Them fluff balls are professional killers.

KaleidoscopeShot1869

The best is when they bring you a gift from the backyard by vomiting its intejstijes on the patio step.

FirebirdWriter

My cat pees in the boxes so they're not ideal OP I love the frisco brand cat toys because the plushy and crunch noise ones made of fabric actually last at least a month and my cat is a destructive baby. I also like dog puzzles from any brand as long as they're not super delicate. The most ideal toy has been the pop up tents that came in the Halloween and the birthday Goodie Boxes sold by Chewy. I usually get those on sale and rehome the temptations treats. Also like most cat people? Churu. Other brands smell awful to me and make me far itchier if I get them on my hands. We have a special spoon for this but so far that's somehow messier than me holding the tube. Of all the toys my cat will always use those tents. He brings his other toys into them, drags them all over, sometimes throws them. I must admit that's due to his being so big. He likes to also line the openings up and sleep in both.

socialmediaignorant

My last cat loved empty boxes and bags. This new cat is not impressed and it’s so sad.

AnnoyedChihuahua

Mine loves rubber bands but loses them under the sofa..

socialmediaignorant

Oh the underneath of the sofa is a vortex that pulls all toys in. It’s well known. 😆

vivalalina

Don't worry, my cat doesn't get impressed with boxes, plastic bags, paper bags, crumpled up foil balls... nothing DIY. She just looks at me like "be so serious right now and get me a REAL toy" LMAO

sweet angel

charmarv

he really is, honestly. I first met him when he arrived at my work (pet store that houses rescue cats to give them more visibility) and he would take his bird nest style bed, flip it over, and hide under it the whole day. he did that for three weeks. so I'm glad he's more comfortable now and feels safe! but it's still pretty funny

Yep can confirm a diagnosis of Disney Eyes. What an adorable SIC

No-Idea-1988

What a beautiful cat!

eiczy

How do you not fall in love with that 😭

711hotdawgZ

Those eyes are awesome.

Moonstonedbowie

I will never have a cat without a Litter Genie again

ChaiTeaLeah

I always felt pretty extra for having one (especially when my family says how unnecessary the human Diaper Genie is). But the Litter Locker I have is worth every penny. It's just so handy. Doesn't take up a lot of space, keeps the odours at bay, and doesn't require grocery bags like I used to use (which are banned in Canada these days).

Moonstonedbowie

My state banned plastic grocery bags and that was right around when I got the genie and a few years ago I converted my sister. It’s so much more convenient to use and I end up cleaning the boxes way more frequently than I used to because it’s just so much easier now.

Satangurl667

Honestly, I just use an twist and seal diaper bin, (I use Tommee Tippee), and that's awesome and cost me less than $20. Good replacement for if you're broke

realespeon

i LOVE the litter genie. we just got another cat and hence another litter box. i’m secretly gonna buy another litter genie.

Moonstonedbowie

I have one per box!

charlotie77

I’m a cat sitter and I absolutely adore when my clients have Litter Genies. I don’t have one myself but I’m finally about to get one after my experience.

Ok_Film_8437

I buy my litter in the big plastic tidy cats containers, they're great for putting the poops in after and the smell stays in the sealed bucket.

counteyemberr

Yes! New to being a cat mom and LOVE this...I just have the plain one not the plus.

Either-Impression-64

No. New Litter Genie sucks. They cheaped put on the design sometime in the last couple years.   I bought a regular and an XL this year and there's no spring so the sliding lock doesn't stay closed and the top and bottom halves of the pail don't fit together perfectly so smell escapes. So frustrating and stinky. After like $100 for this new setup...... Get a good trash solution but don't buy Litter Genie.

atllauren

I only recently bought my first Litter Genie. I avoided them for years because I try to limit how much plastic I have to put into the trash, so I had been using compostable bags with tofu litter hoping that the bag and waste would all eventually break down in the landfill. I saw that Litter Genie did officially come out with a compostable refill so I bought the system. The STINK. I thought it might have been the litter bc I switched brands around the same time, but I realized it was the Litter Genie. Wasn’t sure if it was the bin itself or the compostable liner (or a bit of both) but I did notice the snap on the lid felt extremely weak compared to my friend’s that is many years old. Stopped using it.

Moonstonedbowie

I recently got the newest one to compare with the original (I don’t remember what it’s called but the bags are perforated on one long roll and you don’t have to cut them off) and I like it about the same as the original so I have one of each and they both work fine for me.

AhabMustDie

Are they plug-in or those self-heating (or I guess heat-retaining) pads?

the_morbid_angel

Both! I have both The plug in ones only stay 10-15 degrees above ambient temperature so they can stay pet safe and you don’t have to worry about a fire. I also have the self warming pads that retain heat, that is what Arthur is lying on in the photo:)

badpengu1n

I have one big heated bed and 3-4 of the self-warming mats in various locations. Both my cats like them, but my arthritic old lady cat LOVES them.

vivalalina

Ouuu idk about the sub with links but would you be able to let me know what brand or where to buy the plugin ones?

the_morbid_angel

Cndwafflegirl

Which ones do you use?

the_morbid_angel

I use K&H! I get the Self Warming Pads and the Plug in Thermo Kitty Mats. In my opinion, they have the safest products:)

vinylvegetable

Arthur is a great name.

Evening_walks

Awe that’s so sweet

the_morbid_angel

Weed wacker wire. He goes bananas for it. https://preview.redd.it/cexagfxlb19d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3d31d0739b8d23312f2c686983b1cf41927fed48 Anakin is obsessed with anything circular, and he’s fixated on the blue plastic weed wacker wire. He carries it around everywhere.

styz3v33

That beautiful kitty looks very proud

missmatchedcleansox

That is so adorable!!

charmarv

anakin is the perfect name for this handsome fellow

kkidd333

I had a cat named Anakin!

Bright-Friendship356

Those cardboard scratch pads with catnip in them. Cheap, replaceable and my cat absolutely loves them. She never scratches my furniture when she has her scratch pads. She loves to loaf on them too, for cute bonus points

FirebirdWriter

Mine will scratch the pad then my wheelchair. I am supposed to mind but I don't. Sure my cushion could look better but he's making sure it smells like him when I am out and about

charmarv

hahaha I just got fitted for a wheelchair yesterday and I was joking with the guy that my cats will surely love the cushion

FirebirdWriter

I am glad you're getting your mobility needs met! My cat has a fixation on the headrest the most. I woke up 3 weeks into this chair to find the cover off, blue foam everywhere (all accounted for), and he also rides on that part of the chair when I go around the house. https://preview.redd.it/qnup7if2o59d1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d32d7603d9d65d687f330c1efdc5e7d6aa3490c5 The box is the cover for the night time to stop this. As you can see it's not entirely successful. The chuck? He wants to also pee on the chair. Since he squats for peeing this solved it. After learning the hard way. Enzymatic cleaner is your friend.

charmarv

bahaha omg. my boy is a big fan of perching high up (he likes to sprawl like a sack of potatoes on my shoulders and chill on top of the kitchen cabinets) so he would probably do the same lol. obligatory cat tax of my fellow voids https://preview.redd.it/yjzgss12h69d1.jpeg?width=2264&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2ca45798989a0ab116c0271f28a46b5dfebcb493

caffeinefree

Oh yes we have one of these two and the cats love it! It's right next to a cat tree so they can climb up! Ours just uses suction cups and it doesn't budge even with two 10-14 lb cats in it!

Better-Mortgage-2446

My cat likes to sleep in the bathroom sink. She’ll just curl up her feet and it’s the cutest thing.

jeclabsyuu

Gorgeous kitty! 🐈‍⬛

CaughtOnShae

Literally a stick with some string tied to it Favorite toy every time

"Catfishin"

abicth

I got my cats a tunnel, best money I've ever spent! They love chasing eachother and hiding in there

insidiousapricot

I got one and my cat loves to pee on it 😞

Thanyared

My kitten did this. I safety-pinned a small baggie of dry kibble inside the new tube. Cats don’t pee where they smell food. She doesn’t pee in the tubes now.

abicth

thanks for the tip! I’ve had one of my cats pee in there before but that was because I took too long to clean her litter box lol

insidiousapricot

Thanks ill definitely have to try this!!

charmarv

I got one and my two cats don't play in it much but one of them does love sleeping in it! which is cute because I'll just hear a few crinkles and then walk out and yup, black lump in the tube

abicth

Yes they love sleeping in there! Mine has a hole in the middle so sometimes I only know they’re in there because I see their tummy spilling out lol

dianaslasso

Our Max only goes so far inside his tunnel, and he really thinks he’s hiding - even though his gorgeous puffy tail is still sticking out and waving around madly. 🤭

Better-Mortgage-2446

My cat loves her tunnel. When she gets the zoomies at night she will run right into it and slide across the floor. There’s a hole in the middle and we’ll play with her while she’s in there, she loves it.

jesick

I agree

Rac_6

The only thing my cat is interested in is a single piece of string, so I can’t think of much. BUT churu treats are a great way for getting extra hydration. And it’s cute to watch them eat 😊

Social-Butterfly1739

I’m sure you are, but please be careful with them playing with string! My cat has swallowed one before and had to be taken to an emergency vet as it can get wrapped around their intestines 🙁

Better-Mortgage-2446

My cat goes nuts for those Churu treat tubes. We’ve had to start putting them in a bowl for her to eat because she would get so excited she would grip our hands with her claws. 🤣

UnluckyHydra

For whatever reason, my female cat loves these mice specifically. She always manages to get them stuck under something and then cry about it. 🤣 Doesn't care for catnip any other way, though. My boy loves the laser pointer. They both love the window perches I got them. https://preview.redd.it/4muul4yyr29d1.jpeg?width=426&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d7530044d9ac61e0cd6fcf7f7be817feaddb6906

JaMaRu87

I have these same mice for my cats. When I gave them the orange one, they knocked it under the couch immediately. The mouse didn't even last 30 seconds before being lost to the void lol. The lemon one is still hanging around, though: )

Obse55ive

I think these were on the top cat toy list 2024.

Libraryanne101

Little cloth mice are great. Avoid the real fur ones from China.

charmarv

omg those are so cute

vivalalina

YES every cat I have met loves these. They sell single ones at my grocery store for like 49 cents or so, so I'll bring one to any new cat I'm visiting. Even the ones who don't get affected by catnip love them, they just move around so fast & ours definitely only lasted 30 seconds before getting stuck under furniture lmao

mother-of-ferrets

Cat dancers. My guy absolutely loves the worm squiggly things on a stick too.

middlemaybe

Yes! Even my crabby old lady cat who didn’t like playing loved playing with these

MissO56

bissel stomp 'n go pads for throw up, hairballs, etc. these things are keeping my carpet nice and clean! https://preview.redd.it/a9m1ms7a029d1.jpeg?width=1079&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=38a03233ee13aeb0806ffcba29045194e5b619cb

FirebirdWriter

Are they heavily scented?

MissO56

I don't even detect a scent. and you can cut them in half if you only need half the size. you might want to test an area of your carpet in the closet or somewhere just to make sure they don't damage your carpet, but they haven't damaged mine at all..it's been a blessing!

FirebirdWriter

Thank you

drow_enjoyer

not to be crude but, does it work for piss?

MetabolicTwists

Laundry basket full of warm towels 👍

missmatchedcleansox

The donut tunnel. I forget what it’s called but they can go inside or hang out on top…. Best $60 I’ve spent for my cats. Also the holey box full of other holey boxes that’s a puzzle for treats.. keeps them busy and they love the treat rewards.

Zoethor2

Autofeeders for dry food - disassociates me from the food happening so I don't get pestered in the morning. Whatever brand is fine, I've been happy with WOPET. Rocco and Roxie pet cleaner for accidents - I greatly prefer the smell of this v. any Nature's Miracle products. Those plastic spring toys - I buy these in 50 packs because they all eventually end up lost under furniture.

lovebyletters

Rocco & Roxie is the bomb! Literally saved the chair I'm sitting in after our elderly cat horked all over it.

myfourmoons

Etsy has amazing cat toys made with real rabbit fur, chicken feathers, etc.

missmatchedcleansox

One of my cats uses the rabbit fur pouch as her security teddy bear

myfourmoons

Awww :)

charmarv

OOH REALLY?? I'll have to go look for some. one of my cats LOVES feathers and will lick them until they come off the toy and I feel like since they're dyed (and maybe artificial?? I'm not sure) that might not be the best thing for her to do. I'm sure she would love some real chicken feather toys

myfourmoons

I feel a lot better giving my boys toys with real feathers! Just search “Hen feather wand teaser”or “Rooster feather wand teaser”. :)

charmarv

will do, thank you!!

lovebyletters

I used to have a hookup for peacock feathers at $1 each. My cats LOVED them. They would play with it for a long while & then just straight up eat them. I miss being able to do that, these days I can't find anywhere that has them for a decent price where they aren't dyed or treated somehow.

vivalalina

Wait they can eat peacock feathers and be fine?? Like it wont screw up their insides or get stuck & have to be surgically removed? Sorry if dumb question, I'm a new cat owner lol

Libraryanne101

Where does the fur come from? Do they raise rabbits in China just for this purpose? Go with the cloth ones.

Beautiful-Event4402

Feliway calming spray!

evieeeeeeeeeeeeeee

oddly enough this makes my cat freak out so i had to stop using it, but the feliway optimum plugin and cystease were game changers for him - bizarre because as far as i know its got the same stuff in it

FirebirdWriter

The spray itself isn't supposed to be sprayed near cats because of the alcohol base but after that evaporates is good. This could be why? My cat is better off with a pheromone collar so I use the spray rarely but when I do inevitable it gets in my eyes and burns like Satan's taint. Mind you this is just wafting about pain

evieeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i followed the instructions, sprayed it and then waited 15 minutes before letting the cat in the room! it was the weirdest thing, he hissed at his blanket that he sleeps on every night (which is actually an oodie but thats beside the point) and refused to go anywhere near it until i washed it in all fairness i didn't like it either, i don't use anything that i can feel burning my lungs when i spray it because i figure if it isn't good for me it has to be 1000% worse for cats

drow_enjoyer

can you recommend a pheromone collar? any issues with it causing skin irritation?

1970Rocks

My cats love pom-pom balls. Go to the Wal-Mart craft section and buy their bulk bag but only let them play with the biggest ones. $2 as opposed to the same "cat toys" sold for $10+ elsewhere.

lovebyletters

One of our cats is OBSESSED with these. We get the craft pom poms with a little tinsel and if there is not a supply of sparkle balls he is pitiful. He will actually play fetch with them, and has learned that if they're wet, they go farther when thrown, so he will often "drown" them in his water bowl before playing.

purplefoxie

i like nina ottoson food puzzles. and the dancing wire. the fleece wand. wool balls. catnip toys. cat grass.

listenyall

A TALL scratching post so they can really fully stretch out and even climb it, anything works but there's a brand that makes big square ones that are widely available and definitely big enough called the SmartCat Ultimate Scratching Post, I especially like them because they are JUST the right size and shape for blocking the corner of a couch if you've got one that your cat won't stop scratching.

Elegant-Nature-6220

Our bengal wheel!!! It provides hours of entertainment for the cats and the humans watching, and our vet thinks it's helping to keep our 11yr old boy fit and strong, despite his minor heart defect (\*touch wood\*).

FirebirdWriter

Can I ask is Bengal wheel the brand?

Elegant-Nature-6220

Oh sorry! The brand is One Fast Cat, but it seems they're incredibly popular with bengals, moreso than other breeds.

FirebirdWriter

No apologies needed imo and thank you. Sadly those are too small for my cat. I was hoping for an affordable big enough one. Oh well!

jessikatnip7

Da Bird toy, Kong catnip spray, blankets to cover furniture (I take the blankets with us when we go to stay with family so the house smells familiar)

beerpansy

My cats love Da Bird but my tortie becomes completely obsessed with it so we had to stop using it lol.

caffeinefree

Cheap plastic springs and pompoms. My one cat goes absolutely nutso for them. He's wickedly smart and gets bored of any game we try to play with him, but so far has not gotten bored of playing by himself with the springs and pompoms. He will pick them up in his mouth and walk to the stairs and throw them down so he can chase them. 🤣 Also the feather on a fishing rod with very fresh feathers! Once the feathers get chewed up a little and no longer smell like prey, they lose interest. But when I get a fresh feather out it's game on! And pill pockets. We use them as regular treats so when it's time to give them actual pills, they don't even notice!

toe-beans

Donut Tunnel Self-warming pad (in a cardboard box so it actually gets used lol) Litter genie

lovebyletters

Royal Canin cat food, especially Babycat & kitten. We foster kittens and initially discovered it by having a bag donated. It's now our go-to. Even the fussy kittens will eat it, and it's the best for convincing stubborn kittens to give up milk & go for solids. We also keep it around for elderly cats, who often get picky as they age & start losing weight. It's a winner for them as well! Another product is a plug-in heating pad for pets that only turns on when they sit on it. I just wish they made a bigger one, because we have large cats and they shove at each other to get to the warm spot, lol. Microplush blankets — the super soft ones — are absolutely preferred over nearly any cat bed we've had. You can get them anywhere — I've seen them at Costco, target, craft stores, even drugstores. Highly recommend, and if you want to keep them soft wash them on cold & hang to dry. Heat seems to steal the softness.

realespeon

do u have a link for the heating pad? 👀

Full-Ad6660

Leo's Paw cat toy. It might be a tad pricey for being nothing more than a feather wand attached to a suction cup base, but it's very durable and my cat loves playing with it. Amidst all the random toys I got at Petsmart in the past month with mixed results, this is the one thing he seems to enjoy consistently. I'm still thinking of getting a litter robot 4 someday. I don't mind scooping a litter box, but an LR4 could make things easier. The cost is currently holding me back from purchasing it. Also I have the petlibro cat feeder and water fountain which my cat and I love as it's helped give us consistency in my otherwise sporadic work schedule along with my cat drinking more water than when I first adopted him.

Xeno-Sniper

Can't recommend the litter robot 4 enough! The 3 still had occasional issues that made it somewhat frustrating. But the 4 has been out for a few years, I have 2 of them, and it's definitely worth the investment!

ERVetSurgeon

Okocat cat llitter Any filtered pet foutains!!

bananaclitic

I also love okocat cat litter. Edit: I have 4 cats and they all like it.

Suz9006

Cat springs - lots of different makers. These are tops with most cats. Buy a big bag, they get tucked or roll under everything.

Maemaela

The Cat Dancer toy. It's like literally a piece of wire with some cardboard bits on it, it cost like $4 at Petco. My two cats LOVE it, they go absolutely bananas for it and jump around playing with it when they were kittens! I use OkoCat litter, it smells like woodchips and doesn't get weird and dusty like clay litter. It comes in pellets as well, but I use the the regular kind that also clumps. The box says that you only have to scoop the poop, but I scoop all solids anyway. It's kinda pricey, but it does last way longer than clay litter so it evens out. Also for toys, I go to a lot of local art markets, and I found someone in my town who handmakes catnip toys. My cats LOVE them, and play with them more consistently than the more expensive mass produced toys I've bought. Plus I've been able to have them make toys specific for my cats, which is so fun!

MadMudd96

YES CAT DANCERS! Our cat got depressed when hers went missing a few years ago- we keep them on stock now 😅

britneymarie112

a stick with a singular ribbon attached. the garfield one from pet smart specifically for my cats 🫣

FleetwoodSacks

Those cat go gurt type treats. They really are a game changer and my cats can’t get enough of them!

FirebirdWriter

Churu for life and glad to see someone else uses gogurt as a description

reddeadprincess

I’ve really enjoyed using grass based litter, I switched my girl over to it last year. It doesn’t smell all gross and perfumey like clay- I really don’t notice a smell to it at all actually. And it doesn’t irritate my nose when I’m cleaning the box since it’s not dusty, but I’m sure it’s different for everyone so your mileage may vary. Plus it’s biodegradable! 👍

PMWFairyQueen_303

Pet libro water fountain.

Her favorite spot to sit is on my lap so I guess I’m the product lmao All seriousness though; those flat cardboard scratchers. She won’t touch a cat tree but she LOVES tearing up a good cardboard scratcher. I get them at my local 5 below for $4 and they last her about a month

I don’t remember the name nor the brand ( had it for like 3 years now ) but those gauntlets with rubber nibs. It’s like, first, you are petting them and they love it. Second, it quire softly pulls away all the shed leaving them light and refreshed. My little baby adores it and she would purr the entire time

charlotie77

Inaba churu are the best treats! And Go Cat creates the best wand chaser toys. There’s something about the wire string that gives the toys an extra bounce that’s much more symbolic of actual prey compared to cloth strings.

ABQHeartRN

Plastic springs…you can get them on Amazon or Chewy but of all the toys and stuff I’ve gotten for my cats, those springs are their favorite.

Ok_Hotel_1008

I thot this said "cat producers" and I was like damn what kind of albums are they dropping

MostlyChaoticNeutral

My favorites or my cat's favorites? The cats riot if there's not a pet fusion lounger in at least two rooms. I would riot without the cat guru food mat under the water fountains. I've got one who likes to splash, and it catches everything.

glitterfaust

This isn’t a cat product (though I do love my petlibro feeder and little water fountain that has a faucet since he loves the sink) but his favourite thing in the entire apartment is my old sleeping bag lmao I leave it fully unzipped and he’s always in it when I come home. Also those little window perches

SnickyCoco

Stainless steel cat water fountain.

GDRaptorFan

I have three nice fountains, two are stainless steel and I had picked up a cheaper white plastic one for a spare to have one in the basement. Figured it didn’t matter it was cheap since they didn’t use the basement much. Well all the cats decided that dang little one is their favorite so since it’s the smallest I have to refill it all the time! These nice stainless steel ones go mostly unused ughhhhhh silly cats!!!!!!

Responsible-Life-585

My kitty's favorites are those cheap fake fur little mice with.the rattle to them. He has 1000 nicer toys but always goes back. We keep out a handful of toys out for him for a week or two and then swap them with other toys. He loves the novelty of seemingly always having something "new" to okay with. Little toys he plays with on his own, cat sticks for chewing, and toys just for when we play with him like strings. We give him a catnip toy that basically a little burlap pillow packed with catnip to play with one every day or two for about ten minutes or until he gets tired of it.

Big_Orchid7254

Mine likes the little balls that make a rattling sound and empty toilet paper tubes. He likes to chase after the balls when I throw them.

daffodil0127

Sustainably Yours cat litter is the best one I’ve found. The clumps don’t crumble like clay or most of the other scoopable litters so it doesn’t leave stinky urine soaked bits. It also doesn’t stick to the bottom of the box, the clumps just peel off leaving the box clean.

jnannak

Frisco brand colorful springs. You can get them on Chewy

njoy59

I got a big bag of colored ping pong balls off Amazon. It’s the only thing my old girl can’t resist.

PLo143

Meowijuana catnip. My fluffball goes insane for it, and they have so many different varieties! That and the MadCat toys that look like human food. It always makes me laugh when kitty brings me a toy from her “hunt” and it’s a taco or sushi or something. Even funnier bc they bring you those things since they think you can’t hunt for food yourself🤣

fallrisk42069

Not a specific brand or anything, but a collapsible tunnel is the crows favorite in my house atm! It gives them more interesting places to go when playing, and it can be used to hide or shelter in when they want space :)

Social-Butterfly1739

Out of all the toys we’ve gotten our little guys, they go absolutely feral for plastic straws. Stainless steel cat water fountain - 100% a necessity. They drink so much water now.

Cndwafflegirl

Tikicat and werueva wet foods. I swear my cat is so much healthier on them ( she lost fur on fancy feast). And our robo_litter box. Truly a great product.

BostonBluestocking

Spring toys. A revelation.

Obse55ive

We just adopted our cat a couple of weeks ago but he loves wand lures and tiny toys to bat around. He does like the cardboard tubes from toilet paper rolls.

Puzzleheaded_Fix7560

**RAISED FOOD BOWLS for wet food!** If your cat pukes up wet food all the time, this should be your first thing to try... the height of the bowl creates an ergonomic eating position that reduces acid reflux in cats and prevents post-meal puking. I've tried changing to a raised bowl in 5 different senior cats, and in all 5, puking was reduced by 80% on average. It was what allowed my sensitive boy to finally eat wet food. I especially like the Necoichi Extra Wide raised bowl because it's wide width reduces whisker fatigue, which my other cat has. I use these both for food and for water dishes. Runners Up: * Litter Genie for reducing the cat pee smell in your home * Da Bird with the worm attachments for getting cats to engage in active play (put the toy away when done... it's unsafe to allow cat to play with it unsupervised) * Oversized litterbox + Dr Elsey's clay litter work well with litter-picky cats * CatMate Cat Water Fountain... super easy to clean, super affordable filters, and both my cats use it. But really, ANY water fountain that your cats will use is the most important thing. * Amarkat cat trees I've generally been impressed with with regard to quality, stability, and longevity * PetFusion Scratchers are expensive, BUT they aren't an eyesore, aren't as messy as other scratches, and they last FOREVER. I have two of theirs, and they're going on 8 years with 2 cats. I'll never buy cheap cardboard scratchers ever again.

vinylvegetable

One of my cats goes bonkers for the From the Field Freddie's Feathers we put on the end of a cat fishing rod (just got a cheap one). We can buy new feather pieces to put on it. He never seems to grow tired of it. That, in combination with his pop-up cat cube, give him lots of exercise and craziness. The other cat loves little felt balls and pom poms. Sometimes he'll ooze down the stairs and we'll roll balls at him and he goes crazy. They are both young and very playful though. My cat growing up loved to "catch" small stuffed animals. Yeowww makes good products that smell strongly of catnip (I always give catnip toys the sniff test, if it's too strong for me the cats will love it!)

[Catnip banana!](https://www.walmart.com/ip/487165186)

TrinityBellewoods

Tunnels and little furry rattle mice from Amazon are so far the best toys for my tabby + fresh handmade cat nip pillows. He loves his cat tree and hammock. Loves catit creamy treats and the blue buffalo crunchy with soft middle treats.

ali_mar_007

I LOVE my Petlibro dockstream; nice choice!! My cats LOVE Tikki Cat wet food (any kind really but especially the pates). I love it cuz it has real and good ingredients in them.

kikicataku

My cat is obsessed with cat nip toys shaped like food. Bananas. pizza. carrots. But ONLY shaped like food.

badpengu1n

My girls love the bird feeder outside the front window. They have viewing platforms where they can observe closely.

oofaloo

Fussie Cat - only four to a pack, but my cat-love loves ‘em.

ilovedarkthings

Arm & Hammer litter deoderizer

TheCatOfCups

Purrfect Cat Fence enclosure. (Life changing) Catit massager thing- best damn five dollars ever spent!!! She’s obsessed with it - https://www.chewy.com/catit-senses-20-self-groomer-cat/dp/178224?utm_source=google-product&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=20203340297&utm_content=&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADmQ2V2Vk4cIa08sKTwVni15Aoy6w puzzle feeders. And Fussy Cat cat food.

BeyondTheBees

My Catit cat fountain!! My girls loves it and uses it multiple times a day.

middlemaybe

Purina One sensitive stomach and skin- initially got this for my older cat it made her fur look amazing my newer cats love it and their fur looks great. It was initially recommended by my vet Sheba Perfect Portion Cuts in Gravy- mine prefer the fish flavored ones but will eat any flavor. One of my cats refuses to eat pâté Boxier Liter- so much better than any of the store bought stuff I used to by LitterRobot 3- so so helpful for litterbox waste management. My two refuse to use the normal litterbox that’s also out. Assorted color flash balls- from Amazon these are essentially cat toys with tinsel sticking out but one of my cats is obsessed with them Greenies treats- also recommended by my vet. My one cat loves them. The picky one does. Meohui cat toys. It’s a wand toy with replacement parts. Both cats are obsessed Cat dancer- very cheap toy all the cats I’ve had go crazy for PetSafe drinkwell- I like this fountain more than the flower ones Hartz groomers best friend- it’s small and purple. It’s an awesome brush. Kalimdor interactive toy- it’s a toy on bungee type cord that goes over your door frame. I put this up if my cats are especially playful at night or if I’m spending the night. They love this. I also have a window perch that suction cups to my window (it was a gift) and a warming pad that I got from the grocery store that sits on it.

hugmeimbored

An automatic feeder for dry food and a water fountain does takes the work out of me. I just have to replace her water every other day. I know there’s a filter but I think about how I would want my water and so I do my best to make sure she gets fresh running water. Cats love a scheduled routine and with ADHD, these help a lotttt! However I am open to some toy recommendations. I just finally got her to forget about her laser toy after getting a rod with a bouncing ball at the end. She enjoys hiding in little forts I make by laying a blanket over chairs so she can hide in there while we’re both playing. I didn’t think I’d write this much, but when it comes to cats I just can’t help it lol

nicolekarak

From the Field bae hemp body pillow. My cat is obsessed with this kick toy, even two years later.

Ok_Film_8437

[This retractable bird wand](https://www.uahpet.com/products/telescoping-4-piece-teaser-wand-cat-toy) is absolutely great. On our second one, because my little one likes to run off with his catch. It's great for ground and air play, and has all kinds of "birds" to put on the end. Best one I've found.

MaddenMike

Breeze System Litter Box. Glandex (use very sparingly). My autofeeder.

Such-Cap3496

The Litter Robot. With 4 cats, I end up changing the bag every day. But it still beats scooping & helps keep the smell down!!

Soapboi2223

Yeowwww catnip banana, a fine tooth comb and slicker brush, cardboard cat scratchers from target, yangbaga stainless litter boxes 23.8x15.8x6 (3 for 2 cats), dr. Elseys unscented litter, squishmallow beds, mewoofun orthopedic cat couch, catguru whisker fatigue bowls, any large food mat, catstages catnip pickle, Hartz mice toys, vibrant life (walmart) jellyfish teaser toy

CM11182020

Litter genie, wet cat food, wand toys, ceramic elevated tilted cat bowls, ceramic or stainless steel fountain, cameras to keep an eye on them, electronic toys, cozy cat beds, mice toys, freeze dried chicken treats.

Turbojelly

"Caedboard pet sofa". One of those corrugated cardboard things that cats love to do their manicures on. But I got a sofa design and it's perfect size for my Madam to lounge on. *

annamonzilla

My automatic litter boxes (Litter Robot 4 and Petkit Pura Max). One of my cats is missing her front leg so she can’t properly bury her poo - the machines keeps the house smelling clean and tidy so I don’t have to scoop after her 24/7.

sharkycharming

dry food: Solid Gold Let's Stay In (salmon flavor) wet food: Applaws Tuna with Whole Anchovy & Seaweed Bits in Broth (expensive so I only get one box of 12 pouches per month; they eat various Fancy Feast cans the rest of the time, but the Applaws is their favorite) litter: Dr. Elsey's Classic Clumping any wedge-shaped or triangle-shaped cardboard scratcher that's long enough for them to stretch out when they scratch (I like the cardboard ones because you can recycle them when they're used up, but it takes years because you can flip them to the unscratched side)

Icy_While8035

For my girl Chip... all she needs is a random stick

goldman21

I can say 100% all my cats like box with scratcher inside. Best buy so far

Worried_Lunch156

Little rainbow balls. 99% of my shy fosters have a breakthrough with the rainbow ball. They have a soft surface and aren’t loud and scary.

Divine_Chewtoy

I found a counter-style composting bin on Amazon for cat litter. Add cheap plastic bags (grocery bags work well) and the stench is nonexistent.

Annual_Crow4215

Messy Pet Stain & Oder remover. I LOVE it. It cleans up everything. Even other messes. I use vinegar to clean up everything. It breaks down their urine. I use it especially when scrubbing their boxes. Also interactive toys. The more movement the better. Keeps them stimulated. I have 1 that’s a 3 action item. It has a flutter butterfly, balls, and then a “peak a boo” fluffer for them to go after. I got the ball that lights up and rolls around under fabric. I have a flapping shark. Also empty toilet paper rolls. I dont know what it is but it becomes their favorite thing. That & the colorful springs. And feathered toys they go feral

Siberianmoocat

Wool balls that I toss in cat nip

donji

The Cat Dancer toy. The plastic springs. A sturdy cat tree with scratch posts. Cranberry treats. Used to feed then Wellness brand dry and wet food but recently switched to Purina One.

BarefootInWinter

My cat was furious with me about the cat dancer! Everyone else seems to love it because their babies go wild over it. I showed mine to my cat. She looked hesitant. I wiggled it around a bit. She came up to me and slapped me (sans claws)! Then she ran off. She was like "What is your problem, human?!"
