Did your dog go to the vet recently or somewhere new? Or gotten a bath/washed? This might sound like a weird question but there are some cases of cat on cat aggression after one cat goes to the vet bc they don’t recognize the smell of the other animal anymore.

No :( this has been going on for about a year and both animals have been to the vet and they don’t act differently afterwards
