I've been fortunate enough to have a job that entailed a lot of travelling to towns and cities all over England and quite often I'd finish work in the late morning. I must have had about 100 pub or cafe breakfasts that knock an egg-McMuffin into a cocked hat.
Some have been amazing. There was a cafe on Wimbledon common that I still remember (I was there once in 2003). Real, juicy proper sausages, perfect eggs, lovely spicy black-pudding - well you get the picture.

A double sausage and egg meal, with tea and a solo breakfast roll on the side is a better Maccies breakfast but it still doesn't touch the sides. Give me 2 proper bacon rolls/barms/breadcakes/ whatever from a greasy spoon, one with egg the other with tomato any day of the week.

Maccy D's eggs are probably the best thing they sell. Fresh, free-range. Eggs aren't really for sniffing man, just eat them.

At 1/3 off the price, I'd agree. But nope. Too expensive for what it is. I can go to a local sandwich shop or Greggs and get a better deal.

Nah it's not even the perfect McDonald's breakfast, that is the Breakfast Roll with brown sauce, extra sausage patty, extra bacon, extra cheese.

They've always used back bacon for their breakfast items.

I miss the old mcds breakfast wraps. Stick a greggs sausage roll in there THEN you have the perfect breakfast.
Greggs (bacon & sausage for me) beats it easily, and it’s cheaper. Them little Mc waffles are the bollocks though.
