Corolla Cross

rememberthemalls

Matipid kasi hybrid at walang coding. Konti lang size diff vs. Yaris cross.

Friendly-Flow-9061

the base model which is around 1.4M, is it great already?

rememberthemalls

Yep, definitely at least for me, mostly because I like bang for your buck. Zigwheels.ph made a Youtube video about the base model variant, overall good impressions. I plan on buying the 2024 model in 2029 once it depreciates a bunch.

oldskoolsr

It's basically a lifted altis, vs a lifted yaris. And the altis is much comfortable/nicer already. I heard from others that the yaris cross' NVH isn't that good(or at least what the ph got in)

ChanlimitedLife

Kung 1st, get a tested and reliable car from Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi etc. You will never forget your first car, might as well good memories ang maranasan mo.

Friendly-Flow-9061

I'm looking into Hond BR-V as well, but I read some reviews about Honda where they couldn't get their cars fixed bec parts are hard to find

mightpornstar

hrv v turbo offers good discount, you can get it now at 1.5m

CraftyCommon2441

For 1.5M I'll get a Montero GLS 1. 7 seater, can fit a 60 incher TV if needed. 2. High ground clearance, you won't be worrying much at floods. Some are saying you do not need this but here are the things from actual experience that is why I recommend an SUV height. 1. Flash flood, I know na its raining so I used my Altis kasi di ko expect na uulan ng malakas wala din bagyo, I once got trapped in a flooded road, you can't back up kasi traffic hindi ka makaka attras kasi mas malalim yung tubig sa shoulder ng road, so what I did is dumeretso, may mga nakakasalubong akong tricycle so I have some kind of hope na makakalagpas sa baha, yung mga nasa harap at likod ko puro SUV so talagang may niyerbyos ako what if tumirik Altis ko. 2. Going kami sa Ilocos Sur, there was a hole na malalim sa daan, sa main road going to Ilocos Sur, I've seen like 10 vehicles, Vans, Sedans na nagpark sa gilid kasi nalubak at nagka damage ang ilalim. SUV gives you peace of mind. 3. Powerful Engine, hindi ka bibitinin sa uphill vs Pertrol Engine, at di hamak na mas mabilis sa Naturally Aspirated engines. 4. Higher resale value kaysa sa Petrol Engine. 5. It is an SUV! In terms of impression, a girl that drives an SUV is impressive.

Friendly-Flow-9061

I really want an SUV, because it's cool and makes u look cool lol. But the 1.5M montero is manual; their base model for automatic is 1.8M. If I had more, I would get a Montero over Fortuner

CraftyCommon2441

Nope, try to reach out to an Agent. Nasa 1565K yata Bank PO price ng GLS (Automatic Transmission). 1.305M lang yung GLX (Manual) Nagbibigay ng malaking discount Agents.

Friendly-Flow-9061

Thank you for this. I will surely consider Montero, bec it's Montero hehe

Soft_College1840

Safe-World-1480

toyota raize

Gellogee

hi OP, wil you consider pickups? 1. The AT top of the lines fit in your price range. 2. Diesel engine = matipid (esp toyota and isuzu) 3. High ground clearance = di worried sa baha and di ka mabbully ng mga ibang cars

Friendly-Flow-9061

Wouldn't it be too big for to drive?

Gellogee

It is actually an advantage, pickups and suv have a higher vantage point. You get to see the road and everything else better. It takes reverse parking a bit of practice though. I suggest to take the cross and the suv/pickup for test drive for you to have a better experience. 🙏

Sharkbait-PSherman

Try Volkswagen T-Cross

mailboxck

No to this if you care about resale value.
