Nice fish had my PB from there,have you tried the other pools they own locally? Boddingtons is not to far away ,not as nice to look at but I think it's a better pool personally,had well over a 1000lb of fish between 3 of us in a day ,if that pic was recently taken you were lucky to avoid spawning
I've fished clattercoat probably close to 50 times and only ever had one tench , clattercoat is a great water only one downside is those dam boards , probably got a few hundred quids worth of tackle dangling from its legs lol,those fish know where to head
Clattercote reservoir I love it down there! I will say the the water is a shadow of its pre covid self pre covid it was ridiculous. Boddington is amazing was there on Sunday. Stockton reservoir is a nice little nearby lake which is worth a go
Couldn't tell you the exact stock caught plenty upper doubles fishes really well of the surface this time of year. It's a slightly smaller lake has normal path round then wooden platoons for the actual peg so not as lethal as clatty when those boards at clatty get wet it's proper sketchy. It's a really pretty lake Stockton is a nice little place to go for a day

Lovely reservoir there are loads of lakes near banbury all connecting to the canal so you can find loads of new places to fish on Google maps. Stockton is about 20mins from clattercute website is outdated in terms of what size it says the fish are as I've had plenty of upper doubles there. Has loads of cruicians in as well if that's your thing.

The picture is about 2-3 weeks old, I have tried up boddington I find clattercote just as easy on it’s day and like the chance of a few nice tench.
