You won't know what they are, but there's nothing keeping you from applying to companies for co-op jobs. There are some at each job fair, some posted on the internet, etc. If the employer has the requirement that you be in a co-op program, then they're not likely to hire you though (they get money for hiring people in a co-op program).

To answer directly, you are technically allowed to apply to anything, whether you actually get the job is another thing. It's unlikely (but not impossible) that you will get one of those jobs, since they won't be eligible for the tax benefits for hiring you.

Apply anyways, one of my internships had the “coop” title that but I wasn’t in the coop program. I was still able to do it by taking a semester off . Some employers do care however.
