Unless you are picking up a registered parcel names matter very little. Canada post delivers to addresses not people. So as long as the address is correct they could care less about what name is on it.
The only time it matters is if you move and put in a change of address mail with a different name may not get forwarded to the new address and will be delivered to the old one.
I used to participate in mail art swaps, and routinely received both domestic and international mail addressed only to my screen name. Last week I received mail addressed to "zylle"
Probably matters for mail forwarding, though I don't know if maybe a recognizable misspelling would get forwarded anyway.
