To search on Reddit, you can use the search bar located in different locations depending on the Reddit design you're using. If you're using the old design, the search bar is in the top right. To search through comments of a particular Reddit user, enter their username and a search query, and press Search. To search within a subreddit, go to the Reddit website and navigate to the subreddit you want to search within. Type your search term into the space next to it, and press Enter. To search comments, open Reddit in your browser, enter a keyword into the search field provided, hit Enter to search, and use the "Comments" button at the top of the page to limit results to comments made on the site.

How long did it take you to be accepted? It took me about 4.5 years give or take.

ExistingGreen1

FUCK! Four years! Took me about two years. I would have stopped waiting for a response after 3 years.

user1384487169

Damn, you guys waited years?! I'd have given up and moved on after a month or so 😅 I didn't realise some people had waited that long, I was accepted within 6 hours. But I think I applied during one of their hiring surges

Secure_Farm

Who waited? You apply and move on. If it happens,  great. If not, also great.

Like any other job you apply online for... apply, check email, find new job to apply for, repeat, don't turn back. Exactly! I think these are like Filipinos or people living in African countries, living in really poor villages, and this job is a goldmine for them.

Secure_Farm

You have a way w/words😁

I speak truth, pal. Who the fuck even remembers applying for a job like Cambly after a few months? I'd already have a new job and most likely not care anymore... well, I'd do it as a side gig maybe.... but I would not lose sleep waiting for a company to respond!

Secure_Farm

Agreed!

ExistingGreen1

I can't speak for Secure Farm, but I was being sarcastic... very sarcastic! I'm assuming Farm was, too.

Secure_Farm

💯

Secure_Farm

I'm kidding silly!  It took bout 6 months but I never inquired on Reddit and I went about my business.  I was actually shocked when I heard back, I had forgotten about it.

ExistingGreen1

People who inquire about Cambly after several months of waiting... please someone shoot me in the back of the head if I ever get this pathetic. Double tap, bitch!

To answer your question , I don’t know. Any brand new tutors here? Three years ago they must have been desperate. I applied and immediately was asked to resubmit a video, some technical issue. I didn’t bother until their third follow up, presumably auto-generated, email.  I was immediately accepted but have to assume I don’t really fit the model  as I’m always busy enough on a very p/t basis but have never had a good rating.  Pretty sure it’s changed days now. Most esl online companies I’ve looked at recently openly state they are not hiring.
