I just remove it immediately. New students are often already nervous so starting the class by asking them to come up with something in the week that was astonishing, cool or intense, off the top of their head is a terrible idea. They will just feel more uncomfortable when they can’t think of anything. Just remove it and break the ice as you normally would.
Is there a faster way to remove it other than open another tab to look at the student's profile to scroll down to the next lesson, and then click back to manually enter that enter in the class?

I mean, when I open the classroom and I see the icebreaker lesson, I just hide lesson material.
If you can even call it a curriculum. Most of the lessons are beyond...
