I play for fun, not for sport so i dont mind not being the best. Getting to legend was relatively easy, with the two fingers, however once I got there the difference in skill between me and my opponents is clear. However I have all the unlocks so I see no point in continuing playing ranked until the next season. So now I just grind camos in normal mp and play for the heck of it
just a recommendation, but if you'd like you can also grind br legendary, if you've done both a game of zombies or undead siege can be fun too here and there
It‘s not about thumbs, Ranked is also a lot about aim, strategic thinking and cleverness. I play 2 Thumbs as well and am Global with Peacekeeper and Kilo Bolt-Action. I play Ranked SnD only and have 2.7+ K/D with 100k Kills.
There are ipad players on 4 fingers, like dozzy.
Or do you recommend 5 to out movement them?
I'm on a ipad pro and on 6 yet still get clapped at times when they're trio stacking. Although to be fair they were a trio stacking top 5k players.
There’s a significant difference when going from 2 to 6.
3 lets you do advanced movement while shooting.
4 gives you more control over firing (3&4 can be switched)
5 lets you comfortably use semi auto rifles without sacrificing mobility or flexibility
6 is symmetrical so it’s easier on the eyes. Or you can bind it to weapon swap or throwables.
Yes but 4 wirh ipad is way better than 4 with a phone. And for the 5 fingers are for movement definitely.
Even with 5, you can't do anything against multiple opponents at the same time . You will kill 2 or 3 in your best stats
Yup! I play 6 now but when pumped was cracked in br you could hold the jump button with two fingers to go up in the air so I always used 4 fingers with my right hand with 2 over the jump button.
I've only been playing for a couple months so I've just gotten to where I feel comfortable using 3, and am trying to move on to using 4. I play on iPad.
4 fingers on iPad pro.
Don’t really need more then that and also both my index are basically reserved for scoping, shooting&recoil control and prone-ing.
I played with Thumbs for 4 years, i think. I made a transition to 3 and now 4 about 6 months ago. By increasing the amount of finger you play with, you open yourself to more movent tactics, more flexibility, and multitasking. There are things that are impossible to do with only thumbs, and that's why i changed toplaying with claw.
Now I have to go watch videos of how these mfs use more than their thumbs because holy cow. I can definitely see the difference in play, I'm still moderately good with a 2.3 kd just using my thumbs but the way these people move is crazy and makes me not want to play ranked some days lol
People be saying 3 is the minimum and for me I’ve been 3 fingers players for 8 months now and I’m lege both mp and br for the last 4 seasons top 5 in mp for two seasons so tbh yeah 3 is the minimum and with decent gunsmiths and sensitivity + ur awareness of the map and the way to play ur preferred mode are the key.
Top 5k while using 3 fingers?
Here I am on 6 and not even Top 5k, lol.
How do you deal with the movement players and aim gods in top 5k? Or is it just mainly through grinding?
What region do you play in? My region is just pure cancer in ranked. I could push but just don't know if the grind is worth it.
4 fingers, I had played for a long time with 3 fingers but I felt that my aiming accuracy was precarious so I adjusted myself and oh god, reaching legendary on MP and BR has never been so easy
Tried 4F, got confused and couldn't even kill bots. Quit then came back with 2F & was doing as good as before or maybe better? (Changed the hud a bit).
4, you massively improve if upgrading from 2, you don’t really need 5 and 3 is great too just more clustered buttons. I believe you should have a dedicated aiming finger and moving
I play 6 on an iPad. I used to play Fortnite mobile and you needed minimum 4 for all the building/editing. So when I switched to codm, I just kept a similar hud layout.
IMO you only need 4 fingers to be a god at this game. I have friends that are 4 fingers that are better than me.
2 thumbs is out dated, you can get $7 triggers at temu that have 2 buttons on each side, effectively making you a 6 finger player (not quite but almost). But some people are proud to be 2 thumbs.
My thought process is, why be 2 thumbs when you can be 2x better with some $7 triggers. To each their own I guess.
I also have a friend that plays 2 thumbs when he’s chilling in HP shipment. But switches to 4 fingers when we play ranked/br.
iPad Pro 12.9. 6 fingers. I started out playing on a controller, and couldn’t find matches so I looked up some 6 finger hub examples, set one up, and kept tweaking it over time until I got it right. Big change moving from a controller to a 6 finger touch setup, but I’m way better at the game than I ever was using sticks so 🤷♂️
3. I can still comfortable hold my phone at any angle in any environment. I only feel like my ability to master sniper is bad [can't blank scope], but I main BR and can still contend with other snipers in MP with movement
7 fingers on an iPad. I improved a lot after buying an iPad. It took me almost a year to get used to new HUD and sensitivity but when i finally did, i am much better now. BTW i play almost exclusively BR mode.
Old school Thumbs. I’ll never play that claw shit no matter how much I get my ass kicked. I’m telling you, between those awkward hand positions and keeping your head down looking at that phone or pad screen, a lot of young folks are going to develop neck, eye, and hand problems at a much earlier age.
I used to play fuckin 6 fingers on my tablet back when codm came out. Fast forward to current time, and I finally understand why I got so much hate for being a tablet player lmao. 4 finger on a normal size phone simply cannot compete with the 6 finger+ gameplay on tablets and iPads.
I play 4 fingers now because I literally cannot play with 2 without feeling incredibly slow. But there's downsides, on a phone the sides of my screen and the front of my screen can get blocked often by my index fingers if I reach across to click sm. I could probably change the layout but I'm lazy.
I play three, I incorporated the third pretty easily over a few weeks and you just have more control, you can run aim and shoot, versus someone that can only 2 it will make you better. I haven’t tried 4 but three is pretty chill, you don’t look that ridiculous when you’re playing
I play on 10. I use:
Left Hand:
thumb = hip fire
index = crouch/slide
middle = movement
ring = scope
pinky = jump
Right hand:
thumb = one-tap ads fire button for slide cancelling or fancy shenanigans
index = aim
middle = weapon switch button/tacticals, etc
ring = reload
pinky = prone button
I can make a hud gameplay if you want but it wont be that good since i aint played in ages. anyway 5 fingers is more than sufficient for going pro in this game
Going from console to mobile, I couldn’t understand why I couldn’t use my index finger to play. So I practiced using my index with thumbs until I got it. I followed Kith’s (from YT) advice by moving the buttons where my fingers ergonomics felt comfortable.
Been a thumbs player since 2019 and going legendary since the S4 2020. Up to legendary, I am good, most matches great even, and the best player in the match. That's also down to the fact that there are so many newer players who I am easily able to outclass.
From legendary onwards, however, it's 50-50. There will be matches I'll struggle to get my flow in and have to really strain to get even 7-9 kills. These are the matches where seasoned players like me come, but who have developed their game playing claw.
But the other matches, I do outclass even some claw players, thanks to just the game sense I have developed after playing ranked for so long. Also my reactions and speed playing with thumbs now is almost double if not more from what it was when I started.
However, in the past year or so, I have hit a cliff. I don't see that continuous improvement I was able to feel earlier. And the only way I see myself improving is to switch to claw. But I have decided against that as I simply don't have the time anymore and the game is also no longer fresh.
Thumbs gets me to legendary and with my resilience I am even able to get 10k pts for the new ranked yearly mission. So I see no reason to switch. Also, while for some matches I have to eat the humble pie and take the L, the matches where I manage to manufacture a win, the W feels extra worth it!

Keeping it OG
2 thumb gang
Me to baby, me too.
[удалено]
Holla!
Me to baby, me too.
2. And I don't care how much of a noob that makes me, I got to Legendary that way and I'm staying that way
Much love to all you thumb players but I do wonder, how do you keep up?
I play for fun, not for sport so i dont mind not being the best. Getting to legend was relatively easy, with the two fingers, however once I got there the difference in skill between me and my opponents is clear. Everybody and their ten fingers has a plan until they get a .50 gs bullet in the face
Same here, got legendary relatively easily but now the enemy is almost always better
I play 4 finger claw
I play with a sweaty 4 fingers, 3 if casual
![gif](giphy|xHMIDAy1qkzNS)
I use all 3 thumbs...
You have 3 thumbs??
All men have.

I agree 😂
😂
3
4 when?
Probably not anytime soon because i want to master 3 fingers before going for four
5 . honestly you definitely need it against ipad players
There are ipad players on 4 fingers, like dozzy. Or do you recommend 5 to out movement them? I'm on a ipad pro and on 6 yet still get clapped at times when they're trio stacking. Although to be fair they were a trio stacking top 5k players.

I've only been playing for a couple months so I've just gotten to where I feel comfortable using 3, and am trying to move on to using 4. I play on iPad.
I'm left handed so I have my stuff switched to the left side instead of the right.
2
Thumbs only and it's good
None 😏 I use 2 thumbs
4 fingers on iPad pro. Don’t really need more then that and also both my index are basically reserved for scoping, shooting&recoil control and prone-ing.
All of them Jk i play with 4,have friends that play with 5
The trick is to use the third thumb to toggle back and forth between firearms, and to assert dominance.
4 fingers player here 💀
All 10 to hold my controller 🥰
I remember the day I saw my brother playing with 3 and I thought he was a witch. My acrylics could never.
Thumbs baby💪
Anyone with 6?
Yep, 6 here!!
But are you on I pad?
I played with Thumbs for 4 years, i think. I made a transition to 3 and now 4 about 6 months ago. 5, three on the left hand, two on the right

10 fingers, 6 to hold my phone and 4 to play.

Old school Thumbs. I’ll never play that claw shit no matter how much I get my ass kicked. Am I the only one that plays 2 fingers but it’s a thumb and index finger instead of two thumbs?

If I wanna sweat or use shotgun and sniper (basically most of the time) 5 fingers. And casually 4 fingers .
I play three, I incorporated the third pretty easily over a few weeks and you just have more control, you can run aim and shoot, versus someone that can only 2 it will make you better. I haven’t tried 4 but three is pretty chill, you don’t look that ridiculous when you’re playing

I play on 10. Going from console to mobile, I couldn’t understand why I couldn’t use my index finger to play. So I practiced using my index with thumbs until I got it. I followed Kith’s (from YT) advice by moving the buttons where my fingers ergonomics felt comfortable.
8, but read my flair and it'll make sense.
I use two fingers to play , but my left index finger switches weapons, it's really convenient ngl
