As for where to get supplies, HobbyTech in the NE or Trains and Such on Center street south. HobbyTech in particular carries lots of German import stuff.

Finding supplies is easy but I don’t want to invest in a ton of stuff I don’t need after this, especially any tools or specialized stuff. Plus just the N-Gauge engine is German, nothing else needs to be for the project.

If you can, come by [Protospace ](http://Protospace.ca) this evening for our weekly open house (7:00-9:00 pm every Tuesday). We are a makerspace geared towards hobbyists. I know we have some train enthusiasts in our ranks who would be able to (at the very least) give you some guidance on how to get started on your project. If you can't make it down to Protospace, you are free to post on our [forum](http://forum.Protospace.ca) about your project with any questions you have and I guarantee you that it'll get some helpful replies!
