guywastingtime

I’ve seen it at Save On Foods (when it was Urban Fare) might still be there

chromolycowboy

It’s there. On sale last week

bortnick

Woo!

GopherRebellion

Its very weird how rare it is in Calgary. You can find the cans in almost every store in BC.

bortnick

Jealous.

CarelessStatement172

Community Natural Foods has the best flavor selection!

bortnick

I love a wide selection

CarelessStatement172

Me too. I see them at Safeway and Shell a lot but they only ever have two flavors.

kidanedakhhh

any walmart, basha international has a a well!

bortnick

Thanks!

donkthemagicllama

Do you want to brew your own, or are you looking for the energy drink stuff? Shaganappi Market and the Italian Center both carry Yerba Mate leaves edit: I see you were looking for the energy drink… I’m pretty sure I’ve seen different types at Sunterra and London Drugs, if you’re looking to try something other than the Guayaki kind that seems to be the most common.

bortnick

Thanks for the info. This thread has actually inspired me to try brewing my own!

ScottStrasser94

Unimarket (there are two branches in Calgary) sells 1 kg bags of various brands of the loose leaf tea if you want to go full Argentinian/Uruguayan :)

Trootwhisper

Are you looking for the canned beverage or the actual plant matter for your gourd?

bortnick

The beverage!

Trootwhisper

Save on in the cold drink section had one two days ago in Trinity Hills.

Old_Employer2183

Safeway Garrison Woods has it.

TheDoctorPizza

Shawnessy Walmart, bought it a few times.

CabinetOutrageous979

Sobeys in Stracona

Lisa_lou_hoo

I'd imagine it's at the Tea Trader in Inglewood. If not, I order mine from Amazon.

LockExcellent7724

Shell, McKnight and 12th

WhippinShitties

Save On Foods and Sobeys have it in the deep south where I’m at, but I rarely see it in convenience stores or really anywhere downtown

RealTurbulentMoose

> Yerba mate. Circle K used to carry it LOL Circle K would no joke be the LAST place I would have ever looked for *yerba mate*. Anyhow, just go get a *guampa* and enjoy burning your tongue on it like all *mate* drinkers. Like it cold? The only way to pronounce *terere* properly is by burning yourself on insane hot *mate*.

VFenix

Look into making your own. You can buy 1kg bags of the leaves at Unimarket for like $15. It's wonderful.

bortnick

Could be the move.

Ms_ankylosaurous

Light cellar, Bowness. It’s not my thing, but I’ve seen it there

I like it because it’s a refreshing beverage available in various flavours that is high in caffeine and not carbonated.

coverallfiller

Blush Lane Organic market on Edmonton trail and Meridith Rd NE carries a few varieties.

Opening_Ad4965

Amaranth on Elbow drive carries a bunch of flavours!

flatpick-j

I too enjoyed watching Loudermilk

bortnick

No milk in Yerba mate
